I left for home after having my sweet reward.
(I missed her so much today, but at least I got to see her cute smile before leaving…)😌❤️
When I reached home, I saw the maid in the living area and asked her about Kigan and Kerian.
”Where are Kigan and Kerian?” I asked, loosening my tie.

”Kerian has gone on a school trip, sir,” she replied politely.
“He will be back after the 3rd day.
As for Keigan sir, he has planned a sleepout for 3 days at his friend’s house.” 🏠🚌
I nodded quietly.
“Alright, you may go.”
I walked up to my room, took a long shower, and changed into comfortable clothes.

Afterwards, I went downstairs for dinner.
I ate quickly and then sat at my desk to review the documents Honey had brought to me earlier.

By the time I finished sorting through the paperwork, I noticed the clock—it was already 10 PM.

I thought to myself, staring at the blank screen.

I woke up at 6 AM as usual.
⏰ I went through my morning routine, showered, and got dressed in fresh clothes.

It was already 7:30 AM, and our review session was scheduled for 9 AM at Angelo’s house.
🏡 I grabbed my car keys and headed out, but a strange, heavy knot started forming in my stomach.

When I reached Angelo’s house, I stepped inside and immediately looked around for Jay.
Seeing one of the maids wiping down the table, I walked up to her.
”Where is Jay?” I asked directly.

”Aries sir, Percy sir, and Jay mam left early in the morning, sir,” the maid answered.

My forehead creased into a deep frown.
“Where did they go?” 🤨
”Percy sir mentioned he had an urgent meeting to attend…
but as for Aries sir and Jay mam, we don’t know where they went,” she explained.
I nodded quietly and let her go.

I sat down on the couch, rubbing my temples.
(Where could they possibly go at this hour without telling anyone?) 🤦♂️
Soon, the rest of the gang arrived, but no one had any clue where Jay was either.
I stood up and walked over to Ci-N, who was leaning against the wall.
”Ci-N, do you know where Jay is?” I asked him, searching his face.

Ci-N shook his head with a clueless pout.
“No idea, Keifer.
I thought she was upstairs with you guys!” 🙅♂️, ci said.
Our review class started shortly after, but neither Jay nor Aries showed up.
⏰ I couldn’t focus on a single word the tutor was saying.
Every few minutes, I kept glancing at the front door.
Finally, after what felt like hours, I heard the familiar engine roar of Aries’ car pulling into the driveway.

”She has a high fever and is sleeping,” Aries lied smoothly, keeping his arms crossed.

I stepped closer, ready to push past him.

Seeing my reaction, Aries quickly leaned closer to me and whispered, “Look, Keifer…
I will accept you as my sister’s boyfriend…
but just let her rest right now, okay?” 🤫❤️
My mind completely froze.

Before I could process my excitement, Kuya Angelo walked down the hall and stopped, looking at Aries sternly.
“Aries, why hasn’t Jay attended today’s class?” 🤨
”She’s not feeling well, Kuya.
She’s resting in her room,” Aries repeated calmly.

Angelo gave a strict nod and walked off.

Even though my gut was still screaming that something was off, hearing Aries finally accept me made my heart soar.

Eventually, we all left, and I drove home.

I tossed my phone onto the bed and forced myself to sleep.

While Aries was fighting off Keifer on the phone, I was at my condo, sitting beside Jay on the dining table.

After cooking a quick meal for her, I pulled out our study materials.

But around nighttime, when Jay video called Aries to check up on things at home, her face suddenly went ghost-white.

It’s much safer if she stays here at my condo for the night.
I’ll handle her review and take care of her.” 🏠✨
Aries sighed deeply over the phone.

Right before I hung up, Jay snapped out of her trance and screamed in panic toward my phone, “Aries!

”I got it!” Aries yelled back before cutting the line..
I turned to Jay, handing her a glass of warm water.
“Hey, breathe.
You’re safe here.

She drank the water with shaky hands, nodded, and we resumed studying until late into the night.

As the clock struck midnight, Jay fell sound asleep at my desk, her head resting on her folded arms.

I gently picked her up and laid her down on the bed, pulling the blanket over her shoulders.
