Liddy stayed to eat some food, but after staying there for about 30 minutes, still no one showed up.

Judging by this, no one should be coming today.

Liddy said goodbye to Lu sheepishly and drove home.Full novel: Alantia — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

After some conversation with her, the previously confused thoughts finally calmed down.

While driving, he picked up the black card, glanced over the number on it, and decided to make a call for it later.

At this moment, a long traffic jam appeared ahead, and there were obvious red and blue lights shining in the front.

Several Black Guard personnel could also be seen working on the road.

This is a Black Guard interception check.

Lidi looked at the time, it was almost 10 o’clock.

It seems that these Black Guards are catching those beastman who drive under the influence.

Fortunately, the car in front of me passed after just asking for a few words, so I got to proceed forward quickly.

But the result was unfortunate.

One of the Black Guards signaled him to pull over.

Apparently he wanted to “entertain” him alone.

“Tsk…” He sighed almost out of habit and pulled over.

Before the engine was completely shut down, the car window was knocked twice.

Lidi had no choice but to press the window down.

It was a dark night, and the area where Lidi was currently located was not considered a main street.

The lights here appear even dimmer, adding a terrifying black shadow to the Black Guard’s mask.

“Do you have a chip or ID?” The tone is brief and there is no unnecessary explanation.

Lidi slowly raised his hand, deliberately placing it where the black guard could see it clearly, and then slowly extended his right hand to him.

“I have a chip.” No big moves, it’s lessons learned.

The black guard grabbed a scanner and scanned Lidi’s right hand.

Soon all of his information was presented into the black guard’s sight.

From the perspective of the Black Guard, his information was displayed in a 3D projection.

This was an insignificant function of their mask.

“Lidi, Red Fox Clan.” The black guard glanced at him, his eyes paused on his face for a second and then looked back at the red mark in the information.

“Level Two Dangerous Entity” Hearing the black guard reveal his secret, Lidi replied with a forced smile in awe.

“I was ignorant when I was young, it was just an accident.” The Black Guard did not answer, and even glanced at the rear compartment through the see-through function of the mask.

“What are you doing driving around here alone at this late hour?” “Just to get home.” “From where?” “Keelung City.” “That’s quite a distance.” The black guard nodded and suddenly the conversation shifted.

“This road is not your shortest route.” Lidi paused for a moment, it was obvious that the black guard was looking for trouble.

“It’s just that this road is smoother.” “What kind of smoother?” The problems started to become endless.

Lidi looked at the black guard and did not answer immediately.

The atmosphere became tense little by little.

“Please get out of the car.” “Look, I’m just trying to get back home…” “I said GET OUT of the car.” The black guard tone became more serious, and another black guard came to the side.

Lidi knew that the black guard was deliberately making things difficult for him, but he is almost home.

He thought in his mind that it would be better to have one less problem than one more, so he had no choice but to swallow his anger.

After Lidi got out of the car, he raised his hands to show that he didn’t have anything in his hand.

“What’s wrong with this guy?” Another Black Guard who just walked over asked the Black Guard.

“His information is in red” After hearing his answer, the other Black Guard remained silent for a second.

“Don’t overdo it.” After saying that, he turned around to deal with the problem on the other side, leaving only Lidi and the black guard who was making things difficult for him.

The anger within Lidi kept rising, but he still managed to hold it back.

He had to hold it back.

He must hold it back.

The Black Guard approached slowly, not in a hurry, but with a deliberately elongated sense of oppression.

He walked around Lidi as if he was looking at an item.

“Keep your hands up.” The tone was cold, but there was no room for disobedience.

Lidi kept his hands raised, and his arm muscles were slightly numb.

The night wind blew through his fur, making him shiver.

The Black Guard stopped in front of him, bowing his head slightly.

“A person with a record like yours has a high chance of reoffending.” Lidi didn’t answer.

“Injury record, driving at night, unusual route, being alone.” The black guard speaks each sentence one by one, as if piecing together a conclusion.

“Do you think this combination is normal?” Lidi’s eyes were slightly sunken, but he kept smiling.

“Well I was never good at solving puzzles, I don’t know the answer to that.” The voice is not loud, but the attitude is good and quite humoring.

Coupled with his somewhat stiff smile, it only makes the black guard feel amused.

Suddenly the black guard reached out and patted him.

It’s not an attack, it’s an inspection.

From shoulders to waist and back.

The movements are rough and direct.

Then he took out a black card and looked at it.

There was nothing else except a series of silver numbers.

“What is this?” Seeing the black guard take out the black card, Lidi panicked.

But remaining outwardly calm, he explained.

“It’s just a business card I received at work.” The Black Guard looked at the black card again and questioned.

“A business card with no information except a phone number?” Lidi just responded with an awkward smile.

“Some customers really like this kind of high-end design.” The Black Guard ignored his answer and just stuffed the black card back into his pocket.

“That’s it” The black guard signaled Lidi to get in the car, and he obeyed without saying a word and prepared to leave.

Just when Liddy wanted to close the car door, the Black Guard reached out and held on to the door.

“People like you, shouldn’t wander around.

It will increase our workload.

” After saying this, he turned and left.

After closing the car door, Lidi could finally take off that damn fake smile.

“Dickhead!” After complaining, he stepped on the paddle and drove off, hoping that there would be no more unexpected surprises tonight.
