“Ahhh…”

“Don’t…”

The woman’s moans rose higher and higher.Full novel: Apocalypse Side Character: Her Devoted Bodyguard Turns Out to Be the Zombie Emperor — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Amid them came…

A certain kind of roar.

A certain kind of splashing.

A certain kind of impact.

Wen Chu was awakened by these sounds.

Mosquitoes in the middle of winter? she thought groggily.

There was a strange buzzing sound.

No.

She suddenly opened her eyes.

Dark purple light. A shaking double bed.

The stuffy air was filled with an intense musky scent.

Hadn’t she gotten a cramp while swimming and drowned?

This place looked nothing like a swimming pool lounge, much less a hospital.

And why was she lying on the floor?

A sharp pain shot through the back of her head, as though someone had smashed it with a hammer.

She reached up and touched it, her fingertips encountering a sunken hole.

It was about the size of an egg.

What the hell? How was she still alive after that?

Her heart pounded wildly. She slowly turned her head and saw two intertwined bodies on the double bed beside her.

The woman’s long black hair was spread out messily, covering most of her oval face. Wen Chu could not see what she looked like, but she was moaning passionately.

The man’s muscles were sharply defined, and he moved like a tireless electric drill.

Wait.

Purple light, a double bed, beneath the bed, a hole in the back of her head…

Oh my God!

She had transmigrated into a novel.

She had fallen into that old fashioned apocalypse erotica novel she had cursed a hundred times, The Supreme Little White Lotus: Apocalypse Powerhouses All Fall for Me.

And she had become the vicious supporting female character who shared the same name as her.

In the novel, the original Wen Chu and the male lead, Song Xingci, had grown up together.

On the night the zombie virus broke out, she drugged Song Xingci, intending to force him into sleeping with her.

But Song Xingci would rather die than touch her. He had even dragged a female waitress into the room instead.

That female waitress was none other than the female lead, Shen Chuman, who worked part time at the club while studying.

The original Wen Chu flew into a rage and went over to push and shove them. During the struggle, the back of her head struck the ground, and she died on the spot.

She appeared in the very first chapter and died before she even saw a single zombie.

She was the fastest eliminated supporting character in history.

And now, her soul had entered the body of that supporting character.

It was two in the morning. The zombie virus had only broken out two hours ago.

The man and woman on the bed knew nothing about it and were currently going at it as though nothing else in the world mattered.

According to the plot, because of the effects of the drug, the male lead would hold the female lead and keep going until dawn.

Afterward, the two of them would awaken their abilities.

The male lead would awaken a lightning ability, while the female lead would awaken a spatial ability.

From then on, they would join hands to slaughter zombies, recruit followers, stockpile supplies, and eventually become overlords of the apocalypse.

As for Wen Chu, she would not even be mentioned by name again.

Just as she was thinking this…

A crisp metallic sound rang out.

A sapphire ring rolled off the bed and happened to land beside her hand.

It was the male lead’s ancestral ring.

Thinking of the male lead’s lucky protagonist constitution, Wen Chu’s eyes lit up.

She glanced at the two people on the bed, who were still wrapped up in each other and had not noticed anything beneath the bed.

She reached out and tremblingly picked up the ring.

The blood on the back of her head had not yet dried.

She dipped a finger into it and smeared some blood onto the ring.

Nothing happened.

She gritted her teeth and simply threw the ring into the pool of blood on the floor.

The next second, the ring seemed to come alive as it greedily absorbed the blood.

A vast space suddenly exploded into existence within Wen Chu’s mind.

Endless land stretched out before her. There were mountains in the distance, a river nearby, and a clear spring at the foot of the mountain.

A space!

Her golden finger had arrived!

And it was an infinite space!

She tried to enter the space, but unfortunately, she could not enter with her own body.

Then she thought about it.

She had stolen the space from the male lead. What more could she possibly ask for?

She touched the spring with her consciousness, and a cool liquid seemed to flow into her throat along with her thoughts.

She gulped down several mouthfuls. Her whole body felt as though it had been struck by an electric current, and every cell trembled.

She tried to mobilize her mental power.

There was no gold in her palm, no fire, no lightning, no wood…

Nothing at all.

The only thing she could feel was a strange warmth coming from the wound on the back of her head, which was slowly healing.

A healing ability.

Has she awakened a healing ability?

In the apocalypse, wasn’t that the ability most likely to turn its user into a tool, the most likely to be coveted by others, and the least capable of protecting itself?

Wen Chu’s heart sank.

No. She did not want to become a walking blood bag.

But the next second, she suddenly froze.

Wait.

That egg sized hole in the back of her head…

She reached back and touched it.

The shattered pieces of bone had not grown back.

Instead, they seemed to be reversing through time, restoring themselves piece by piece to their original positions.

This was not regeneration.

It was a restoration.

Even the blood on the floor and the stains on her fingers had disappeared completely, as though they had never existed.

This was definitely not a healing ability.

It was clear…

Her heart pounded like a drum as she tried directing her gaze toward the bracelet on her wrist.

It was made of pure silver and diamonds.

With a thought, she moved it.

The bracelet tugged once.

Then again.

Then once more.

If her wrist had not been holding it back, it probably would have flown away.

Wen Chu’s breathing suddenly quickened.

She looked at the puddle of water on the floor.

The water had been spilled because the male and female leads had been too intense, leaving a glass tipped over on the carpet.

She stared at the puddle and gritted her teeth as she exerted herself.

The water began to shrink, as though an invisible hand were pushing it back toward the mouth of the glass. Every last drop slipped back inside.

The glass righted itself on its own. Its surface was spotless, without even a fingerprint left behind.

Wen Chu bit her lip tightly to keep herself from laughing out loud.

A control ability!

She had not awakened some healing ability at all. She had awakened a control ability!

No one in this novel had ever awakened a control ability!

But she had read another apocalypse novel where the true male lead possessed this very ability.

It was incredibly powerful.

It could control all things, including any physical object, humans, zombies, mutated animals, and zombie mutated animals.

Once the ability reached a higher level, it could even control people’s thoughts and their minds.

It could make people kneel, make them die, or make them willingly submit.

She had not realized what was happening earlier because control abilities had a fatal weakness in the early stages.

They could not create things out of thin air. They could only control things that already existed.

For example, she could control the water that had spilled onto the floor, but unlike someone with a water ability, she could not generate water herself.

She had thought she was healing herself, when in reality she had been controlling her bones and making them return to their proper positions.

Wen Chu took a deep breath and forced herself to calm her pounding heart.

She could not celebrate too soon.

Her level was still far too low. After repairing the wound on the back of her head, even controlling a single glass of water had left her vision swimming with exhaustion.

On the bed, the male and female leads were still completely absorbed in each other and had not noticed her at all.

Wen Chu had no intention of saying hello.

She lay flat on the floor and quietly wriggled toward the door like a caterpillar.

The doorknob was cold.

She gently turned it open just enough to create a narrow gap and squeezed herself through.

Halfway out, she froze.

Who could have imagined that there would still be another room outside this room, and that there would be people inside it?

Three men were playing cards.

How could she have forgotten? Song Xingci had arranged this gathering at the club, where he was spending time with his childhood friends.

The original Wen Chu had shamelessly insisted on tagging along.

But what kind of decent person puts a bed inside a card room?

Was this really a proper club?

Three pairs of eyes turned toward her in unison.

“Goodness, what happened to you?”

A lazy voice came from nearby.

The tall, thin man closest to her stubbed out the cigarette in his hand and hurried over. He grabbed her under the arms and lifted her up like a child.

“Little Wen Chu, wake up! You can’t sleep here!”
