Jay-Jay POV:
Today was finally discharge day.
I woke up early and changed into the fresh clothes Aries had brought.
We all walked out of the hospital together, where Percy headed back to his place while Aries had already gone home earlier in the morning.
Soon, it was just Keifer and me standing in the parking lot.
We both got into his car, and he turned the key in the ignition.
Today is the day, I thought.
No one is here to interrupt us.
About halfway home, I turned to him.
“Keifer, park the car on the side of the road.”
Keifer looked confused, but he pulled over safely.
“What happened, Jay?”
Jay (nervously): “Keifer…”
Keifer: “Yes, wifey?”
Jay: “Do you remember what you asked me that day?”
Keifer: “Jay, I ask you a million things a day.
Which one do you mean—”
Before he could finish, I reached over and grabbed him firmly by his collar.
Keifer (swallowing hard): “Jay, what are you doing?”
I yanked him closer by his collar and kissed him right on the lips.
He melted into the kiss instantly, his lips moving in sync with mine.
My grip on his collar tightened as the kiss deepened, only pulling back when we both ran completely out of breath.
Without warning, Keifer lifted me onto his lap and rested his forehead against mine, his chest heaving.
Keifer (breathing heavily): “Jay…
what did I do to deserve this reward?”
Jay (teasing): “Why do you want to know?”
Keifer (smirking): “So I can do it over and over again and keep getting rewarded.”😏
Ah!
He really can do anything for my kisses.🤭
I looked into his eyes, getting serious.
Jay: “Keifer, I’ve been trying to tell you this for a long time, but something always interrupts us.
So listen carefully, because I’m only going to say this once.
You asked me to be your girlfriend…
and I’m ready.
I want to be with you.”
Keifer POV:
When Jay asked me to pull over on our way to Angelo’s house, I was confused.
Then she mentioned something I had said to her before, but before I could clarify, she grabbed my collar.
Honestly, whenever Jay gets angry or aggressive with me, I get a little terrified, so I asked her what she was doing.
Then she kissed me.😳
It was the very first time she had ever kissed me on her own initiative👉🏻👈🏻.
I completely lost myself in the moment.
When we finally broke apart, breathless, I pulled her onto my lap and rested my forehead against hers.
Then she gave me the answer I’ve been waiting for: she wanted to be my girlfriend.😳
I felt like I was dreaming.
Without a second thought, I pulled her into another deep, passionate kiss 💋.
When we separated, I stared at her, still unable to process it.
Keifer: “Are you really sure?
You’re not joking, right?”
Jay smiled and nodded.
This was officially the happiest day of my entire life.
I wrapped my arms tightly around her.
After a moment, she climbed back into her seat, looking slightly flustered.
Jay: “We can’t make this official yet, okay?
I’m not ready to face Section E and Kuya Angelo.”
I nodded reluctantly.
I wanted to scream it from the rooftops and be with her every single second without wasting another moment, but I respected her decision.
A few minutes later, we pulled up to Angelo’s house.
Before stepping out of the car, Jay leaned over and planted a quick kiss on my cheek.😳👉🏻👈🏻
Jay (grinning): “I didn’t know the Mark Keifer Watson could blush so hard!
You look cute and hot at the same time.” 🤭
Before I could even form a sentence, she jumped out and ran inside.
I sat in the driver’s seat, feeling an overwhelming wave of happiness.
Tears of joy actually welled up in my eyes.
I wiped my face, let out a deep breath, and drove back to my house.
When I walked in, Keigan and Keiran immediately ran over and hugged me.
Keifer: “Hey, is everything okay?”
They nodded.
I headed upstairs, showered, and changed out of my clothes.
When I came back down, the maid informed me that lunch was served.
While Keigan, Keiran, and I were eating, Keiran looked up.
“Kuya…
is Jay okay?”
Keifer: “She’s fine now.
Why do you ask?”
Keiran: “I was just casually asking if Ate Jay was okay.”
My fork paused mid-air.
Did he just say Ate Jay?!🥳
Keifer: “Wait, what did you just call her?”
Keiran: “Ate Jay.”
A huge smile broke across my face🥰.
He had finally accepted her!
I stood up and pulled Keiran into a tight hug.
Today was officially my lucky day.
After lunch, Keiran went up to his room, but Keigan lingered near the table, looking heavy and silent.
Keifer: “Keigan?
Do you need something?”
He didn’t answer.
I walked over to him, and suddenly, Keigan threw his arms around my waist and burst into tears.
Keifer (worried): “Hey, what happened?
Why are you crying?”
Keigan (sobbing): “I’m sorry, Kuya…
I’m so sorry.”
Keifer: “Why are you apologizing?”
Keigan (in one breath): “Kuya, that day when Keiran and Jay drank the glue and the Monster came to our house…
you saw those red marks on her neck that weren’t made by him.
It was me, Kuya.
I tried to strangle her!”
My heart stopped😨.
“Keigan…
what are you talking about?”, I somehow managed to ask.
Keigan: “I’m sorry, Kuya!
But that wasn’t me—it was the monster he created inside me!
I’m so sorry!”
I wrapped my arms around him tightly, 🫂holding him until his sobbing slowed down.
Keigan (sniffling): “Kuya, I want to accept Jay too…
but the monster inside me hates her.”
Keifer: “Don’t worry, Keigan.
Nothing bad is going to happen.
Go to your room and get some rest.”
I went up to my bedroom, my mind racing.
Why didn’t Jay ever tell me about what Keigan did?

She was probably protecting him, not wanting to cause a rift.
Missing her already, I pulled out my phone and dialed her number.
She picked up on the second ring, and before I could say much, she asked me to meet her at the park at 4:00 PM.
I agreed, and she hung up.
Jay-Jay POV:
When I got home from the hospital, I went straight to my room.
Sitting on my bed, memories of the past—specifically the dark visions I saw during Ram’s attack—started flooding back into my head.
Suddenly, my phone buzzed.
It was Keifer.
Before he could say anything, I spoke.
Jay: “Hey, meet me at the park at 4:00 PM.”
It was already 3:30 PM, so I threw on some casual clothes and walked downstairs.
Kuya Angelo was in the living room.
Angelo: “Where are you going, Jay?”
Jay: “Just heading to the park for some fresh air.”
Angelo: “Alright, just make sure you come back early.”
I nodded and headed out.
When I reached the park, I spotted Keifer standing near the trees.
I started walking in his direction.
Keifer POV:
I had driven straight to the park from my house.
A few minutes after I arrived, I saw Jay walking through the gates.
She caught my eye and started heading straight toward me.
Author’s pov:
Jay sat on the bench, her voice trembling as she prepared to open up about the dark trauma she had kept buried for so long.
Keifer gently pulled her into his arms, resting his chin on her head.
“Shh…
no need to tell me if you are not ready,” he whispered softly.
Jay pulled back slightly, looking straight into his eyes.
“No, Keifer.
I am ready.”
What is jay going to reveal now?
Is this a part of her memory?or something else?even darker and secretive ?
