“Little cutie, what’s your name? I can’t keep calling you Little Cutie forever, can I?”

Lin Ruan was in an excellent mood, and she unconsciously started teasing the little spirit. Watching the arrogant little baby with his slightly protruding belly grow bashful, rubbing his chubby little feet together left and right, she found him unbearably adorable. Did this mean she could finally experience the joy of raising a baby too?

“Um, well, I don’t want you to call me Sister, I want you to be my mommy. Can I call you Mommy? I don’t have a name yet either, so Mommy, can you give me one? And can I have another one of those sweet lollipops? I’ll become really powerful in the future!”Full novel: After Transmigrating into the Apocalypse; She Was Spoiled Rotten by a Scheming Older Man — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Lin Ruan became a mother without any pain or effort. “Then Mommy will call you Tuanzi. Little Dumpling, aren’t you adorable?”

I’m only a sophomore in college, and I already have a child. I’ll never have to raise a baby through the internet again! (≧∇≦)/

Inside the Botanical Space, there was only endless black soil. The usable area was currently only about the size of half a basketball court, so it seemed she needed to collect plants as quickly as possible to expand the space, and then empty out the warehouses!

Plants were something she was familiar with. With a silent thought, she left the space and returned to the outside world. Lying on the soft bed, Lin Ruan couldn’t help smiling as she happily drifted off to sleep.

Early the next morning, Lin Ruan took a pair of pruning shears and headed toward the garden. As she walked, she asked Tuanzi about the requirements. She only needed to collect plant branches, while herbaceous plants required some plant tissues or organs. She could place them in the Botanical Space using her thoughts, and the space would arrange them automatically. After some time, they would grow into complete plants.

Snow willow, butterfly bush, sage, mountain peach blossoms, roses, hostas, Chinese wingnut trees, begonias… She even placed entire plants from the glass greenhouse directly into the space.

Lin Ruan made a complete tour of the garden. The Botanical Space expanded to ten times its original size, leaving her utterly shocked.

Stockpiling supplies! With a cheat ability, she was truly invincible! Ahhhhh, Little Dumpling, Mommy will take you flying. We’ll eat all the best food and live the good life!

“Wow, Mommy, really? Baby hasn’t eaten any food from outside before! Since I’m so powerful, I want to eat a feast right now!” The green leaf on top of Tuanzi’s head instantly stood upright. His round eyes remained fixed on Lin Ruan outside the space, and with his little hands clasped behind his back, he deliberately put on an overbearing expression as he spoke.

“Since my Tuanzi baby asked for it, Mommy of course has to satisfy you!”

Tuanzi instantly became bashful, his little face turning bright red. Mommy called me her baby! Mommy is going to give me a feast! Hehehe, I’m a man, so I have to eat lots and lots, then protect Mommy! Mm! That’s it!

“Tuanzi, can you leave the space?”

Lin Ruan really wanted to hold Tuanzi in her arms and rub his little cheeks. The moment she finished speaking, a dent appeared on the sofa, and the fresh and tender little dumpling actually appeared outside the space. Lin Ruan was extremely surprised that Tuanzi could come out without bringing his main body with him. However, the little green leaf sticking up from his head had to be covered.

Lin Ruan picked Tuanzi up and excitedly rubbed him.

“Mommy, isn’t Tuanzi very cute?” the little spirit asked bashfully, putting on an arrogant act.

Cute he certainly was, but he was way too adorable for her to handle. How could he just wear a little bellyband like that? Although he looked only about a year and a half old.

Remembering that she still had plenty of things to sell, Lin Ruan hurriedly took Little Dumpling and left the house. On the way, she stopped by B University to complete her leave of absence. Her counselor was quite puzzled. How could a student who had always been obedient and well behaved, with excellent grades, suddenly decide to take a leave of absence?

“Teacher, to be honest, this is my son. You know that both my parents have passed away, and I simply don’t have the energy to continue supporting my studies…”

Lin Ruan made up the lie without the slightest hesitation. It sounded full of holes, but there was no questioning the conviction with which she delivered it. Relying on that sheer audacity, within a few days, the entire B University knew that the Lin Family’s eldest daughter had a child out of wedlock and had even taken a leave of absence!

Li Yiyao, that Little White Lotus, took the opportunity to spread rumors about Lin Ruan’s private life, claiming that Zhao Mingcheng had dumped Lin Ruan before getting together with her…

Of course, Lin Ruan knew nothing about the consequences of this chain of events, or rather, she simply didn’t care. The apocalypse was coming, so who cared what a bunch of irrelevant people thought?

Lin Ruan carried Tuanzi and swaggered out of the university gate, then drove yesterday’s Hummer toward several warehouses. When she arrived at the warehouse in the suburbs, she found that because the location was rather remote, the facilities were not particularly complete, but there were very few people around. If someone hadn’t recommended it to her, she might not have found such a suitable transit station herself!

Lin Ruan was extremely satisfied. She took out the spare key and opened the warehouse door. Inside were food staples, vegetables, fruits, milk, and all kinds of other ingredients, filling the warehouse to the brim.

Sure enough, spending more money meant greater speed. The warehouse had been filled within a single day. According to the young man who handled the purchasing, there were two thousand bags of each type of staple food, two thousand baskets of each common fruit and vegetable on the market, and five hundred cases of milk. Because of the expiration dates, the young man hadn’t stocked up on more.

Of course, the Botanical Space would maintain food in its optimal condition, so Lin Ruan didn’t need to worry about that problem at all.

With the goods and payment settled, it had truly been a pleasant hiring experience. Lin Ruan waved her hand and emptied the entire warehouse into the space. Looking at the various foods neatly sorted inside, she let out a long sigh of relief. At last, she felt reassured.

Tuanzi had never seen anything from outside the space before. It was as though the space had been waiting specifically for Lin Ruan, with everything inside remaining in its original state. Therefore, ever since Little Dumpling came out, his little head had never stopped turning as he looked here and there, occasionally asking Mommy, “What is this? Can I eat it? Is it tasty?”

One big foodie with one little foodie in tow, Lin Ruan couldn’t help laughing. She pinched Tuanzi’s chubby little cheek.

“Little Tuanzi, we still have lots of things to collect. How about Mommy taking you out for a feast tonight?”

Tuanzi answered very decisively as soon as he heard there would be delicious food. His motivation to work became even stronger. The world was already showing signs of unrest, and he wanted to collect supplies with Mommy so they wouldn’t have anything to eat later.

Lin Ruan took Tuanzi to the snack street and went from one shop to another, buying five hundred portions of every kind of street food she could find, including malatang, red-date zenggao, fried chicken family buckets, Peking roast duck, grilled cold noodles, crayfish, and more. Everything was to be delivered to the Lin Family villa.

The shopkeepers were all stunned. Was this for a company annual banquet? Hadn’t she also said that she wanted to donate to a welfare home?

Why were they worrying about that?

This purchase had caused quite a stir, so she would have to be more careful from now on. Maybe it would be better to order some things through delivery apps?

Lin Ruan opened a food delivery app and ordered five hundred portions of various signature dishes from several high-end restaurants the original owner frequently visited.

Naturally, these meals couldn’t all be delivered to the villa that very day. After coordinating with the restaurants, the deliveries continued to arrive at the Lin Family villa over the course of two weeks before things finally settled down.

Lin Ruan weighed Tuanzi in her arms as she walked into Tiansheng Mall and headed to the mother-and-baby section. The customer service girls were delighted when they saw Tuanzi. Baby bedding, bottles, strollers, clothes, diapers, formula, and basically everything the store carried was swept into Lin Ruan’s shopping cart.

“There’s no helping it. There are lots of children in my family, and my best friend is pregnant too, so I have to buy more.”

As soon as the girls heard that, they felt like money was waving at them, so they didn’t think too much about it and happily wrote down the delivery address.

When she went down to the men’s clothing section, Lin Ruan thought she might as well buy some clothes too. What if she found a boyfriend in the apocalypse? She was already alone, after all, so she should still find someone to keep her company!

She bought a hundred or so sets of every size in various styles of casual clothing, suits, and more. She then simply placed orders with Chanel, Gucci, and several other well-known fashion brands for a hundred sets each of couple outfits, parent-child outfits, and more.

After including the small villa in the suburbs and all the other miscellaneous expenses, she still had four billion yuan left in her account…

Lin Ruan calculated how long it would take for all the mobile supplies to arrive and be placed into the space. Just then, she saw Little Dumpling wearing the dinosaur one-piece outfit she had just bought, complete with a hood, while holding a strawberry-flavored ice cream cone. His eyes had narrowed happily into crescents.
