A Tier 6 Zombie.

Its Blood Volume was higher than all the zombies Yuna Bishop had ever encountered combined!

With shriveled skin like withered wood, the Tier 6 Zombie was as tall as a two-story building!

Its Blood Volume was an astonishing 5,000!

And that wasn’t all—it even had a buff!

[Withered Wood Spring: When Blood Volume drops below 30%, instantly restores 50% Blood Volume.]

In other words, the zombie actually had over 7,500 Blood Volume!

Yuna Bishop’s Small Nail Gun and Crossbow weren’t even enough to withstand a single swat from that zombie.

If not now, when was the time to escape?!

Still, this zombie had been insidiously clever about hiding.

None of the players in this area had discovered it, and it had never shown itself before.

One could only imagine what would happen if a player stumbled into its hiding place…

With the appearance of the Tier 6 Zombie, all the players in the vicinity fled in a mad scramble.

Thanks to her Talent bonus, Yuna Bishop was the fastest runner.

The players behind her couldn’t even drag her down with them if they wanted to.

Yuna Bishop wasn’t one to just sit around and wait for death.

If those players tried to pull the same stunt Tiger had, their fate would be the same as his.

It would have been better if those players hadn’t come out.

The moment they did, they drew the full attention of the zombie horde.

Of course, the group of players trapped in the apartment building couldn’t expect to escape either.

Yuna Bishop watched as the Tier 6 Zombie smashed through a wall with one punch and plucked the players hiding inside the apartment out one by one.

Their fate was easy to imagine.

To be honest, Yuna Bishop’s actions could be called malicious.

She was the kind of person who would resort to a tactic that hurt the enemy by a thousand but cost her eight hundred.

Among the players caught in the zombie tide, there were surely some who, like her, had entered the game for their families.

But Yuna Bishop had chosen this path anyway.

She felt no psychological burden over it; her Emotion Value didn’t fluctuate in the slightest.

With limited resources, even without competing for prize money, their positions were kill-or-be-killed.

Never mind that NPC Merchants offered supplies for trade—the Low Tier, easy-to-kill zombies were, in essence, a type of resource themselves.

‘To save Grandma, I’ll do whatever it takes.’

The players’ appearance had sent the zombies from all directions into a frenzy, blocking nearly every road.

The players, who had been fleeing in one direction, were scattered by the horde.

Led by Noir, Yuna Bishop ran down a path with the fewest zombies.

A few quick-witted players noticed Noir and quickly fell in behind Yuna Bishop.

However, an ordinary person couldn’t keep up with Yuna Bishop and Noir’s Speed.

With the Sprinting Champion Talent, Yuna Bishop’s running speed was double that of a normal player.

And yet, some players still managed to keep pace with her.

A small wave from the horde followed, led by a Tier 4 Zombie.

With the horde backing it up, it would be difficult for Yuna Bishop to kill it.

There was no choice but to run.

The horde followed closely behind them.

One player stared at Yuna Bishop’s frail-looking back, a vicious glint in his eyes, and reached out to grab her backpack!

“AHHH!!!”

A bloodcurdling scream rang out—but it wasn’t Yuna Bishop’s.

It was from the player who had tried to use her as a human shield.

Noir’s eyes were cold and cruel.

Its sharp canines bit viciously into his wrist, and the sound of bone snapping was clearly audible.

But even so, the man had no intention of letting go of Yuna Bishop.

However, this player had forgotten one thing.

This wasn’t reality, and Yuna Bishop wasn’t some helpless little girl with no way to fight back.

Yuna Bishop might look delicate, but she was absolutely ruthless.

Without hesitation, she used her Nail Gun to shoot and kill the player who intended to use her as a shield.

A Talent Card and his legacy items floated above the player’s corpse.

From that pitifully small legacy, Noir quickly snatched up two items and continued to lead Yuna Bishop away.

The surrounding players who witnessed this felt a chill run down their spines, seeing how viciously and decisively the girl and her dog had acted.

They secretly memorized Yuna Bishop’s appearance, vowing to avoid her from now on.

‘That little girl looks so sweet and fragile, but she’s so ruthless!’

Yuna Bishop didn’t care.

After leaving the instance, no one would recognize anyone else anyway.

In the next instance, their first impression of her would still be of a skinny, easy-to-bully girl.

Assuming they survived that long.

This was the game’s protection mechanism for players.

Otherwise, grudges from the game spilling over into the real world would be very dangerous.

Gender, age, and appearance all became indistinct, leaving only a vague impression.

However, the events they experienced would not be forgotten.

Yuna Bishop herself wasn’t afraid, but she couldn’t let her grandmother get involved.

The game’s protection mechanism neatly solved Yuna Bishop’s worries, which was why she dared to be so audacious inside the instances.

She didn’t know how long they had been running, but the zombie horde was still glued to her and Noir’s heels.

Noir had wanted to lure the horde away on its own, but unfortunately, it didn’t draw as much aggro as Yuna Bishop.

It ran off for a bit, then came back to rejoin Yuna Bishop.

Yuna Bishop was planning to find a sturdy building to deal with the horde, but somehow, the duo ran into increasingly desolate territory.

“BANG—!”

Before Yuna Bishop could figure out how to deal with the zombies, a sudden gunshot startled her.

In this game, the only ones who could afford the luxury of using bullets to kill zombies were NPCs.

‘The Old District, NPCs…’

‘The Watcher Organization!’

Yuna Bishop’s eyes lit up, and she immediately looked toward the source of the gunfire!

Sure enough, amid the ruins of a building, Yuna Bishop spotted a well-equipped, masked squad.

They were raising their guns to eliminate the zombies Yuna Bishop had led there.

As gunshots rang out, the zombies behind her fell one by one.

The insignia on their uniforms was the same as the one on that box.

Two small red dots appeared on Yuna Bishop and Noir’s heads.

Knowing what was good for her, she immediately raised her hands in surrender.

“I found a box on the edge of the city!”

“It has the same symbol you guys have!”

Yuna Bishop shouted immediately, making her intentions clear.

Sure enough, after Yuna Bishop yelled this, the red dot on her head disappeared.

The masked figures gestured for Yuna Bishop to approach.

Yuna Bishop wasn’t sure if these people were friend or foe, but their gear was too good.

She didn’t have the right to refuse.

With Noir in tow, and under the cover of the masked figures, Yuna Bishop successfully escaped the pursuing zombies and entered the ruins.

The moment she entered the ruins, Yuna Bishop was hit by the thick smell of blood.

Only then did she realize that many of these people were injured.

Clearly, they were short on medicine.

“…”

Yuna Bishop’s eyes glinted, and she offered a friendly smile.

‘Time for a gamble.

Maybe I can turn this bike into a motorcycle.’

“Um, I have a few medical supplies here.”
