I woke up at 6 AM, showered, had breakfast, and drove straight to school.
🚗💨 Today, review sessions were scheduled at school, but only for Section A and Section E.

As I walked through the main courtyard, I saw Aries and Alvin Sir talking near the stairs.
🗣️ I couldn’t hear their conversation, but the tense expression on Aries’ face made my blood run cold.
(They are definitely hiding something from me.) 🕵️♂️⚠️
After Alvin Sir walked away, I entered Section E’s classroom.
Jay’s seat was empty.

Since Alvin Sir lives in the same house, I immediately marched up to his desk.
“Sir, where is Jay?” 🤨
Alvin Sir looked up from his papers.
“She has a fever, Keifer.
Aries will help her review her lessons at home later.” 👨🏫
Everyone POV (Section E): 🎒👥
Jay was not answering anyone’s calls or messages.
📱❌ The whole classroom was buzzing with anxiety.
”Has anyone heard from Jay-Jay?!” Ci-N asked, pacing around the room nervously.

”No, her phone is completely switched off!” Felix replied, staring at his screen.

It had been two whole days since we last saw her.
We missed her terribly and felt like something terrible was being hidden from us.
💔 Keifer walked up to Rory and Edrix with a dark, commanding glare.
”Rory, Edrix…
use your contacts.
Find out where Jay is right now,” Keifer ordered sharply.
🕵️♂️🔎
Rory and Edrix immediately got to work, making calls and checking network locations.
Half an hour later, Edrix walked back, looking pale.
”Guys…
Jay isn’t even at Angelo’s house!” Edrix revealed in a low whisper.
“She hasn’t been home since yesterday morning!” 🚫🏡
”WHAT?!” Ci-N gasped, slamming his hands on the desk.

”Try tracking her phone location!” Keifer snapped, his eyes flashing with panic.

”We tried!
Her location signal is completely jammed or turned off,” Rory replied helplessly.
🤦♂️
Just as everyone was about to lose their minds, Keifer gripped his desk tightly and breathed out, “Aries knows where she is.
He told me he’s managing it.” 😮💨
Hearing that Aries was involved, the rest of the gang let out a collective sigh of relief, assuming Aries was just protecting her, and eventually headed back home after classes ended.

Keifer POV: 🖤
Out of nowhere, my phone screen flashed with an incoming call—it was Jay!
📲✨ I answered it so fast I almost dropped the phone.
”Jay!
Where the hell are you?!” I shouted into the mic, my heart pounding against my ribs like a sledgehammer.

”I’m with Rakki…” she murmured in a soft, timid voice.

”Why are you ignoring my messages?!” I demanded, trying to keep my voice from cracking with desperation.

”I’m not ignoring you…
I just can’t look at my phone screen because of this heavy fever…” she explained weakly.

I opened my mouth to scold her for making me worry to death, but before I could utter a word, she softly cooed into the receiver, “I’m sorry…
baby.” 🥹💕
My breath caught in my throat.
My brain completely glitched.
(B-BABY?!
Did she just call me BABY?!!) 🫀💥🔥
My face flushed bright red, and I gripped my phone tighter, trying desperately to sound cool and composed.
“O-Okay…
just…
rest well, wifey.” 😳💓
The second she hung up, I didn’t waste a single second.
I jumped into my car and drove like a maniac straight to Rakki’s house.

I banged on Rakki’s front door.
When Rakki opened it, I pushed past the doorway and asked urgently, “Where is Jay?!” 🤨
Rakki flinched, looking at me with nervous, sweating eyes.
“S-She…
she just left from here to go back home!” 🏠
(Back home?!)
I gritted my teeth, stormed back to my car, and drove straight to Angelo’s house, my hands gripping the steering wheel so hard my knuckles turned white.
(Everyone is playing games with me today!
I swear if anyone lies to me one more time…) 🏎️💨😡
When I arrived at Angelo’s house, I marched straight toward Jay’s room with fast, angry strides.
🚪 Aries jumped in front of the door again to block me, but this time, I shoved him out of the way with full force, grabbed the brass handle, and slammed the door open!
💥🚪
The room was neat, silent, and completely empty.
I spun around on my heel, staring at Aries with pure rage, and screamed at the top of my lungs, “WHERE IS JAY?!” 🤬🔥
Kuya Angelo came rushing down the hallway, his face filled with irritation.
“What happened?!
What is all this noise about?!” 🤨
”Where is Jay?!” I demanded, turning my glare onto Angelo.
😡💥
”In her room!” Angelo answered, utterly bewildered.
“Why are you shouting?!” 🤔
”Jay is NOT in her room!” I roared, pointing an accusing finger at the empty bed.
“She hasn’t been home since yesterday morning!” 💥‼️
Kuya Angelo froze.
The color instantly drained from his face as his eyes widened in horror.
He slowly turned his head and glared at Aries with a terrifying, deadly aura.

”Aries…” Angelo’s voice dropped to a dangerous whisper.
“WHERE IS YOUR SISTER?!” 🗡️💥
Cornered with nowhere left to run, Aries dropped his head, letting out a defeated, heavy sigh.
“She is with Percy…
at his condo.” 🏢
Angelo and I instantly turned to storm out the front door toward Percy’s place, but Aries leaped forward and spread his arms, blocking the exit!

”Move out of the way, Aries!” Angelo growled darkly.
😡
”If you go there right now, Jay’s condition might flare up again!” Aries shouted desperately, looking both of us dead in the eye.
🚨
Angelo and I stopped dead in our tracks, staring at him in complete shock.
🫨
”WHAT CONDITION?!” Angelo and I bellowed in unison, our voices echoing through the entire mansion.
🗣️💥
Aries swallowed hard, his throat dry.
He gestured toward the living room couches.
“Come inside first.
Sit down.” 🚪
We followed him, our fists clenched tightly at our sides.

”Jay will come to school tomorrow, and she’ll come back home here right after,” Aries said softly, his voice full of pleading.
“So please…
there is no need to panic.
Until then, I am begging you both, do not disturb her.” 🙏🥺
”BUT WHAT CONDITION ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT, ARIES?!” Angelo yelled, losing his patience completely.

Aries took a deep, shaky breath, his eyes filling with serious anxiety as he looked us dead in the eyes.

”You will see that tomorrow at school…
but it’s much less severe than before, and she is doing fine now.
Just…
trust me for one day,” Aries pleaded softly.

Kuya Angelo’s fists tightened so hard his veins popped.
“If anything happens to Jay tomorrow, Aries…
I won’t spare you, Percy, or anyone involved.” 👿🔥
I stood there in complete silence, my chest burning with fear and suspicion.
(What condition?!
What the hell happened to my wifey…
and why is everyone keeping it from me?!) 🤬‼️💥
