Under Su Xingyu's arrangements, the development of the barbarian stronghold quickly got on the right track.
After determining the general development direction, Su Xingyu did not linger here any longer. After all, the Night Tribe had been urging him many times. He transferred Ye San over, and after handing over the current affairs, he immediately returned to the Night Tribe.
"Clan Leader, the new tribesmen who joined last time have excellent physical qualities. They can become Transcendent Warriors with just a little training." As soon as Su Xingyu finished handling the administrative affairs left by Ye San, Ye Zhan rushed over to report before he could even rest.
The batch of new tribesmen he mentioned were the barbarian warriors who had returned with them last time.
After defeating the barbarian tribe, Su Xingyu incorporated a large number of barbarian warriors, using the Night Tribe warriors as the backbone to reorganize several legions.
The newly reorganized legions undoubtedly needed to be integrated, and Ye Zhan, as the tribe's second commander, was the most suitable person for this task.
What Su Xingyu didn't expect was that Ye Zhan had actually finished the training in less than two months.
Su Xingyu rubbed his temples and said softly, "It's good that they've become Transcendent Warriors. Keep training them. If you need any supplies, just go directly to the Seventh Elder."
"If I needed supplies, I would definitely go to the Seventh Elder. The main problem is that I can't train them anymore," Ye Zhan shook his head.
Su Xingyu raised an eyebrow, his eyes narrowing slightly, "What do you mean you can't train them anymore?"
"It's not that they can't be trained, it's just that the effect is too poor if we continue training them like this." Facing the Clan Leader's questioning, Ye Zhan felt a lot of pressure and quickly explained, "There's no issue with their bodies, they're incredibly strong, and can become Transcendent with just a little training. But their organizational ability is truly terrible. They don't understand cooperation at all; they just charge forward when fighting."
Upon hearing this, Su Xingyu couldn't help but laugh and teased, "Isn't that perfect, it's just like you. How about this, don't find any other Legion Commanders for them. From now on, this group of people will be under your command."
"Clan Leader, please stop making fun of me."
Ye Zhan scratched his head, looking a bit troubled, "Seriously, I don't think continuing to train them like this will be very effective. How about this... see if there are any suitable targets nearby for me to take them out and train. If they fight a few more battles, they'll understand cooperation."
On battlefields with tens of thousands of soldiers, individual bravery is important, but coordination with comrades is even more crucial.
Soldiers are not required to know much, but at the very least, they must be able to achieve basic organization and cooperation with their comrades. Otherwise, relying solely on personal strength, they won't survive long on the battlefield.
Even Ye Zhan, when leading a charge, would have a group of Personal Guards with him, rather than charging alone.
"You go outside and take a look yourself. With this terrible weather, where am I supposed to find enemies for you to practice against?" Su Xingyu glanced at him and said irritably.
"That's true."
Ye Zhan thought about it and realized it made sense. "Then what should we do? How about we go fight the Gnolls? I heard they are quite strong."
"There's no rush with the Gnolls. I have other plans. We'll deal with them after spring." Su Xingyu understood Ye Zhan's difficulties. He also knew that military training couldn't just be about training; it had to be validated on the battlefield.
However, there were truly no enemies nearby for them to practice against.
The army's scale was too large, numbering tens of thousands of people.
For such a massive army, finding a suitable target was not a simple matter.
' Should I invade someone else's Plane? '
Since there were no suitable enemies on their side, they could only turn their attention outwards.
After some time of understanding, Su Xingyu had a general assessment of his own strength. Among the many Gods, he belonged to the stronger tier.
Invading anyone randomly to use for military training was indeed a good option.
However, after thinking for a while, Su Xingyu temporarily abandoned the idea of invasion. It wasn't that he was worried about not being able to win or about making enemies.
The main reason was that the Night Tribe should focus on development at this stage. Breaking the novice protection period just for military training would be a case of Not worth the effort.
"If I can't fight others, then I can only look for those Plane Fragments that are uninhabited. However, the situation within Plane Fragments is complex, with varying levels of strength. It would be troublesome if I stumbled into a big pit."
In the Endless Void, besides Planes with complete Laws, there were also some fragmented Plane Fragments.
These Plane Fragments also contained Living Beings, and most of them were special Living Beings, because Normal Living Beings simply couldn't survive within Plane Fragments.
The strength of the Living Beings within the fragments varied, but they generally possessed the strength of Transcendent Warriors.
The System provided a function to explore Plane Fragments, but Su Xingyu had never used it before.
However, based on the information in the World Channel, these Plane Fragments were quite dangerous. Most people had suffered losses of troops there, although a small number had reaped considerable rewards and obtained many transcendent resources.
After much deliberation, Su Xingyu decided to explore the Plane Fragments. It was both for military training and to familiarize himself with this world.
Exploring Plane Fragments does not break the System's novice protection, making it a relatively good choice.
"You go back and organize your troops first. If nothing unexpected happens, you'll have a tough battle to deal with in a couple of days."
After weighing the pros and cons, Su Xingyu told Ye Zhan to go back and prepare. Fighting a war is not that simple; one cannot just rush in impulsively.
Pre-battle preparations are essential. The army's Logistics Work, the mobilization of Soldiers, and intelligence on the Enemy all need to be prepared.
"Understood, Clan Leader."
Ye Zhan cupped his hands in a salute, his face filled with excitement.
He then turned and left the Conference Room to begin his pre-battle work.
After Ye Zhan left, Su Xingyu opened the System interface and sent a message to "Wang Dong" on his friend list: "How much do you know about planar exploration?"
In recent times, Su Xingyu had conducted several trades through Wang Dong. Over time, their relationship had become quite good, and they sometimes exchanged information.
Not long after, Wang Dong's reply came.
【Black Star】 "I haven't used the planar exploration function yet. My soldiers are few, and if I lose them, I'd cry to death. What, are you planning to start planar exploration?"
【Black Star】 "If you're going to explore a Plane, you'd best be careful. Investigate the Plane's situation thoroughly before entering. Some Planes have extreme environments that are not suitable for human survival. Rushing in blindly will lead to great losses. I had a client who explored once; as soon as that guy opened the Teleportation Gate, before he even entered, he was engulfed by the erupting lava. His True Body died miserably."
【Black Star】 "Here is some exploration information from a few Players I know. See if it's useful to you."
【Xing Yu】 "Okay, thank you."
