The crowd screamed and ran up the cabin stairs; only Yu Ying walked against the tide, heading downward. The ship was slowly sinking, and in everyone’s eyes, Yu Ying was a madman seeking her own death.

“Ma’am, ma’am!” A server anxiously grabbed Yu Ying’s wrist. “Don’t go down; the ship is sinking!”

Yu Ying couldn’t care less. She had seen the eerie tentacles moving toward the fourth-floor cabins, and Yu Mianmian was still in the luxury suite.Full novel: After The Charismatic Beauty Was Coveted By A Gloomy Monster — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

The crowd was noisy and packed tight; Yu Ying was squeezed into the middle of the mass.

She reached the luxury suite, and seawater washed over her ankles, the icy water stimulating her central nervous system. The scenery around her was distorted, and the sensation of vertigo made it impossible for her to take another step.

Yu Ying braced her palms against a table to steady herself for a moment, and the dizziness faded. She opened her eyes and looked ahead. The people who had remained in the cabin were controlled by eerie power; their black pupils had turned white, and their eyes stared gloomily at Yu Ying.

“Why did Mother abandon me? Why did Mother abandon me?” The crowd shifted, moving closer to Yu Ying, forming a circle around her, questioning her over and over again.

Damp tentacles crawled past Yu Ying’s ears, and she heard a voice from the deep sea.

“Mother, I am so cold. Could you please hold me?”

Yu Ying did not know that she had fallen into a “Ghost Domain.” The dim environment swallowed her, the lights overhead flickered incessantly, and black seawater had spread to her calves. Tentacles wrapped around her legs, their suckers firmly sucking onto her skin.

She saw Yu Mianmian’s back. Under the fluorescent light, Yu Mianmian’s back was thin and frail, and there was a protrusion where her shoulder blades met; it seemed as though something was about to drill through Yu Mianmian’s skin.

“Mianmian.” Yu Ying’s palm gently patted Yu Mianmian’s shoulder.

Eight tentacles burst forth from Yu Mianmian’s shoulder blades. Mucus mixed with blood dripped from the tips of the tentacles. A drop of mucus landed on Yu Ying’s face, sliding down to her chin.

A soft, pink tentacle wrapped around Yu Ying’s waist. Yu Ying’s feet left the ground, and before she could even cry out for help, another mating tentacle thrust into her mouth. The suckers sucked on the soft flesh inside her mouth, kissing her with all its might.

“Mother, it’s me. I am your most beloved child.” Yu Mianmian’s brain had been parasitized by an octopus. She turned her body sluggishly to face Yu Ying, the remaining tentacles winding around Yu Ying’s wrists and ankles.

It looked up at its mother, staring at her slightly red and swollen lips. Its tentacles were covered in many suckers. Yu Ying frowned, trying to spit out the tentacle, but the cunning tentacle used its suckers to latch onto the roof of her mouth, intertwining with her tongue.

The corners of Yu Ying’s eyes turned slightly red, and a few tears welled up. The tentacle moved incessantly in her mouth, its suckers firmly pressed against the corners of her lips.

She heard it whispering, “Mother, Mother, Mother, Mother…”

It was rebelling against its mother for the first time. From its perspective, Mother was a powerful and terrifying monster with the highest “Ghost Value.” When it learned that Mother was human, an unspeakable desire rose within its heart.

When Mother became human, she was fragile and tiny.

For example, just like this, the tentacle pressed close to Mother’s lips, nuzzling her.

It looked up at its mother as if looking up at a deity in its heart. It dared not show the slightest disrespect to the deity, so it could only use these shady means to covet her.

It longed for Mother to reach out with her own tentacles to discipline it; it longed for Mother to trample it beneath her feet.

Mother’s mouth was warm. It felt the temperature belonging to a human for the first time. The scorching heat wrapped it tightly, as if it had crashed into Mother’s embrace. Greedily, it wanted more; the tip of its tentacle reached toward Yu Ying’s lips.

Yu Ying’s mouth was filled with the fishy smell of the sea. She did not like the fishy smell, but the tentacle mucus tasted like sweet peaches. She bit down on the tentacle with her teeth.

She looked down at Yu Mianmian, who was parasitized by the octopus. Yu Mianmian’s entire face flushed, her eyelashes trembling. It was looking up at her, looking up at the deity it had coveted for so long.

With a mischievous sense of humor, Yu Ying bit the tentacle, discovering that Yu Mianmian’s face would flush because of her swallowing. She played with its tentacles wantonly, watching its suckers inhale and exhale as it begged her for more.

The octopus tentacle lifted the hem of Yu Ying’s clothing, taking advantage of her distraction to sneak inside. The suckers sucked on Yu Ying’s lower abdomen, while the tip of the tentacle reached out from under the clothes to lick the transparent liquid from the corner of Yu Ying’s mouth.

Mother, her mother.

Yu Ying realized the octopus tentacle monster was attempting to drill down her throat. Her teeth pierced the surface skin of the tentacle, and the smell of blood spread in her mouth. Black mist spread within her pupils; some kind of eerie power invaded her body.

“Stop.” She made an inarticulate sound, warning the octopus tentacle monster.

She opened her eyes again, the whites of her eyes surrounded by black mist. She gently grasped the mating tentacle and pulled it out from her throat.

“I said stop.”

Children who do not listen must be severely punished.

The mating tentacle fell to the deck, the entire limb crystal clear and coated in the mucus from Yu Ying’s mouth, its suckers inhaling and exhaling in a trembling ecstasy, shaking off even more unspeakable liquid.

“Disobedient children will be punished.” The wooden hairpin in Yu Ying’s long hair fell out, and her hair cascaded down. The sea breeze blew her black-as-ink strands.

She stood in the shadows, her pupils like an abyss formed by the black ocean. The iron plate she stepped on melted into a puddle of molten metal the moment she touched it.

Its tentacles retracted from Yu Mianmian’s body, worried that its “ugly” true form would frighten Mother. It pressed its tentacles onto the deck, the suckers sticking to the floorboards. Like a child who had made a mistake, it knelt before Mother.

“Mother.” Its sticky tentacles reached toward Yu Ying’s palm. “I was just testing you earlier; I absolutely did not have any intention of rebelling against you.”

“Oh, is that so?” Yu Ying’s palm landed on its cheek, lightly patting it like a flirtation. “You just stuck your mating tentacle into my mouth—were you trying to mate with me?”

It quickly lowered its octopus head, hiding the liquid-covered mating tentacle. “Mother, I dare not covet you.”

“You dare not?” Yu Ying grabbed its mating tentacle and used a little force; the limb struggled in her hand. Her fingers touched the mucus on the suckers and she brought them to her lips, licking the mucus off bit by bit with her tongue.

“You’re already so wet, yet you say you don’t covet me.” Yu Ying’s fingers hooked into the tentacle suckers, and thick, viscous liquid dripped down her fingers. “Tell me, what kind of punishment should a disobedient child receive?”

An octopus is very sensitive; if one tentacle reacts, the others react as well—this is empathy.

It was still immersed in the pleasure of having its mating tentacle swallowed by Mother, and its voice trembled as it answered Yu Ying, “It will be eaten by Mother.”

It looked at Yu Ying with anticipation. To it, being eaten by Mother was an honor, meaning it could enter Mother’s abdomen and merge with her.

Yu Ying saw through its little scheme. “Shall we change the method of punishment today?” Yu Ying’s palm held a fragment of shattered glass; she knew how to make the monster before her disappear.

Its tentacles became exceptionally excited, eight tentacles lurking at Mother’s feet; as long as Mother needed them, these limbs would crawl onto Mother’s body at the first opportunity to serve her.

“No! No! I don’t want to be separated from Mother!” Its limbs writhed madly, its suckers sucking onto Yu Ying’s ankles. The sharp screeching made Yu Ying’s ears ring; it attempted to parasitize Yu Ying’s body.

Yu Ying stepped on its limb with her high heel, squatted down to look it in the eye, and gripped its tentacle. “Good child, Mother taught you that when you do something wrong, you must obediently accept the punishment.”

“You forgot, it was I who taught you how to parasitize.” A pink tentacle emerged from Yu Ying’s spine, the suckers at the tip pressing onto its brain. She didn’t even need to control its brain to complete the parasitization.

“Forget all of this. Forget that you have found me.” Yu Ying did not like disobedient children. The octopus tentacle monster had seen through her identity, which would cause her some trouble.

Yu Ying did not like solving trouble; after all, she was just a fragile human.

There was no punishment deeper than making the octopus tentacle monster forget her again. She knew these eerie monsters too well; ordinary levels of punishment would not make them remember.

Yu Ying’s palm stroked its cheek, easing the pain caused by the parasitization. “Good child, forget everything that happened today. You did not find me.”
