Nicholas’s POV
Before I went to sleep, I had to clean the cum off the door while looking around to see if whoever it was would show up. When no one showed up, I returned to my room and passed out the very next minute.
I woke up to my phone buzzing on the nightstand and I groggily reached for it, placing it over my ear without bothering to see who it was.
"Hello?" I muttered sleepily, wiping my lips gently.
"Your supplies are ready. You can come get them when you’re ready."
I shot up immediately as the storekeeper’s voice brought me out of my sleepy state.
"They’re ready?" I asked in happiness and he hummed in response. "Thank you so freaking much. I’ll be there after school!"
As soon as the call ended, I danced around in my bed for a moment before letting out a sigh of relief.
The pleasure from fucking myself was great. I couldn’t deny that. But I didn’t want to keep depending on it to feel better, especially after knowing that someone was busy jerking off me every night.
It was sexy. Yet very creepy.
I was elated that I wouldn’t need to feel nervous when being with the others. I would even be able to join them for dinner tonight.
With a happy smile, I cleaned up my room, kept the dildo and vibrator hidden in my closet, and then freshened up.
Calling omegas weak was so insulting. If only they knew what we went through. They wouldn’t be able to handle it for one day if they tried.
I made my way downstairs with a smile on my face and when Elijah saw me, he looked at me in surprise, like he couldn’t believe I was actually smiling.
"Join us for breakfast, Nico." I heard my mom say and glanced at the table to see that everyone was present at the table, making me nervous.
"You look like we’re gonna bite you." Roman said as he got up and forced me to the table before pushing me down to sit.
"I’m gonna be late." I muttered shakily and Elijah snorted as he took a seat beside me while I glared at him.
"Just eat a little and we’ll leave together. No one would dare question you with me around." He said, hitting his chest in a boastful manner and it was my turn to snort.
Eating breakfast with them was surprisingly not as bad as I thought it would be. Elijah was loud and funny and ended up bickering with Roman who didn’t let him have his way.
Somehow, Cassian was looking out for me. When I reached for the ketchup but couldn’t get it, he got it for me instead. While Adrian... he was busy watching me.
If I didn’t know better, I’d have thought he was smirking.
"Enough, Roman." Elijah finally said in exasperation as he got up. "Let’s go, Nicholas. These men are nothing but big bullies."
"Because you’re being a big baby." I muttered under my breath and he scoffed, grabbing my hand as he pulled me with him.
"Nicholas." Adrian suddenly called out and I stopped, adjusting my bag over my shoulder as I turned to him.
"Yes?"
"Your door is unbelievably... clean this morning." He said and my body went rigid as I stared at him in sheer shock.
He simply smirked at me, wiped his lips and walked away, leaving me in shock as his words made me tremble.
It was him. It was him all along.
He had seen those sex toys that day and must have shown up that night to listen to me use them. Yet he was so shameless as to actually admit it.
"What are you standing there for? Let’s go or we’ll be late." Elijah’s voice drew me out of my shocked state as he dragged me out with him and I didn’t even struggle.
Fuck. What do I do now?
"Wanna ride my car with me?" He asked as he pulled me to his car but I shook my head and pulled away from him.
"I get motion sick when in a car." I confessed and he raised his brow at me before nodding like he didn’t care.
"Let’s walk then." He said and I frowned at him.
"You don’t need to—"
"I’m choosing to. Let’s go." He countered and started to walk out of the mansion while I followed him. "What was that about the door? Why did you look so shocked?"
"Oh, uhm, nothing actually." I lied, my hands in my pockets. "Why do you keep following me around?" I asked, changing the subject and he scoffed.
"Because you’re easy to tease. And I like teasing you." He whispered with a grin, making me roll my eyes in annoyance.
By the time we got to the university, I managed to get out of his grip since we had different classes at that moment. Lucky me.
As soon as class ended, I was out of the university before Elijah could find me and forcefully follow me to the store. That would be a disaster.
I took the hidden route as usual and made my way to the store where the storekeeper was already waiting for me.
"Thank you." I said to him as he handed me the little box of supplies and he stared at me for a moment before whispering to me.
"How did you manage those days?" He asked and my face went red as I turned away and he laughed in amusement. "It’s good you took my advice. These supplies are expensive, you know. Don’t waste your savings all the time."
I walked out of the store after talking with him for a while and made my way home. I was in such a lovely mood that I even whistled as I walked up the stairs. After hiding the box under my bed, I returned downstairs.
Everyone who returned and saw me downstairs nearly choked in surprise because I was always locked up in my room.
When it was time for dinner, I was the first to sit at the dining table, waiting for everyone to come downstairs. All I had to do was eat, then return upstairs and use my inhibitors.
Life was good again.
"Did the world come to an end or something?" Elijah asked in shock when he saw me seated and waiting for dinner.
"Cut him some slack. It’s good he’s joining us for dinner." Roman said behind him and took a seat beside me before Elijah could make it here.
"Bully." Elijah glared at Roman as he sat beside him and in no time, the table was filled with everyone as dinner was served.
Adrian sat in front of me and I avoided his gaze completely even though he kept staring at me. I felt embarrassed after knowing he had heard me do crazy things.
Minutes into eating, with Roman and Elijah bickering as usual, it suddenly became so windy that the windows burst open.
Everyone froze in shock as the wind howled even louder and the house actually shook. I was terrified as I stood up and Gareth stood up as well.
"Everyone stay put."
I would stay put. But then it started raining heavily and water began to rush into the house.
"Oh no..." I said in horror as I stumbled backwards and just then, a vase fell to the ground, shattering loudly.
I flinched in fear but suddenly, I felt someone wrap his arms around me and I glanced up to see Adrian looking down at me in worry.
"Mr Blackthorne!" Someone called out from upstairs. "The pipes have all burst, and water has filled the rooms!"
No... Not my room...
