Translator: CinderTL Zellier felt genuinely grateful toward Bev.

Despite her noble birth, she showed no arrogance, instead treating him with warmth and taking him on a tour of the Mage’s Guild, sharing invaluable knowledge.

He also owed Teacher Marvin a debt of gratitude for his enthusiastic assistance in securing his guild subsidy ahead of schedule.Full novel: All Attribute Mage — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

These were debts of kindness that would need to be repaid slowly but surely…

“Good evening, Ouro.” Returning to the Night Blossom Inn, Zellier waved to Ouro.

“Good evening, Mr.

Zellier,” Ouro replied with a sweet smile.

“Your new clothes look very handsome.” “Uh…

thank you,” Zellier mumbled, scratching his cheek and instinctively averting his gaze.

“I’ll have a vegetable cream soup, toasted bread, and chicken fried rice.” Recalling the grim ending of The Curse of Immortality, Zellier couldn’t bring himself to eat meat tonight.

“Certainly,” Ouro said, turning to call out to the kitchen.

The meal wasn’t expensive, costing Zellier only fifty copper coins.

The dinner arrived quickly.

In addition to what Zellier had ordered, a mug of ale was placed on the table.

“On the house,” Ouro said with a smile.

“Thank you…” The Night Blossom Inn’s chef was exceptionally skilled, each dish possessing a unique and flavorful character.

Zellier devoured the meal with gusto, then drained more than half the mug of ale in one gulp.

“Burp…” The fatigue that had weighed him down earlier had largely dissipated.

He let out a satisfied burp.

The evaluation was complete, the magic wand purchased, and he had secretly learned quite a few spells.

He now had a gold coin and some change left in his pocket.

He glanced at his status panel.

The progress for the wind blade Spell, Illumination Spell, and Water Ball Spell had all reached 10%.

The speed at which he could analyze spells with simpler formula structures was truly remarkable.

At this rate, he estimated he could fully master these spells within three or four days, significantly boosting his combat capabilities.

By then, he would likely head back to the Adventurer’s Association to take on more missions.

Four days later, on the outskirts of Blackstone Town, in a sparse grove of trees, Zellier took a deep breath, focusing his mind to achieve peak concentration.

“wind blade, activate!” With a flick of his ashwood staff, an invisible blade flashed through the air at lightning speed.

Crack!

A deep gash appeared on the trunk of the tree before him, sap slowly oozing from the wound.

Zellier stepped forward to examine the damage.

The wind blade had carved a groove over two centimeters deep.

Had this strike landed on an ordinary person, it would have caused at least a severe injury.

Zellier nodded in satisfaction.

Impressive destructive power.

Of the three spells he had learned from Bev, the wind blade spell was his favorite.

Stealthy, swift, and boasting greater physical destructive force than the fireball spell, it was particularly effective against unarmored enemies.

The illumination spell was purely a utility spell, while the water ball spell…

To be honest, Zellier found the water ball spell rather comical.

Unless the target was something like a fire elemental, a water ball would be utterly useless.

It was better than nothing, he supposed.

At least it could quench his thirst when he was far from water sources.

Over the past four days, Zellier had not only mastered these three spells but also received an unexpected bonus.

Having progressed far ahead of schedule, he had also completed the analysis of the fire dragon art.

The fire dragon art was a third-tier spell with a single-layer formula structure, one tier higher than spells like the fireball spell.

In terms of performance, the fire dragon art could be considered an advanced version of the fireball spell.

Zellier had compared the formula structures of the two spells.

He discovered that the mana accumulation circuit accounted for a much larger proportion in the fire dragon art, which explained its greater power.

To avoid causing a forest fire, Zellier chose to practice his magic by the river.

Mana began to flow, slowly tracing the formula structure.

As this was his first attempt at casting the spell, Zellier took his time.

After about seven or eight seconds, the tip of his ashwood staff finally glowed with an intense, fiery light.

Fire dragon art, activate!

Boom!

A massive fireball, nearly five meters in diameter, erupted forth, hurtling straight ahead with terrifying force!

The river surface hissed and steamed under the scorching heat, sending plumes of white mist billowing into the air.

The fire dragon art surpassed the ordinary fireball spell in both its mana-fueled impact and the sheer heat it radiated.

Moreover, the fire dragon art possessed a unique characteristic: it could be sustained continuously as long as mana remained.

With sufficient mana, one could unleash an endless torrent of flames, reducing enemies to charred cinders.

Zellier cut off the mana flow, and the colossal fireball gradually extinguished.

“Truly worthy of being the fireball spell’s superior replacement…” Zellier murmured in awe.

With this technique at his disposal, he felt a newfound sense of security.

Everything was now in place.

All that remained was to slay monsters, earn money, and level up!

Adventurer’s Association.

Returning to this place once more, Zellier felt a newfound sense of ease.

The familiar cacophony of voices still filled the air, as adventurers either browsed the mission boards for suitable tasks or recruited teammates.

Amidst the bustling crowd, Zellier spotted a towering half-orc.

His skin was pale green, his fur thick and abundant, and his muscles bulged beneath his tunic.

The broadaxe slung across his back was nearly as wide as a door.

Though Zellier couldn’t gauge the exact proportion of orcish blood flowing through his veins, he suspected it far outweighed Vales’ elven heritage.

Remembering Bev’s warnings about the Mage’s Guild and the Adventurer’s Association, Zellier scanned the crowd, searching for a target.

Luck was on his side.

Before reaching the mission board, he recognized a familiar figure from behind.

Marcus was selecting a quest.

“Hey!

Marcus, how’ve you been?” Zellier clapped him on the shoulder.

“Oh, it’s you…

Not bad, actually.

Didn’t expect to run into you so soon.” A smile spread across Marcus’s face as he saw Zellier.

“How about we team up this time?” “Of course,” Zellier readily agreed to Marcus’s invitation.

Being with someone familiar always felt safer, and Marcus was someone he could trust.

“What kind of mission are you planning to take?” Zellier asked, his gaze quickly scanning the mission board.

“What do you think?” Marcus replied.

After their shared battle against the mist demon, Marcus had revised his opinion of Zellier.

He had initially dismissed him as a rookie, but Zellier had proven surprisingly useful in a crisis.

Otherwise, Marcus wouldn’t have suggested forming a permanent team after their last mission.

“Let’s play it safe and take something simple,” Zellier suggested.

He wanted to test the effectiveness of his newly learned magic in a real combat situation.

Something too challenging would be overwhelming, but something too easy would be pointless.

Marcus began carefully selecting a mission.

After a moment, he pulled down a request form.

“How about this one?” Zellier took the form and saw it was a commission issued by the Blackstone Town Administrative Office.
