It rained heavily in the second half of the night. The rainwater seeped along the walls of the ancient castle, bringing with it the moldy scent of a damp rainy season. The darkest and most humid place in the entire castle was not the basement, but Sui Lin’s room.
Serpentine creatures prefer walls soaked with rainwater; they can feel a coolness when their snake tails press against them. Sui Lin was not sleeping on the bed. She was sleeping on the floor, which was covered only by a thin layer of gauze. Her massive snake tail was coiled around Yu Ying’s clothing, guarding her “treasure.”
Clothes stained with her mother’s scent were more precious to her than gold or silver jewelry.
Sui Lin unbuttoned her shirt, her fingertips lifting a piece of Yu Ying’s lingerie. She brought the garment to the tip of her nose to breathe in her mother’s scent deeply. Her snake tail arched into a bow shape before dropping heavily onto the floorboards.
With her crimson eyes staring at the ceiling, she blew out a scorching breath from her nasal cavity, biting down on the shoulder strap of the intimate garment. Her mind was filled with memories of the past; her gentle and powerful mother used to use her palms to massage the snake tail for her.
She irritably tossed away Yu Ying’s lingerie. Her mother’s real clothing would be placed into a treasure chest, while the clothes belonging to this “ordinary human” Yu Ying were tossed carelessly into the corner after she had used them.
The scent on Yu Ying’s lingerie had faded significantly; it could no longer satisfy the greedy snake. Sui Lin got up, ruffled the gauze she had been lying on, and crawled to the edge of the balcony, skillfully letting her snake tail down.
The thick, long tail slithered along the castle wall, crawling as usual to the balcony of Yu Ying’s room, using its tip to expertly hook the clothes hung out to dry.
The little snake was still awake, immersed in the joy of bathing with her mother. She heard movement outside the balcony and opened her light pink slit pupils vigilantly, flicking her tongue.
It was that damn bad snake again!
The little snake slithered in an “S” shape under the bed and scurried to the balcony. Seeing that stupid snake’s tail hooked onto her mother’s clothes, she was spinning around in anxiety.
A bright idea struck her: she bit the electric wire of the garment steamer, plugged it into the socket, and pressed the power button. She aimed the steam nozzle directly at Sui Lin’s tail. The scalding steam sprayed onto Sui Lin’s tail, causing her to lash out in impatience.
The little snake snapped the wire and hid in the laundry basket, her light pink pupils fixed on Sui Lin’s tail. Sui Lin had not expected the little snake to retaliate intentionally, and she reached her tail out toward the clothes rack again.
Oh no! Her mother’s clothes were about to be stolen again! The little snake crawled out of the laundry basket and saw the trash can next to the balcony. Since Sui Lin loved stealing her mother’s clothes so much, she would let her steal the trash instead.
The little snake’s tail curled around the trash in the bin—beverage cans, glass jars, smelly banana peels, and crumpled paper—and handed them to Sui Lin.
Sui Lin was undeterred. She had stolen them so many times, so why was she stealing a pile of garbage today?
The little snake’s pupils remained fixed on that restless snake tail. She dragged her mother’s nightgown past Sui Lin’s tail, intentionally leading the snake tail toward the clothes rack.
The clothes rack could not bear the weight of Sui Lin’s tail and collapsed instantly with a loud crash. Having succeeded, the little snake wiggled her tail and crawled back to Yu Ying’s side.
Hearing the noise, Yu Ying opened her eyes abruptly, waking up instantly. She reached for the dagger under her pillow and shuffled toward the balcony in her slippers.
Pushing open the balcony door, she saw no sign of any snake tail or wriggling tentacles. A red bra hung in mid-air, fluttering in the night breeze.
Yu Ying: “…”
She rubbed her eyes and yawned, thinking she hadn’t rested well and was hallucinating again. She decided that once she finished filming the first episode of the dating show, she needed to find a psychiatrist to treat her illness properly.
Suddenly, Yu Ying felt dizzy, and black mist appeared in the whites of her eyes. Her secondary personality took control.
She looked gloomily at the tip of that stupid snake’s tail. “Disobedient children will be punished, and obedient children will be rewarded.”
Yu Ying exuded a powerful, eerie energy, invading the little snake’s brain and lulling her into a deep sleep. Her warm fingers stroked the little snake’s head.
“Sleep, my good child.”
Yu Ying changed into a leather outfit made of a special material—a material capable of insulating against the icy touch of snake skin. She zipped it up, looked at herself in the mirror with an indifferent expression, and stroked her red lips in the reflection.
“My dear, you are too weak. But I will help you solve everything, and by the way, I’ll help you teach that disobedient child a lesson.” Yu Ying’s black hair began to grow, the ends reaching her knees. Her full chest strained against the tight leather outfit, and the zipper was pulled up to the collar.
She touched her neck as if to soothe the emotions of the other person within her. Scales crawled over her neck; the left side of her face was covered in scale patterns, her left eye transformed into a black slit pupil, while the right side remained Yu Ying’s face, her right eye filled with black mist.
Her legs fused together, the thighs covered by layers of hard, sturdy scales, transforming into a thick black python tail. The underside of the tail was pure white, with neatly arranged long, horizontal lines dividing the abdomen into segments, resembling human abdominal mermaid lines.
“My dear, sleep peacefully inside me. I will handle all the problems for you.” Yu Ying pulled out a lipstick, applied it to her lips, and pursed them slightly. She put on a half-mask to cover the human face on the left side.
From this moment on, she was no longer a fragile human, but a deep-sea python awakening. She was going to teach that disobedient child a lesson.
At the same time, Sui Lin was sound asleep, hugging Yu Ying’s clothing. Her high-bridged nose was buried in the intimate garment, breathing in the scent, her snake tail rubbing against the thin garment beneath her, causing it to wrinkle.
Sui Lin was having an unspeakable dream, one where a black snake tail and a silvery-white snake tail were entwined…
She belonged entirely to her mother.
Sui Lin was completely unaware of the danger quietly descending upon her. Yu Ying’s massive snake shadow loomed over Sui Lin, her eyelashes lowered as she looked down at the girl.
Sui Lin lifted the gauze with her fingertips, whispering her mother’s name repeatedly in a suggestive tone, using the gauze to cover the cloaca of her snake tail. This movement was the same as a human hugging a blanket while sleeping.
“Mother, Mother, I miss you so much.”
A tentacle with sticky suction cups extended from Yu Ying’s spine, pressing against Sui Lin’s forehead. With just one second, she could control Sui Lin’s brain.
Sui Lin was more convenient to control than other bizarre creatures. This snake’s head was filled only with “yellow” (lewd) thoughts; she usually only thought about how to covet her mother and have physical contact with her. Unlike other monsters, she did not derive other ideas regarding her mother.
Yu Ying’s fingertips lifted the gauze covering the snake tail. Feeling a sense of emptiness, Sui Lin opened her eyes blurrily, thinking she was in a dream within a dream, and hesitantly pressed her cheek against her mother’s palm.
“Mother, I miss you so much.”
Sui Lin looked up at her mother. This was the first time she had seen her mother in human form with a snake tail. She stroked the scales of her mother’s tail; they were stiff and overly realistic. If this were only a dream, Sui Lin would never want to wake up.
Her mother’s ink-like long hair hung behind her back. Her upper body was wrapped in black leather, her tall chest supporting the outfit, the metal zipper stuck in the gap. The leather accentuated her waistline, and her lower body was the snake tail Sui Lin had longed for.
Sui Lin peeked at her mother with her crimson eyes. Her mother wore a black iron mask over half her face, while the other half of her yellowish-black skin was covered in scale patterns.
Her mother was too sexy, like a matriarch of an ancient matrilineal clan. She wanted to see her mother wear a leopard-print dress, and then personally help her mother take it off.
Yu Ying noticed the greedy gaze Sui Lin was casting at her. Her fingertips lifted Sui Lin’s chin, her black-mist pupils fixed on Sui Lin’s crimson eyes. “Don’t stare at me with those damp, gloomy eyes.”
“Are you coveting me?” Yu Ying squatted down, her palm pressing on the top of Sui Lin’s head, stroking downward. Her scorching palm pressed against the back of Sui Lin’s neck, and she unzipped the leather suit with one hand.
She didn’t give Sui Lin time to think. She pressed the back of Sui Lin’s neck against her soft chest. Sui Lin didn’t dare to flick her tongue to lick her; she only buried her face in her mother’s collarbone, breathing in the fragrance deeply.
“Does it smell good?” Yu Ying asked Sui Lin in a wicked tone. Her warmth still lingered on Sui Lin’s cheek. She caught sight of a lipstick stain on her chest and wiped it away with her thumb, looking disgusted.
“Sui Lin, answer me.”
Yu Ying gripped Sui Lin’s chin, forcing her to look up and meet her eyes. “Do you want to smell it again?”
Sui Lin caught a glimpse of the anger on Yu Ying’s face. She knew her mother was punishing her; she dared not go crazy with pleasure in front of her mother.
Her mother’s chest was fragrant and soft, possessing a special, peculiar body scent that left her immersed, unable to extricate herself. She lowered her head and quietly swallowed her saliva. “Mother, I dare not covet you.”
Yu Ying was a little tired. She sat in a mahogany chair, her index finger, adorned with a snake ring, tapping lightly on the armrest. She lifted Sui Lin’s chin with the tip of her tail and raised an eyebrow. “You dare not? Then who wrote these lewd fanfictions?”
“Since it has nothing to do with you, then I will burn them for you.” Yu Ying picked up the books on the nightstand. The titles on the covers were unbearable, every one of them being the type of content strictly censored on the Green River (Jinjiang) website, which would be completely locked if posted there.
“The Forced Entrance to the Lair,” “Beast Collection: Her and Her Mother,” “The Abyss Python and the Nights with Her Beloved Snake.”
Facing her mother, Sui Lin still possessed a sliver of shame. She hadn’t expected her bedtime reading material to be discovered by her mother. She crawled to the side of her mother’s snake tail and hugged it, begging.
“Mother, I only missed you too much, that is why I did such a thing. I promise I will never dare to do it again.”
Sui Lin’s attitude was sincere, her eyes reddening as she squeezed out a few tears. She looked pitiful, swearing to the heavens with raised fingers, “If there is half a lie in what I say, let me never receive your affection for the rest of my life.”
Yu Ying was soft-hearted toward her children; whenever they cried, her heart softened, and she wanted to give them the world. But as their mother, if a bad child was disobedient, they naturally had to be properly disciplined.
If there was a first time, there would be a second; if there was a second, there would be countless times. She would not allow a child who defied her commands to exist.
“You missed me, so you had to hug human clothes to sniff them?”
Sui Lin scrambled to hide the underwear. “Mother, I… I can explain.”
“Explain what?” Yu Ying grabbed the collar of her shirt, her other fingertips gliding across the back of Sui Lin’s fragile neck, causing her to shiver. “Explain how you hugged human clothes and rubbed against them?”
Yu Ying grabbed the thin garment and threw it into Sui Lin’s face. The pink cloth covered Sui Lin’s entire face.
“Sui Lin, you have disappointed me too much.”
Yu Ying held a special whip in her palm. She pressed the whip against Sui Lin’s chin, and her snake tail coiled around Sui Lin’s waist, slowly tightening, watching the flush rise on Sui Lin’s face.
“Sui Lin, I said that children who make mistakes must be punished. Do you remember?” Yu Ying held the whip and struck it against her palm. She couldn’t bear to hurt Sui Lin. Every inch of Sui Lin’s skin was something she had carefully nurtured; how could she bear to harm her?
Yu Ying stood up and pulled down the zipper of her leather suit. Her long black hair hung down by her shoulders. She was wearing only a leopard-print bra underneath—the style Sui Lin liked best.
She chose a book she liked and threw it at Sui Lin’s face. The whip lifted Sui Lin’s chin. “Let’s try a different method of punishment. Don’t you like creating? Then read your own creations out loud with emotion.”
“If I am not satisfied, you know what the consequences will be.”
Sui Lin, with a flushed face, opened the book, her eyelashes trembling as she looked up at her mother. “I am willing to accept all of Mother’s punishments.”
It would be better if you were harder, let me remember this day deeply. Sui Lin thought darkly, feeling that being punished by her mother would only make her feel…
