Yu Qinghan’s gaze toward his little disciple instantly turned profound and meaningful. After a long moment, he slowly spoke, “Your sincerity… Master already understands.”

“As long as Shizun understands!” Wen Xu curved his eyes into a bright, brilliant smile, extending his arm a bit further as he asked softly, “Won’t Shizun have a taste? It is truly delicious. This one is lychee-flavored sweet without being cloying! Besides, my arm is almost getting sore from holding it out.”

Wen Xu’s arm was genuinely growing sore, but since it wasn’t easy to pull it back, he could only phrase it this way.Full novel: After Transmigrating into a Book, I Became the Precious Palm Apple of the Villain Master — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Yet, this final sentence fell upon Yu Qinghan’s ears and transformed into coquettish teasing, feeling as though a little kitten were brushing the tip of its tail against his palm soft, furry, and ticklish.

Looking into his little disciple’s sparkling eyes, Yu Qinghan leaned forward slightly, parted his lips, and took a bite. After chewing a couple of times, he slowly nodded and said, “The taste is indeed quite good. Sweet, but not cloying.”

Just like the person who brought the pastry sweet in appearance, and whose playful pleading didn’t feel affected in the slightest.

Hearing Yu Qinghan’s words, Wen Xu let out an inner sigh of relief. Fortunately, Yu Qinghan didn’t dislike it; judging by his usual demeanor, he hadn’t seemed like someone who enjoyed sweets.

“As long as Shizun likes it. I originally thought Shizun wouldn’t care for sweet treats. In that case, whenever Senior Brother Xiuzhu brings me delicious food in the future, I will bring it all over for Shizun to try!”

Yu Qinghan raised an eyebrow, suddenly feeling a twinge of sympathy for his third disciple. “If the third one knew you were taking the delicious treats he went out of his way to buy and regifting them to someone else, he would likely be heartbroken.”

Indeed, he didn’t care much for sweets or more accurately, he ate very little of any food whatsoever. Given his level of cultivation, he wouldn’t starve to death even without eating or drinking for ages.

He simply couldn’t bear to refuse the little fellow, that was all.

Wen Xu shook his head and asserted with absolute certainty, “He wouldn’t! Senior Brother Xiuzhu is so kind; he certainly wouldn’t mind such a minor matter. Besides, Shizun isn’t just ‘someone else’ one day as a master, a father for life! We are all one family, and family members don’t need to stand on such ceremony!”

Family…

Yu Qinghan’s thoughts drifted back to memories of the happiest and most joyful period of his life, though unfortunately, it had been far too fleeting, leaving him all alone and solitary.

Even after founding the Wuji Sect, taking on several disciples, and receiving the support of countless people, he still found everything cold and desolate.

The disciples within the sect looked upon him with awe and dread, while his own disciples remained strictly respectful, harboring fear and never daring to cross any boundaries.

Even his little disciple before him had previously been too timid to speak much with him, yet now…

Seeing that Yu Qinghan had no intention of eating the remaining half of the piece, Wen Xu consumed it himself without a second thought. As he swallowed it down, the tips of his rosy, tender tongue accidentally brushed lightly against his fair fingers.

This sight made Yu Qinghan’s gaze darken.

To think that the Spring Breeze concocted by the Xuanshuang Sect possessed such side effects turning a shy, bashful, introverted person into this sort of state.

The little white rabbit was practically transforming into a little fox, his every word and action carrying an extreme temptation.

After swallowing the pastry in his mouth, Wen Xu licked his sugar-coated fingers, then raised his eyes to meet Yu Qinghan’s deep, dark gaze.

He blinked, tilting his head slightly. “Shizun?”

Yu Qinghan stared for a moment at Wen Xu’s sugar-speckled lips before his gaze shifted down to those moistened, glossy, rounded fingers.

Taken aback for a second, Wen Xu’s mind raced as a thought suddenly occurred to him, prompting him to blurt out, “Apologies, Shizun! This disciple thought you didn’t want to eat anymore, which is why I arbitrarily ate that remaining half. There are still several pieces right here they are all for Shizun!”

Yu Qinghan’s slender, narrow eyes narrowed slightly, and he asked in a chilling tone, “You ate that without a second thought even though it had been bitten by Master. Do you act like this with food bitten by others as well?”

“Er…” Wen Xu’s brain lagged for a moment as the sound of favorability -5 suddenly chimed in his head, instantly waking him right up.

Disregarding everything else, he hurriedly scrambled to say whatever would please the other: “Of course not! Food bitten by other people is covered in saliva—how could this disciple possibly eat it again?! But Shizun is not just anyone; Shizun is the person this disciple admires and respects the most!”

Yu Qinghan: “So you are quite willing to eat Master’s saliva?”

Wen Xu: “…”

Why did those words sound so strange? Eating saliva carried such strong ambiguity! If anyone were to overhear this, they would think they were engaging in some unspeakable activity!

“That is not what this disciple meant! This disciple just… just spoke without thinking!” Realizing he couldn’t explain himself clearly, Wen Xu decided he needed to change the subject immediately. He flashed Yu Qinghan an obedient, winsome smile. “Shizun, let’s not talk about this anymore. Shall this disciple massage your shoulders?”

Staring at him for a moment longer, Yu Qinghan nodded.

Wen Xu stood up, walked around behind Yu Qinghan, crossed his hands, cracked his knuckles, and began massaging his shoulders.

However, his strength was far too small, lacking any real force whatsoever, which naturally led to the following conversation:

“Ah-Xu, use a bit more strength. Your current pressure feels no different from a tickle to Master.”

“Ah-Xu, the pressure is too light. Knead harder.”

“Ah-Xu, the pressure…”

After a few repeats of this, Wen Xu decisively chose to give up. Wearing a strained smile, he offered, “Shizun, how about this disciple massages your legs instead? That doesn’t require quite as much brute strength!”

Without a word, Yu Qinghan stood up, walked over to another recliner, stretched out flat upon it, and extended his legs straight.

“Get to it.”

That tone and voice inevitably brought scenes from his dream back into Wen Xu’s mind, causing him to shiver involuntarily.

Terrifying, simply too terrifying. Fortunately, he didn’t have the chance to face that goddess here.

Kneeling directly beside Yu Qinghan’s legs, Wen Xu began to massage them.

Yu Qinghan was tall, meaning his legs were naturally long, perfectly straight, and well-muscled unlike his own legs, which were entirely soft flesh when pressed.

This time, Wen Xu controlled his strength exceptionally well, and Yu Qinghan no longer complained that it was too light. Instead, he closed his eyes, crossed his hands over his abdomen, and let his white silk sleeves drape gracefully down to the floor.

With his brow relaxed and his expression peaceful, he looked thoroughly relaxed.

Encouraged, Wen Xu put even more effort into the leg massage. Although his fingers ached and his knees hurt from kneeling on the floor, the moment he heard the prompt in his head indicating that his favorability points had bounced back up, he instantly felt all his toil and fatigue were completely worth it.

I’m kneading, I’m kneading, I’m kneading away!

Warm sunlight streamed in through the open window, casting a golden glow across the floor. A gentle breeze carried in a few pink peach blossom petals, which fluttered down and lightly landed upon Yu Qinghan’s jade-like, handsome face.

Wen Xu paused, gazing at him in a daze. His clear, pure dark pupils were filled with awe, and his hand movements involuntarily slowed down, growing much lighter.

At that exact moment, Yu Qinghan suddenly opened his eyes, raised his arm, pinched the petal between his slender fingers, and fixed his chilly, piercing gaze straight upon Wen Xu.

“Is Master really that good-looking? It has you staring so spellbound that you even forgot to massage my legs.”
