The sounds of crying and scolding, mingled with heavy breathing, did not cease until the early hours of the morning. Meng Yu held him, took a quick shower, and then tucked him into bed, holding him close to soothe him.
Lu Shian forced his eyelids open to look at the man before him. This person, usually so gentle and restrained, was incredibly fierce in bed.
“Were you this fierce the first two times too?” Lu Shian closed his eyes, his voice weary and hoarse.
“The first time was very fierce.” Meng Yu held Lu Shian tighter, a sense of guilt gradually rising in his heart. “I am sorry, Shishi. That time, I was acting out of emotion. I am truly sorry.”
“Mmm.” Lu Shian’s consciousness was drifting, and his breathing gradually leveled out. He managed only a soft, sticky sound from the back of his throat.
Meng Yu hesitated repeatedly before finally speaking. “Shishi, I did not know back then that you blacked out when you drank. When that incident happened years ago, I thought you were scared and retreated, which is why you hid from me and went abroad. But actually, you just forgot. You just forgot, right?”
Meng Yu’s voice was soft and low. He waited for half a minute, but Lu Shian did not respond. He looked down and realized that Lu Shian had already tilted his head and fallen into a deep sleep. Gently touching Lu Shian’s swollen lips, Meng Yu whispered, “Goodnight, Shishi.”
Meng Yu’s internal clock was precise. He had a habit of making his own breakfast and woke up at 6:30 AM. When he woke, Lu Shian was still sleeping. He tried to pull his arm out from under Lu Shian, but at the slightest movement, Lu Shian woke up.
Lu Shian’s sleep quality had been poor over the last two years; the smallest noise would wake him.
“Up so early?” Lu Shian’s eyes were misty with sleep, his entire body soft and lazy.
“I thought I would make you breakfast.”
“No need. That is not in our agreement, and there is a maid at home.”
“It has nothing to do with the agreement. I simply want to do it.” Meng Yu lifted the quilt to get out, but Lu Shian grabbed his arm. “I want to do it, too.”
He looked at Meng Yu expectantly. Without clothes under the covers, Lu Shian looked soft and easy to bully, much like he did in the past. Meng Yu’s mouth parted slightly. After a moment, he asked uncertainly, “Do it as in morning sex?”
“Mmm.” Lu Shian nodded. Before he could even prepare himself, Meng Yu had already lifted the quilt and pressed back down on him.
By the time they finished again, it was 7:30 AM. Meng Yu’s plan to make breakfast was completely ruined; he did not even have time to eat himself.
“Shishi, you have the potential to bring ruin to a kingdom.” Meng Yu, breathing heavily, pressed a kiss to Lu Shian’s flushed forehead. “You do not start work until nine. Sleep a bit longer. I have to go.”
“On the left, the clothes in that wardrobe are the ones I prepared for you.” Lu Shian felt it was difficult even to catch his breath, and his words came in snatches.
“Alright.” Meng Yu went to the bathroom to shower first. A moment later, Lu Shian dragged his exhausted body up and went to the other bathroom to wash.
His legs were trembling as he walked. He wanted to say that Meng Yu was the one with the potential to ruin a kingdom. The contrast between Meng Yu’s behavior on and off the bed left Lu Shian incredibly excited. Hearing that refined, clear voice talk dirty made his blood boil. Seeing Meng Yu working up a sweat because of him made Lu Shian restlessly agitated. He felt that he was becoming addicted to Meng Yu’s body.
Meng Yu finished his shower in just five minutes. When he came out, Lu Shian was also emerging from the other bathroom.
“Why are you up?” Meng Yu, wrapped in a bathrobe, pulled Lu Shian into the bedroom and picked up a hairdryer to dry Lu Shian’s hair.
The bald patch had grown back, though it was still very short. To make it look less conspicuous, Lu Shian had specifically found the best hairstylist to cut it short and style it. Now, his hair was quite short, giving him a clean, sharp, and handsome look.
