On Monday morning, Zhu Xing walked into the classroom right as the class bell rang.

The classroom was a bit noisy. Seeing Zhu Xing walk in, it suddenly grew quiet. The students secretly glanced at him, whispering in groups of three or five.

They kept looking back and forth between Zhu Xing, Lin Yu, and Ying Chi.Full novel: After the Simp Slapped Back, the Main God Kissed Him — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Zhu Xing thought to himself that their necks must be well-trained to be able to swivel like that.

Zhu Xing took his seat. His deskmate next to him was sound asleep, sprawled across the desk.

Lin Yu sat near the front of the classroom, and his original deskmate had long been chased away to Ying Chi’s former seat.

Lin Yu kept his head down in silence, while Ying Chi beside him had just been talking to him intimately.

Because of Zhu Xing’s sudden appearance, Ying Chi repeatedly glanced back at Zhu Xing. The warning look in his eyes made Zhu Xing find it somewhat amusing.

The teacher was nowhere to be found. Since the three figures at the center of attention were all quiet, the whispering classmates grew even bolder, making the room as noisy as a vegetable market.

“What are you looking at? If you have something to say, come ask me directly.” As soon as he finished speaking, Zhu Xing slapped his palm down on the desk, the sudden sting causing his face to twitch.

The effect, however, was immediate, and the other classmates finally shut their mouths, not daring to speak anymore.

Lin Yu cautiously glanced back at Zhu Xing, but was frightened by the coldness in Zhu Xing’s eyes and quickly turned his head back, once again provoking a look of dissatisfaction from Ying Chi.

Zhu Xing rolled his eyes at Ying Chi. Ying Chi looked somewhat surprised, stared at Zhu Xing for a few seconds, and then turned away, ignoring him.

Just as Zhu Xing opened his textbook, he noticed his deskmate staring at him expressionlessly.

When he sat down earlier, Zhu Xing hadn’t paid attention to him because he was slumped over the desk.

Only upon raising his head did he realize that this deskmate was actually quite good-looking. He had a high bridge of the nose and eye sockets as deep-set as those rarely seen in Asians. His pupils were very light in color, but Zhu Xing’s attention was drawn to his lips: thin, yet sexy. Perhaps due to good circulation, they were redder than those of ordinary people.

Noticing Zhu Xing’s gaze, Qu Qingyu clicked his tongue with a hint of impatience and laid his head back down to continue sleeping.

Zhu Xing ignored the two protagonists in front and instead asked the system, [“Who is this handsome guy? Why is his temper so edgy?”]

[“Host, please wait a moment, let me check.”]

[“Host, he is the villain, Qu Qingyu.”]

[“He is Qu Qingyu?”]

Zhu Xing recalled the introduction from the book.

Qu Qingyu was the second young master of the Qu family, but he had been switched at birth by a family nanny. Therefore, he lived in his nanny’s distant relative’s home until he was 16 years old. That year, because his adoptive father fell ill and his mother couldn’t be reached, he went to City A to look for people and happened to run into Qu Xiangshan, the head of the Qu family. Remembering a facial resemblance to his wife and considering his youngest son’s behavior, which didn’t resemble the Qu family at all, this led to a massive drama of the true and fake young masters.

In the original book, Qu Qingyu’s first 16 years were extremely difficult. Living under someone else’s roof, he had to take care of a sick adoptive father.

This caused his mental state to have ongoing issues. After returning to the family and gaining power and status, his personality became even more vicious and uninhibited.

As the saying goes, two tigers cannot share a mountain, so Ying Chi, who was in the same class, became a thorn in his side.

At first, he just picked petty fights, but after Lin Yu and Ying Chi established their relationship, he was no longer satisfied with such minor things and wanted to snatch Lin Yu away as well. However, being a villain meant he couldn’t win a beauty’s heart, and he eventually fell genuinely in love with Lin Yu.

The final ending was that he drove a car to crash into Ying Chi on a rainy night. He missed the target, sent himself to the police station instead, and dragged the Qu family’s vitality down severely, while the Zhu family, due to the original owner constantly making a spectacle of himself and repeatedly getting his face slapped, met their downfall.

In the end, among the three major wealthy families of City A, the Ying family soared upward, while the Zhu and Qu families vanished into obscurity.

Listening to the system’s summary, Zhu Xing thought to himself, [“What a waste.”]

The system didn’t understand what Zhu Xing meant by “what a waste” and simply urged him to complete the mission quickly.

Zhu Xing looked at the upcoming plot.

“Zhu Xing is furious; he has long since been unable to stand this green tea bitch who seduces Ah Chi.”

“Zhu Xing corners Lin Yu in the locker room and gives him a slap.”

[“I’m all set to give him a proper slap.”] Zhu Xing was full of confidence.

[520] 520 was somewhat used to Zhu Xing’s bizarre train of thought. Was a slap really the main point here? The main point was Ying Chi rescuing the beauty as a hero!

During afternoon physical education class, Zhu Xing saw Lin Yu walk into the locker room and followed him while nobody was paying attention.

After turning two corners, he saw two rows of locker rooms. Some doors were open because they were unoccupied.

Zhu Xing took a look: out of the 10 total locker rooms across the two rows, only one door was locked. It seemed Lin Yu was in that one.

Fumbling out the key provided by the system, Zhu Xing deliberately waited at the door for a little while. After all, he didn’t want to push open the door and see things he shouldn’t see.

After about two minutes, figuring the timing was just about right, Zhu Xing inserted the key into the keyhole and cautiously pushed the door open.

Meanwhile, someone inside the room was present.

[520]

Qu Qingyu had just finished changing his clothes when he heard rustling sounds at the lock. He never expected that there would still be thieves coming to the locker room to steal things in this day and age.

Qu Qingyu crossed his arms and impatiently looked at the “thief” picking the lock.

Zhu Xing only felt the door swing open to reveal a massive shadow. Since when was Lin Yu built this large?

“!” Zhu Xing widened his eyes as he looked at Qu Qingyu right in front of him, and Qu Qingyu hadn’t expected the lock-picker to be Zhu Xing.

“I didn’t expect you to have this kind of hobby.” Qu Qingyu wore a sarcastic look, walking past Zhu Xing as if he wanted to leave.

Zhu Xing hurriedly grabbed Qu Qingyu’s hand and shut the door along the way.

As he grabbed the hand, he could only feel how scorching hot Qu Qingyu’s palm was. Qu Qingyu paused his steps and frowned at him, prompting Zhu Xing to hastily let go.

Zhu Xing felt he couldn’t just let Qu Qingyu leave like this. “You can’t tell anyone about what happened today!” If this got out, Zhu Xing felt he would lose all face.

Plot-driven face-slaps were a matter of the plot, but if a ridiculous blunder happened, it was his own face on the line.

“Tell what to anyone? That the Second Young Master Zhu likes to peek at people changing clothes?”

“Who’s peeking at changing clothes? I wasn’t looking for you. No, wait, I didn’t mean to peek at people changing clothes! Besides, why would a grown man like you lock the door?”

Zhu Xing felt somewhat embarrassed and annoyed. Once he finished this plot point, he would definitely curse out 250. It clearly said the plot scene took place right here, so why was Qu Qingyu inside when he opened the door?

“Hoh, if I locked the door, didn’t it still fail to keep you out?” Zhu Xing was left completely speechless by Qu Qingyu’s single sentence.

“Anyway, don’t go talking nonsense, or else I will say… I will say your figure is terrible, and you are very small.”

Qu Qingyu was laughed out of anger. He leaned closer to Zhu Xing and said, “Go ahead and try.”

Zhu Xing didn’t dare to ask whether this “try” meant trying to tell people or something else entirely.

When he brushed against Qu Qingyu’s body, the body heat he felt was very high, yet the aura emanating from him carried a biting chill. This contradictory sensation caused Zhu Xing to involuntarily steal several sideways glances at him.

Qu Qingyu stood at a full 190 centimeters tall, while Zhu Xing hadn’t even reached 180. To be exact, he was only 178.

Qu Qingyu looked at the person in front of him whose face was faintly flushed. Out of embarrassment, the youth kept biting his lip and stealing glances at him.

So timid, yet he still dared to threaten him.

Seeing that his threats were useless, Zhu Xing tried to speak nicely instead. “You!” Before he could finish his words,

a sudden knocking sound echoed from outside the door.
