The car finally stopped in front of a five-star hotel. Through the window, Ji Xixing could see its European castle style architecture, the towering entrance hall, and the carved doors. A red carpet stretched all the way down the steps, while bodyguards stood on both sides of the main entrance.
Gu Wangxuan handed her a room card. “Stay here for now. I still have something to take care of. Call me if you need anything.”
“The phone number is on the room card.” He flipped it over, revealing a string of digits.
Ji Xixing did not refuse his kindness and took it with a smile. “Thank you, Mr. Gu.”
She opened the car door and had just placed one foot on the ground when a group of men in black suddenly rushed over and surrounded the half-open door.
They were clearly professionally trained private bodyguards, each wearing a black suit with a “Ji” family badge pinned to their chest.
The smile on Ji Xixing’s face froze. She had not expected Ji Lifeng to go this far just to force her back and make her apologize to Cheng Nishang.

The man immediately looked troubled.
