The warehouse had been rented earlier on the way here. It was located in the suburbs, about a hundred square meters in size. That area was full of warehouses large and small. With trucks coming and going, no one paid attention to what goods you transported each day, and no one would know when anything was moved out. Later, once the items were stored in her spatial storage, everything would become much more convenient.

After that, she went to a grocery and seasoning store to buy salt, sugar, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, vinegar, cooking wine, star anise, cinnamon, cumin, salt and pepper seasoning, chili powder, hot pot base, pickled fish seasoning packets, various pre-made cooking spice packs, barbecue seasoning, doubanjiang (fermented bean paste), beef sauce, chili sauce, ketchup, sesame paste, and many other seasonings.

In the apocalypse, seasonings would become scarce resources. Once factories shut down, they would only become more and more limited with every use, until eventually they were gone. As before, she also took the shop owner’s contact information to make future purchases easier.Full novel: Apocalypse Farming: I Stockpile Hundreds of Thousands of Goods Using My Space Ability — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Unlike rice and oil, these items were smaller in size, and she bought them in relatively small quantities, so they could be directly placed in the vehicle. The vehicle had privacy protection, it allowed people inside to see outside, but people outside could not see in. Once she got into the vehicle, she stored everything into her spatial storage.

After finishing, she checked the time and drove to the warehouse. When renting the warehouse, she had also hired a manager to handle daily unloading and logistics, so she didn’t need to rush there for every delivery. She only needed to go at night to store the goods into her space. As for the goods “disappearing” the next day, she could simply say she had arranged for someone to move them away overnight. Most people wouldn’t pay attention to something like that.

On the way there, she casually ate a few of the buns she had bought earlier. By the time she arrived at the warehouse, unloading was still in progress, though it was already nearly finished. It would only take a little longer.

By the time everything had been fully unloaded, it was already 8:30 p.m. After settling wages with the driver and the unloading workers, and paying the grain and oil shop owner for the goods, everyone left. Jiang Li waited for another half an hour or so before entering the warehouse.

Because she had to physically touch items in order to store them into her spatial storage, it took quite a long time to finish everything.

Tomorrow, she would need to order a few shelving racks as well. That would make organizing and retrieving items much easier.

After leaving the warehouse, Jiang Li did not plan to go home. Instead, she headed to a relatively large night market not far from the city. She had only eaten a few buns during the day, so of course she needed to properly treat herself now.

By the time she drove to the night market, it was already 9:30 p.m. The streets were full of people coming and going, laughter and lively chatter filling the air. The bustling, human atmosphere made Jiang Li pause for a moment in a daze. It had been a long time since she had felt such a scene. In fact, she would likely never see it again in another six months, or at least, she hadn’t seen anything like it again before she died in her previous life.

Snapping back to her senses, she looked at the wide variety of food stalls and inhaled the rich aromas drifting through the air. Her mouth practically watered. Without hesitation, she quickly walked deeper into the market.

Barbecue, cold noodles, stinky tofu, teppanyaki squid, takoyaki, fried potatoes, roujiamo (Chinese meat burgers)… Jiang Li went from one end of the street to the other, basically buying everything from every stall. She took two portions of each item, one to eat on the spot, and another she casually slipped into her spatial storage. Only after eating and drinking her fill did she slowly head home.

After returning home and doing a simple wash-up, she took out the printed checklist from the previous day and ticked off everything she had bought today, then added a few new items.

Looking at the bank balance on her phone, she had spent 500,000 today, leaving 1.3 million in the account. She decided that tomorrow she would first go order the shelving racks, then buy a few water storage containers. Water resources in the future would become extremely scarce, so she needed to prepare as much as possible in advance. The priority was to stock up on essential supplies first.

About half an hour’s drive from the apartment, there was a large farmers’ market. It had a wide variety of vegetables and meat, with everything available. She planned to go there tomorrow to shop, and also buy some seeds and fruit saplings to plant inside her space.

Jiang Li had already tested it, animals could survive in the right-side space, but unfortunately, humans could not enter.

She dug several large pits in the right-side space and filled them with water, planning to use them tomorrow to store live shrimp, fish, and similar seafood. Shrimp were too small, and she worried they might be eaten if kept together with fish. Since the space was large enough, she decided to raise them separately.

Then she reclaimed several plots of empty land to plant trees and seeds the next day. Everything in the space could be controlled with her mind, which was extremely convenient, doing it manually would have taken who knows how long.

Before going to sleep, Jiang Li organized the supplies inside her space once more. Looking at the neatly stored resources, she finally felt a slight sense of security. At least in this life, she no longer had to worry about food the way she did in her previous one.
