I was pacing back and forth nervously.

Will Aries be able to calm Keifer and Kuya Angelo alone?
Will they come here searching for me right now?

I’m not ready yet!) 🥺
Aries called 📞 and I picked up instantly, showering him with questions.
“What happened?
Is everything okay there?
What did—” 🙍🏻♀️
Before I could say another word, he cut me off.
“Jay!
Keifer knows that you haven’t been home since yesterday morning.
I somehow managed to hold him off for now.
But come to school tomorrow, Jay!
He won’t wait after that.”
(What?!
I’m not ready yet!
But knowing Keifer and Kuya, I have no choice.) 😨
”Okay…
I will,” I said softly, and hung up.
Percy walked over and told me to relax, assuring me that they would understand.
(I know they will understand…
but will I be able to tell them?) 🥺
I went to bed with Percy by my side, gently trying to calm me down.
I eventually fell asleep, worrying about what tomorrow would bring.
Next Morning 🌄
I woke up at 6:30 AM.
Percy teased me, saying he thought I had fallen into a coma because he had been trying to wake me up for half an hour with zero response.
😅 Honestly, I didn’t even realize he was trying!
I glanced at the clock.
”Oh no!
I’m going to be late!
If I don’t show up on time, it will be a total disaster!
💥” I gasped, running straight to the bathroom for a shower 🚿.
Yes!
I take a shower every single day now.
Hehe…

How will I convince Keifer?) I kept overthinking.

Ten minutes later, I finished showering and put on my school uniform.
Percy had ordered breakfast boxes from Domino’s.
We ate quickly as time ticked away.
He even tried to steal my food, but I glared at him so hard that he backed off with a guilty smirk.
We headed off to school in his car.
As the distance between me and the school shrank, my heart rate spiked.
I was terrified—not of them, but of my own mind.
Percy squeezed my hand, reassuring me that everything would be fine, but…

We reached the school, and he helped me out of the car.
Suddenly, I heard Section E screaming with pure joy.
As Section E came charging down the corridor toward me in a massive, noisy crowd, a sudden wave of suffocating dizziness hit me like a physical blow.

The sound of their voices twisted into distorted, echoing screams.
The bright school hallway began to blur and dissolve into thin air, replaced by that cold, dark, terrifying vision again—a foggy, silent graveyard with towering black tombstones staring right back at me.

My lungs constricted.
I couldn’t breathe.
Air wasn’t reaching my chest.

”Stop…
please…
back off…” I gasped weakly, my vision fading to black as my legs gave out, and I collapsed hard onto the concrete floor!

Keifer POV: 🖤
“JAY!!” I screamed, sprinting past the crowd like a madman.
🏃♂️💨
Before I could reach her, Percy darted forward and placed himself like a human shield over her fallen body, shoving the crowd back.

Percy (shouting with pure rage): “CAN’T YOU ALL BACK THE HELL OFF FOR ONCE?!
GIVE HER SOME SPACE!
ALL OF YOU, STEP BACK RIGHT NOW!!” 🗣️🤬💥
The entire courtyard instantly fell into a dead, terrified silence.
Section E froze, looking completely stunned and heartbroken by Percy’s explosion.
They slowly backed away, heads hanging low with guilt and confusion.

I shoved past Percy and dropped to my knees beside Jay, gently pulling her head into my lap.
Her skin was icy cold, covered in a light sheen of sweat.

”Jay…
Jay, please look at me!” I begged, squeezing her ice-cold, trembling fingers.
🤝💓
Percy knelt down beside me and whispered urgently, “Keifer…
help her up.
Take her inside the classroom before Sir Alvin sees this crowd.” 🤫
I carefully wrapped my arm around her waist and guided her into Section E’s classroom.
Sir Alvin walked in right behind us.
Sensing the heavy, unusual atmosphere, Sir Alvin allowed Jay to sit right beside me for the two-hour review session and mock exam.

During the entire exam, I couldn’t focus on a single question.
I finished my paper early just so I could sit back and watch over her like a bodyguard.
Slowly, as the silence of the room settled around her, Jay’s rapid breathing slowed down, and the faint color returned to her lips.

Sir Alvin collected our answer sheets and left the room.

The second the classroom cleared out, I turned toward her, my eyes stinging with unshed tears.
”Jay…
please tell me what’s going on,” I whispered, my voice breaking.
“What is this condition Aries and Percy kept talking about?!” 😭💔
Jay looked down at her lap, her fingers trembling as she squeezed the hem of her skirt.
(Please tell me now, Jay!
I can’t hold on any longer…
I can’t bear seeing you like this.) 🥺
