One day later, the two armies were about to meet.

On the vast plain, over two hundred thousand soldiers gathered, their imposing presence inspiring awe.

Ye Zhan pulled on the reins, reared his war horse, raised his spear to the sky, and shouted loudly.

"Victory in this battle!"

"Victory in this battle!"

"Victory in this battle!"

The officers and soldiers also shouted in unison, their voices like thunder from a clear sky, even the Goblin Great Army on the opposite side was intimidated.

"Charge with me!"

Ye Zhan roared and charged forward on his horse towards the enemy formation. The soldiers behind him, already prepared, followed closely.

Fighting three thousand against two hundred thousand, even Ye Zhan dared not be careless at this moment. A war of this scale could lead to heavy losses with just one mistake.

Therefore, Ye Zhan chose his most proficient tactic: leading the army in a charge to break through the enemy formation.

"Charge, kill these humans."

The Goblin leaders shouted in unison, and then also launched their charge.

It was better not to run, but once they started running, the entire Goblin front line instantly became disorganized, and a stampede even occurred.

Originally, the Goblin front line was organized with normal Goblins in the front and their own Elite Goblins in the rear.

The few Goblin leaders thought simply: the battle would definitely start with the front engaging, letting the normal Goblins take the brunt, thus reducing the losses for their own tribesmen.

However, the organizational ability of the Goblins was so poor that even Orcs would shake their heads.

For a time, the front of the Goblins descended into chaos, not like an army going to war, but more like people rushing to a market.

The Goblin leaders initially didn't think there was any problem, but upon comparing them to the Human Cavalry on the opposite side, their expressions changed drastically.

The cavalry first unleashed a volley of arrows, reaping a batch of Goblins, and then directly crashed into the Goblin front line. As the war horses galloped, this cavalry corps of over eight thousand men displayed terrifying impact.

The already chaotic front line was directly split in two by the impact.

"Die!"

Ye Zhan brandished his spear, its sharp edge easily slicing through the bodies of Goblins, killing the Goblins in front.

The orderly cavalry corps, like tanks that had set their formation and were pushing forward, crushed everything in their path into powder.

Goblins fell continuously, like straw being cut by a scythe, and an entire area was instantly wiped out.

There were no fancy techniques, just a frontal assault.

All Goblins blocking the cavalry's path were either slain by soldiers or trampled to death by war horses; all died, without exception.

If one were to observe from the sky, they would see a large dent in the Goblin front line.

Wherever the cavalry passed, there were no survivors.

The battlefield was filled with the screams and wails of Goblins, blood flowed everywhere, and there were dismembered limbs and broken bodies, as well as bloody internal organs, a truly tragic sight.

Interception?

What could you use to intercept?

Ye Zhan led the cavalry, charging through the Goblins unimpeded, demonstrating what it meant to be invincible.

Seeing this, the Goblin leaders in the rear roared and quickly led their elite subordinates to charge forward.

"Come!"

Ye Zhan switched his weapon to a long saber. With a casual swing, he slashed forward. A scarlet saber aura flickered, instantly cutting a Goblin Behemoth in half.

After slowing down, Ye Zhan did not charge out to reform his formation. After switching to his long saber, he continued to charge forward, destroying the Goblin formation in an extremely violent manner.

Clad in armor, the Goblins' attacks could not even break through the warriors' defense.

The first and second defense lines were quickly pierced by Ye Zhan. At this point, he encountered the elite of the Goblin Great Army, the Blood Red Goblins.

Without any pleasantries, the two sides began to fight upon meeting.

Upon engaging, the Goblin leaders discovered something was wrong; the opponent's strength was quite formidable!

"Die!"

Facing Ye Zhan, the leader of the Kala Tribe, without any hesitation, Ye Zhan instantly unleashed his full power. Scarlet Battle Qi surged forth, and he slashed down with his long saber. The Kala Tribe leader had just been forced back and hadn't stabilized himself when he saw a scarlet saber energy approaching. He instinctively raised his Spiked Club to block.

Swish—

The saber energy sliced through, and the Goblin, along with its Spiked Club, was cut in half.

"The leader is dead."

"How is that possible? The leader couldn't even withstand one blow."

"We're doomed, the enemy is too strong!"

All the Blood Red Goblins witnessed this scene. The leader of the Kala Tribe, while not the strongest among the Goblins, was still quite powerful; at least no Goblin could defeat him in a single move.

Yet, he was killed by a single saber strike from the human opposite him. How could this not shock the Goblins?

And it wasn't just Ye Zhan who erupted; the cavalry behind him also unleashed their power without regard for consumption. The terrified Blood Red Goblins fell in large numbers.

"Don't be scared by him, let's all go together."

As soon as one Goblin leader finished shouting, he saw Ye Zhan charge forward. He swung his long saber again, and a scarlet saber energy slashed across, instantly sending the Goblin leader's head flying.

"Hiss!"

"How can we fight this?"

"Why don't we run?"

Seeing this, the remaining Goblin leaders felt the urge to retreat.

It wasn't that they were cowardly, but the enemy was simply too powerful.

As Ye Zhan charged into the enemy formation, the other infantry engaged the scattered Goblins in the front.

Since the connection to the City of Gods was established, the Night Tribe no longer lacked equipment and weapons; at least they had no shortage of weapons forged from normal fine iron.

Therefore, these over twenty thousand infantry soldiers were all clad in armor. While not all of it was Heavy Armor, it was more than enough to withstand the Goblins' attacks.

And besides the Human Sword and Shield Soldiers, there was a special group.

Semi-Metal Giants, a total of five hundred Semi-Metal Giants.

Relying on their unreasonable defensive capabilities, the Semi-Metal Giants, wielding Giant Spiked Clubs, charged directly into the Goblin horde.

With a single sweeping attack, all the Goblins within a circle around them were sent flying.

It was like a two-meter-tall man charging into a kindergarten; the Semi-Metal Giants rampaged on the battlefield. The short Goblins weren't even as tall as their legs.

The other Human Sword and Shield Soldiers followed closely, holding their shields and slowly advancing.

Swing the saber, retract the saber, advance.

All the Goblins that stood in their way were slain, and they advanced slowly but firmly, like rows of killing machines.

If Ye Zhan's cavalry was meant to break the formation and disrupt the enemy's lines, then these twenty thousand Sword and Shield Soldiers had only one purpose: to slay all enemies.

At this moment, the Goblins finally remembered the fear of being dominated by other creatures.

Even though their numbers were seven times that of the enemy, even though they had the backing of their various tribes, and even though they were much stronger than their ancestors, it was useless. Their crude weapons couldn't even break through the defense of the Night Tribe warriors, let alone the shield in front of them.

Not long after, the meager courage that was bolstered by their numbers also dissipated under the blades of the Night Tribe warriors.

Even though their numbers still crushed the enemy, the Goblins no longer wanted to fight.

They couldn't win, they simply couldn't win.

These human warriors were too powerful.

More powerful and braver than their ancestors had described.
