Feng Sixi's clothes were simple to the extreme—a black short-sleeved shirt and matching pants, with not a single other color to be found on his entire person.

He stood there quietly and plainly, yet the moment his gaze swept over, Yan Yang felt an overpowering predatory aura.

Truly worthy of being the dangerous figure capable of reducing this world to rubble.Full novel: After Saving the Yandere Villain, I Crashed and Burned — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

A single first encounter.

And it already sent a chill down one's spine.

The icy mockery on Yan Yang's face instantly shifted to beaming with delight.

She trotted toward the tall, upright man, stopping at a carefully measured distance under his dangerous gaze.

Her delicate little face seemed flushed with excitement.

She asked eagerly, "Are you Feng Sixi?"

This was Feng Sixi at twenty-five, before he had risen to maximum threat level.

Yan Yang had wanted to go to an even earlier time period—it would have made her mission much more convenient.

But the hundred and sixty-seven fools who had attempted this task before her had already left the wormhole leading to Planet 1029 in tatters, unable to provide enough energy for Yan Yang to reach her target time.

She settled for five years before the planet's destruction.

After a brief moment of absent-mindedness, Yan Yang could only watch as Feng Sixi… walked right past her.

Ignored.

Fine.

Yan Yang quickly caught up, trotting alongside him, chattering incessantly: "Hello, Mr. Feng, my name is Yan Yang. You probably don't remember me, but a few years ago, you saved me from drowning in the Moon Altar Park. Do you remember? I've been searching for you for so long, and I finally found you…"

"I don't remember."

Feng Sixi's cold gaze swept across Yan Yang's face before quickly looking away: "Please, stay away from me."

Yan Yang kept her pace, seemingly unbothered by his disregard and coldness: "How could you not remember me? But it's fine if you've forgotten—Mr. Feng, I'm here to repay a kindness… You… don't have anywhere to go right now, do you?"

Feng Sixi stopped in his tracks.

His dark, shadowed gaze bore into Yan Yang's face—bewitching in its beauty, yet with eyes that were startlingly bright and clear.

"You investigated me?"

The slight upward lilt at the end of his sentence signaled that he was on the verge of losing his temper.

Feng Sixi was… mercurial by nature, obsessive and twisted. Provoke him, and one's fate would likely be…

Bang, bang, bang.

Blown to smithereens.

Yan Yang let a hint of timidity show on her face, just as he expected.

Tsk…

Feng Sixi observed her fearful little expression. She claimed she wanted to repay a kindness, but that was all there was to her.

She was already scared this easily.

But the very next second, Yan Yang seemed to muster up her courage: "Mr. Feng, I apologize. Because I wanted to repay you, I made inquiries everywhere to find out who you were. It took great effort to learn of your situation… Please forgive my presumption."

Mm, an act.

Yan Yang considered her performance convincing and on point. This villain was currently bristling with hostility toward the entire world, so she would use this approach to slowly soften him.

In truth, she would have loved to just take a knife to this twisted freak and be done with it—problem solved, right?

But the mission guidelines stated that although this villain would drag the world down with him, he was simultaneously the greatest driving force behind this world's progression.

If he were gone, this planet's development would likely grind to a halt.

So she had to complete her mission to stop him from destroying the planet, while also ensuring his safety.

As expected of an SSS-rank.

Thinking of her bonus… Yan Yang held back.

"Mr. Feng, please give me a chance to do something for you. You saved me—if I don't repay you, I'll never be able to rest easy."

Her gaze was clear and bright like a deer's, pure and simple.

Unlike the various looks Feng Sixi had seen before—those sinister, scheming, selfish, narrow, and vile stares.

Just as Feng Sixi was beginning to ponder the question on a strange whim, Wang Dahu dragged his group of black-and-blue lackeys over and surrounded them: "Feng Sixi! I couldn't get a proper beating in back there, but today I've finally found my chance!"

The squinty-eyed man covered his bleeding nose and said viciously, "Our young master's bodyguards are already on their way! They'll take care of you soon!!"

Feng Sixi let out a cold snort: "Seems like you weren't beaten enough in there."

He stood tall and elegant, peerlessly handsome, yet the aura around him was enough to make one's blood run cold.

It was filled with a terrifying chill.

Just as the fight was about to break out, Yan Yang called the police from the side: "Hello, I'd like to report a group of rich second-generation kids engaging in a brawl, bullying others with their status, and oppressing innocent citizens."

Wang Dahu and his lackeys: ??
