There were four people in the dormitory in total, two Betas and two Omegas.

Xie Qing was an outsider, but he wasn’t awkward at all; he even sat right on Chen Yufeng’s chair.

After everyone finished looking at that ridiculously expensive toy gun, they went back to doing their own things.Full novel: Alcohol Allergy! Keep the Strong Liquor Away! — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Xie Wang and his older brother stared at each other in bewilderment.

“Brother, do you still have anything else?”

Xie Qing: “No.”

Chen Yufeng crossed his arms and stood beside the chair that had been occupied, wanting to see when this person would consciously leave.

Xie Qing said nonchalantly, “I turned down today’s Omega as well.”

Chen Yufeng: “There is really no need. I didn’t do any divination today.”

“I know,” Xie Qing said. “When are you free? Let’s have a meal together.”

Chen Yufeng felt like casting a hexagram to see if Xie Qing’s brain was broken.

“I am not an Omega.”

“I know,” Xie Qing stood up. “I’m leaving first. Contact me on WeChat.”

Xie Wang waved his hand mechanically, helpless that his older brother didn’t even look at him.

Chen Yufeng hooked him over by the shoulder. “Tell me, what kind of crazy stunt is your older brother pulling? He wouldn’t actually listen to Yan Mingzhe and plan to put me on an operating table for research, right?”

“And why did you buy me a 12,999 toy gun?”

Xie Wang lowered his head in embarrassment, pulling at the beads on his left wrist, which made a rustling sound.

“Didn’t I tell you my brother’s phone number last night? I didn’t expect you to make a transfer.”

Xie Wang said with a bitter face, “My brother said you saved me twice and got hurt both times, yet when I went to your livestream room, I even brought a wave of anti-fans upon you. He said you must hate me, so I wanted to buy a gift to butter you up.”

“As for my brother, he’s always like this. My older brother is a good person.”

Chen Yufeng: “Isn’t this getting a bit too good suddenly? Your brother is asking me out for a meal, do you think that’s normal?”

Xie Wang raised his head and thought carefully. “It’s normal. He takes about two different little O’s out for meals on average every day.”

“Damn.” Two loud exclamations of national essence came from the bed.

Chen Yufeng and Xie Wang only then noticed that the two roommates were pricking up their ears to listen to their conversation.

“Sorry, I got too absorbed in listening. I just arrived this morning, Jin Ruizhen, just call me Ah Jin.”

A slightly brawny guy with slightly dark skin climbed down from the bed and gave a brief self-introduction.

“My name is Pei Jie, just call me Xiao Pei, absolutely don’t call me Jie-jie, you guys know.”

Pei Jie looked quite delicate with a head of golden curly hair and a slightly shorter stature, belonging to the type who could be recognized as a sweet Omega just by appearance.

After the four of them finished introducing themselves to each other, Chen Yufeng didn’t ask about Xie Wang’s interests anymore.

He was already dying of sleepy-eyed exhaustion to begin with, and this interruption had wasted another twenty-some minutes of his time.

While lying half-asleep on the bed, a clear sentence suddenly flashed across his mind.

“There’s another Omega inside, I feel a bit like throwing up, you go.”

This was what Xie Qing had said yesterday.

At the time, it didn’t feel strange, but thinking about it now, why was it so weird? An Alpha would actually reject an Omega to this extent?

Wasn’t this contrary to instinct?

Chen Yufeng thought to himself: As expected, Xie Qing is a freak too. Where on earth does he get the nerve to study me?

Dozing off, Chen Yufeng drifted right to sleep, his very last thought before dropping off.

That meal had to be arranged; he needed to study Xie Qing as well.

Three o’clock in the afternoon, the grand auditorium.

Using a sea of people wouldn’t even begin to cover it; Chen Yufeng could even hear various regional dialects.

He had to admire everyone’s social skills. In just two days, people from the same hometown had already found each other and even gathered in groups.

He was originally supposed to write a draft last night, but he fell asleep too early and then slept straight through the afternoon until right before the assembly.

Chen Yufeng specialized in cramming at the last minute.

Fortunately, there wasn’t enough seating on stage, so he could still draft a script in the backstage area.

There were quite a few people backstage too. Chen Yufeng sat in a corner where someone’s blocker might have been wearing off, leaving a faint scent of green grass in the air.

The surroundings gradually grew restless. The reminded girl was wearing a white dress, smiling gently.

Someone was asking if anyone had a blocker.

Chen Yufeng’s thoughts drifted off again, and he touched the back of his neck.

He remembered Yan Mingzhe’s words once more.

Should he still go get checked another day, just in case?

However, he hoped he wouldn’t differentiate after all. Whether being an Alpha or an Omega, living life relying on blockers and suppressants was too troublesome. Besides, he reckoned he would always forget.

He thought of that arrested Alpha from last time.

Tch, it might even affect other people.

Fortunately, someone backstage brought a blocker, and that girl politely expressed her thanks.

Chen Yufeng stared with a bit too much focus, so much so that their gazes collided.

He immediately withdrew his gaze and subconsciously touched the back of his neck again.

As the representative giving a speech, Chen Yufeng was relatively experienced. The moment he stepped onto the stage, he was greeted by gasps from the entire audience.

Some people even let out a few whistles.

He took a deep breath, fixed his gaze steadily on the manuscript in his hand, and spoke two sentences before looking up to smile once.

“I hope we can all become brand-new versions of ourselves, thank you everyone.” Chen Yufeng spoke his final sentence, bowed, and left the stage.

The host stepped up to bridge the lines.

“After listening to classmate Chen Yufeng’s speech, everyone must be very curious about one question.” The male host chatted with the female host beside him with a smile.

The female host happened to be the one with the green grass scent earlier.

“What question is that?” The female host smiled, answering her own question, “I guess it must be: Where is your WeChat?”

“That’s right! Next up is the first performance prepared by the Joint Department for the freshmen, original music: Where is WeChat?”

Chen Yufeng, who had walked backstage: So cheesy, so cheesy, so cheesy!

You could exit from backstage directly to the back door of the auditorium.

Chen Yufeng didn’t like watching shows; he just wanted to go home early since he had to come back again at night anyway.

If he wasn’t mistaken, military training should probably start around tomorrow or the next day.

He had to stream some games today no matter what.

However, to his surprise, the moment he reached the school gate, he saw the familiar Audi R8 parked by the roadside.

The courier station was right at the east gate, and Chen Yufeng was quite curious to see what the young master picking up a courier in person looked like.

Standing by the car, he took out his phone and sent a message to Xie Qing.

Chen Yufeng: Picking up the toy gun Xie Wang is planning to give me?

Xie Qing happened to be scanning the code on the courier locker, and the door opened automatically.

He took out the courier with his left hand, closed the locker door, and quickly replied with his right hand: Calculated it?

Then Xie Qing felt it sounded a bit too superstitious, so he recalled the message and replied again: Saw my car?

Chen Yufeng had nothing to do anyway, so naturally he didn’t miss that remark about calculating it.

Chen Yufeng: Why did you recall it? I saw it. Believe it now? I really can do divination.

Xie Qing walked out holding the courier, and the moment he raised his eyes, he saw Chen Yufeng dressed in all white with a small ponytail.

“Waiting for me?” Xie Qing looked slightly surprised.

Chen Yufeng put away the phone he had used to ease the awkwardness. “Yeah, Xie Wang said that toy gun was bought for me, I’ll take it home on the way.”

“You’re willing to accept this one? Do you really like these things?” Xie Qing handed him the courier. “Makes sense, after all you’re even younger than Xie Wang.”

“I’ll accept whatever people give me. Next time giving money is fine too, just don’t give so much, my psychological pressure is too big.” Chen Yufeng pinched the back of his neck and explained.

He had taken a nap at noon and wasn’t dwelling on it anymore, directly turning the page.

“Don’t let Xie Wang hear that, he’ll think you’re cursing him to run into danger next time.” Xie Qing said, “Is your neck still hurting?”

“I feel like only you would think that way.”

Chen Yufeng said, loosening his hand to roll his neck around. “It doesn’t hurt, but it feels uncomfortable.”

“Could it be the gland is developing?” Xie Qing remarked casually.

“Ah? No way.” Chen Yufeng stretched out his neck sideways. “Help me check if there’s anything unusual?”
