The results for his knee were checked quickly. There was nothing seriously wrong; it was simply a case of overexertion during this period.
Icarus prescribed some medicine and secretly mixed in a bit of his own blood with a cup of water for Chigiri Hyoma to drink. The latter took it and drank it in one gulp, without the slightest objection.
Watching Chigiri Hyoma walk away, Icarus turned around and found himself face-to-face with a giant Miffy rabbit.
?!
Icarus broke out in a cold sweat instantly.
When did Nagi Seishiro arrive? How much did he see?
“Nagi Seishiro, what are you doing here?” Don’t panic, test him first.
“Just now, ah, let me think…” Nagi Seishiro tilted his head, “Let’s start from when you secretly cut your finger and mixed your blood into the water.”
Thank goodness, thank goodness; he didn’t see me sucking on Chigiri Hyoma. If he were caught sucking on one after another, it really would make it seem like his motives for organizing this project weren’t pure.
“I just thought it was strange, why he was recovering so fast,” Nagi Seishiro said in a tone of sudden realization, “So it turns out you added something special.”
“Does your blood have some special effect? Is it an elixir?”
“That’s not important,” Icarus changed the subject, “Why did you suddenly come to the infirmary?”
Nagi Seishiro obediently raised his hand and placed it in front of Icarus. Only then did Icarus see a scrape on his arm.
“I accidentally scratched it during training. It hurts.”
So he came to the infirmary, not expecting to see the black-haired youth from that night. So the person I could never find was the doctor in the infirmary.
Icarus breathed a sigh of relief and turned to take out the medical kit. “Minor wound, it’s nothing.”
Watching Icarus lower his head to bandage him, Nagi Seishiro asked out of the blue, “So, is your blood very special?”
How come he still hasn’t forgotten about it!
Icarus feigned seriousness, “Everything is for the sake of better cultivating the world’s number one striker. All sacrifices are worth it.”
“I see.” Nagi Seishiro was silent for a moment before suddenly speaking up, “Then if I drink your blood, can my wounds skip the recovery steps?”
“Just let this minor wound heal naturally,” Icarus applied a bandage, his tone deepening as he warned, “It’s better not to use extreme measures easily.”
Nagi Seishiro nodded obediently, “Then will you still go play soccer tonight? You’ve been gone for two nights in a row.”
“I will,” Icarus thought for a moment, seeing no special arrangements for the night, “Still the same time, see you on the field.”
Nagi Seishiro suddenly stood up, his 1.9-meter height quite imposing. But then he obediently squatted down, obediently pulling down the clothes at his neckline.
“Reward,” Nagi Seishiro said concisely.
“No need!” Icarus jumped down instantly, pressing down hard on his hands, “In broad daylight! Hurry and let go.”
Nagi Seishiro obeyed obediently.
“I will take it myself when I need it,” Icarus sighed.
Why is this snack even more proactive than the person doing the eating?
“By the way, isn’t Mikage Reo here? He should be able to handle this minor wound.” Icarus asked in confusion.
Nagi Seishiro was silent for a moment, “We have separated for now.”
“Why?” Clearly, the last time he saw them, they were inseparable.
“Reo brought me into the world of soccer, and I am very grateful to him for that,” Nagi Seishiro’s dull eyes seemed to ignite with a beam of light, “However, now I want to follow someone stronger to pursue my soccer.”
Watching Nagi Seishiro’s departing back, Icarus’s eyes lit up.
That’s great! The lazy fish is now actively wanting to progress! A huge joyous event.
Icarus was truly looking forward to what kind of surprises this stage of Nagi Seishiro would bring him.
…
When evening arrived, Icarus arrived at the field as promised.
Nagi Seishiro was already practicing the banana kick he had taught him last time. Watching the arc of Nagi Seishiro’s kick, Icarus nodded with satisfaction.
“Improving quite fast, aren’t you.”
“Yeah, so when do we learn the next one?”
“That, of course, is now,” Icarus raised his brows.
The clock on the wall moved past one turn after another; in the blink of an eye, it was time for a break. Seeing Nagi Seishiro still wanting more, Icarus took the initiative to call a halt.
“You have a special training arrangement tomorrow, so get some early rest today.”
Speaking of which, tomorrow is the match against the world-class strikers, so don’t let me down.
Nagi Seishiro nodded, following Icarus step by step until they reached the corridor.
The corridor at 1:30 AM was quiet, not a single soul in sight. Icarus had just reached the corner of the corridor when he was pressed against the wall by the oversized Miffy rabbit.
Is this snack this proactive?
Nagi Seishiro leaned down slightly, using one hand to pull down the clothes at his neckline.
Icarus gladly accepted the wall-pin from his snack, gazing at the fair neck presented before him, and opened his mouth without ceremony.
Nom!
The familiar lemon-tea flavor once again swept through his mouth, accompanied by wisps of sweet fragrance, making Icarus quickly grow intoxicated by it.
Perhaps because the speed of blood flow had accelerated after exercise, the liquid in his mouth seemed to become even fresher and tastier.
Still so delicious!
Nagi Seishiro felt his blood rapidly draining away, but without changing his expression, he pulled his collar down a bit further. His other hand moved quietly, pressing firmly against the back of Icarus’s head.
Icarus, intoxicated by his meal, didn’t notice Nagi Seishiro’s small movements. He cherished every drop of his meal, stopping only when he estimated it was about enough.
He licked the bleeding puncture wounds to stop the bleeding, and just as Icarus intended to step back
Hm? Why can’t I step back?
“Nagi?” Icarus made a sound of confusion.
“Ah, is it over already?”
A voice filled with regret rose from overhead. Before Icarus could distinguish the emotions within it, the pressure on the back of his head loosened.
“If I were to keep sucking, you wouldn’t be able to play soccer tomorrow because of a lack of energy,” Icarus said seriously, “I am a vampire; you’re lucky you happened to run into a vampire with as much self-control as I have.”
“Otherwise, I might suck you dry, you know.”
Icarus threatened him in a practiced manner, but Nagi Seishiro remained completely expressionless. “But you wouldn’t, would you.”
The tone was concise, leaving no room for refutation.
“That… is true… but you can’t ignore the potential risks!”
“Then what is your name?” Nagi Seishiro changed the subject, “What should I call you?”
Although Nagi Seishiro had been secretly calling Icarus the “field spirit that only appears at midnight” in his heart, it was obvious that this person before him surely had his own name.
“Icarus,” the black-haired youth paused, “You can call me Ika.”
Icarus didn’t really like the meaning of his full name, so he preferred to be called Ika by those he was close to.
“Alright, Ika.”
Since Ika’s syllables were shorter than Icarus’s, Nagi Seishiro accepted the nickname very happily.
“Ika, give me another bite.”
Nagi Seishiro lowered his voice as if he were gently coaxing him.
The sensation of having his blood sucked away seemed to still linger on his skin, and the thrilling excitement that had his whole body trembling hadn’t yet had time to fade. Had the vampire cast some kind of hypnosis? Why is it that after being sucked once, I can’t help but recall the sensation from that night?
Warm lips, shallow breathing, the scalp-numbing pleasure.
Nagi Seishiro had always gotten what he wanted. Since Icarus only appeared at midnight, he would practice soccer at midnight. Since he had discovered Icarus’s frequent spawn points, he would take advantage of every opportunity.
“Just that little bit from before, it’s not enough, right?” The white-haired youth’s lowered voice was filled with seduction, “My body is very healthy. It’s no problem to drink a little more.”
Icarus had left Chigiri Hyoma’s soft neck only through sheer force of will, and now, after hearing this, his gaze couldn’t help but look toward the two blood holes he had just sucked.
He hadn’t sucked on Nagi Seishiro for two days; perhaps, probably, maybe… he could drink another two mouthfuls today.
Icarus didn’t realize that their roles had been completely reversed. Nagi Seishiro, as the snack, seemed to have become the dominant party, coaxing the newborn vampire into relying more on him.
The enticed vampire opened his tiny, newborn fangs, once again covering that fair neck.
The sensation of being sucked came, and the familiar trembling rushed up again. Nagi Seishiro sighed deeply and contentedly, his nose smelling the familiar scent as his other hand tightly circled the black-haired youth’s waist.
I won’t let you run away.
In their overlapping shadows, the limb movements of the taller party seemed to say exactly this.
…Then, he fell into the eyes of another person.
That person clenched their fists, not rushing out, but restraining themselves as they watched quietly.
…
Icarus drank a few more mouthfuls with restraint, feeling the world before him grow increasingly blurry.
He was already half-full from Chigiri Hyoma that morning, and now, having received Nagi Seishiro’s enthusiastic hospitality, he was too full and felt a bit dizzy.
Feeling that Icarus was gradually unable to stand steadily, Nagi Seishiro took the opportunity to half-crouch down, ignoring the back of his neck which was still dripping blood due to the lack of a vampire’s careful care, and prepared to help him up.
But where should he help him to?
Only then did Nagi Seishiro remember that he apparently still didn’t know where Icarus lived.
The infirmary shouldn’t be wrong, surely?
Nagi Seishiro didn’t want to bring Icarus to his dormitory out of his own selfishness. A subconscious possessiveness made him decide to place Icarus in the empty infirmary.
Seeing Nagi Seishiro carry the clearly unconscious Icarus on his back, the person who had been observing from the side finally couldn’t hold back.
“Hey, where do you plan on taking him?”
Nagi Seishiro swept a condescending glance at Chigiri Hyoma, who was currently clenching his fists.
“I thought you had left long ago.”
Why are you still here?
Nagi Seishiro’s face was blatantly and undisguisedly writing the unfinished words. And Chigiri Hyoma read it.
“That has nothing to do with you,” Chigiri Hyoma frowned, “With him in this state, where do you plan on taking him?”
“Where I take Ika has nothing to do with you,” Nagi Seishiro carried the black-haired youth on his back and turned to leave.
Ika? He actually calls him so intimately.
Chigiri Hyoma’s feet seemed to be rooted to the spot. He watched as Nagi Seishiro carried the black-haired youth away, gritting his teeth.
