Slowly, as the minutes passed, the icy feeling in my chest began to melt.
By the time the two-hour review exam ended, my heart rate had normalized, and the panic attack completely subsided.

Sir Alvin gathered the papers.
“Results will be posted in two weeks.
You are all dismissed.” 👨🏫🚪
Once the classroom cleared out, Keifer turned his body toward me.
His eyes were red, filled with raw pain and desperation.

I looked down at my lap, unable to meet his eyes.

But every time I get overwhelmed or go back to Kuya Angelo’s house…

Without saying another word, I pulled her tightly into my arms, burying my face in her shoulder.

I took her hand, led her to my car, and opened the passenger door.
Aries had already agreed to let me drive her home today.

Midway down the road, I pulled the car over onto a quiet side street and turned off the engine.
I turned to look at her, tears welling up in my eyes despite my best efforts to hold them back.

why did you go to Percy’s condo without telling me?” I asked softly, my chest burning.
“Please don’t ever vanish like that again…

Seeing the strong, arrogant Keifer looking so vulnerable and teary-eyed broke my heart into a million pieces.

Before he could say another word, I leaned across the center console, grabbed his cheeks, and pressed my lips onto his.

Keifer melted into the kiss, wrapping his hands tightly around my waist.
When we finally pulled apart, our foreheads rested against each other.

I promise I won’t ever do it again,” I whispered.

A bright, genuine smile broke across his face.
He drove me the rest of the way home.
But when he parked outside my gate, he didn’t unlock the doors.
He just stared at me like a puppy 🐶who didn’t want his owner to leave.

“So…” I giggled softly.
“Do you want to go on a date with me?” 🗓️✨
Keifer’s eyes widened in complete disbelief.
Before I could react, he pulled me in and kissed me again with full passion!

He wrapped me in a massive hug, kissed my forehead gently, and unlocked the car.
“I can’t wait for the day after tomorrow, wifey!” 🚗💨

I heard his car 🚗 moving back .he was going home.

I sat in my car, watching Jay stand safely outside her house gate through my rearview mirror.
I couldn’t stop smiling.

I can’t express how happy I was.
After all that happened between us..we made it.
We are together.
Suddenly, my smile vanished.
A black SUV with tinted windows came speeding down the narrow street from behind!

I slammed my foot on the brakes hard!

Looks like everyone has gone silent!
