Jian Ke looked at Jian Cha and silently thought, Serves you right.

Now that she had gotten her things back, naturally, she could not let the person go either.

People could not be killed in peaceful times, but teaching someone a lesson should be fine, right?Full novel: Apocalypse: The Interstellar Powerhouse Transmigrates into a Novel and Shocks the World! — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Jian Ke tossed the jade gourd into the space for Shiqi to scan, then grabbed Jian Cha by the hair and dragged her away from her seat.

“Jian Ke, what are you doing!” Jian Cha cried out in pain and wanted to call for help, but unfortunately, the only servant in the house, Sister Zhang, was nowhere to be seen.

She could only struggle to keep up with Jian Ke’s pace.

“Not calling me Sis anymore?” Jian Ke dragged Jian Cha along by her hair at a brisk pace, casually chatting with her as she walked.

“Someone like you doesn’t deserve to be called my sister!” Jian Cha shouted, distracted by the pain coming from her scalp and completely unable to see the situation clearly.

Jian Ke sneered.

Exactly. This was how they were.

Jian Cha and her mother had always pretended to be good to her in front of outsiders, while secretly doing everything they could to make things difficult for her.

Thinking of this, Jian Ke quickened her steps even more. Ignoring Jian Cha’s curses behind her, she dragged her all the way to the pool where Jian Ke had been pushed into the water yesterday.

Wasn’t Jian Cha fond of stealing other people’s things? Didn’t she like pushing people into the water?

Then Jian Cha could experience that feeling herself.

With that thought, Jian Ke found a spot where the water was shallower and shoved Jian Cha’s head into it.

Jian Cha screamed as filthy water rushed through her nose and mouth and into her body. She could only stop screaming and struggle desperately.

Jian Ke had never intended to kill her. After holding her under for a few minutes, she pulled her back out.

Of course, she did so by her hair.

“Jian Ke, you bitch! How dare you treat me like this?”

Hearing that Jian Cha still had enough strength to curse at her, Jian Ke shoved her back under the water.

After a short while, she pulled her out again.

“Jian Ke, you’ve gone crazy!”

“Don’t you care that Dad might never love you again?”

When force did not work, Jian Cha could only soften her approach. Who knew how much dirty water she had swallowed by now?

She secretly hated Jian Ke for daring to treat her like this, but outwardly, she obediently begged for mercy.

She was only thinking about getting away first and taking revenge later.

Jian Ke did not care what she was thinking, nor did she listen to her empty promises. After repeatedly shoving her underwater a few more times until she grew bored, she kicked Jian Cha into the pool.

If anything happened to her after that, it would simply mean that she was unlucky. It would not be Jian Ke’s fault.

So when Xiao Er woke up, he saw that his host had done something this earth-shattering.

He had only taken a nap. How had things become like this?!

“Host, are you feeling unwell?”

“I heard the Main God say before that the female lead cannot be killed by the female supporting character, or she will be punished. Are you all right?”

When Jian Ke did not respond for a long time, Xiao Er became anxious and began to whimper. “Waaah, waaah… I was only just separated from the Main God. How did I already lose my host?”

Jian Ke really wanted to beat him up.

It was obviously just that this body was too weak and she was a little exhausted. Why was he crying as though she had died?

“Shut up.” Shiqi happened to return after finishing his scan. Seeing that Jian Ke did not look well, he bought her a physical recovery potion from the system space.

Jian Ke took it and drank it.

Anything produced by the system was bound to be high quality. In an instant, the discomfort disappeared without a trace.

But this body was simply too weak.

Jian Ke thought about it and decided that she needed to start exercising as soon as possible. According to the novel, the Apocalypse would begin in three months, so there was more than enough time.

With that, she quickly walked back to the Jian family villa.

“Well, well, isn’t this the eldest young lady?” Sister Zhang was mopping the floor at that moment. When she saw Jian Ke, her tone became rather sarcastic.

She still remembered how this person had refused to get up and prepare breakfast that morning.

When Jian Ke saw her, scenes from the original host’s memories surfaced in her mind. After seeing them all, she summed it up in four words.

An evil servant bullying her master.

Jian Ke had still been willing to exchange a few words with Jian Cha, but when faced with Sister Zhang, she directly kicked her.

“Bullying me?” After kicking her to the ground, Jian Ke slowly walked over.

She looked around and saw only the mop. Without hesitation, she grabbed it and shoved it toward Sister Zhang’s face.

“No matter what, I am the dignified eldest young lady of the Jian family. You’re nothing but a dog who was bought into this household. Did you really think that just because you were given a little authority, you could take the master’s place and give orders?”

“Since you don’t understand the rules and don’t know how to speak properly, you might as well never speak again.”

As she spoke, Jian Ke viciously jabbed Sister Zhang with the mop several times. Only after Sister Zhang was barely conscious and begging for mercy did Jian Ke enter Jian Cha’s room.

She needed to take advantage of the time before Jian Jianyi returned to get something she could use as leverage in tonight’s negotiations. After all, she had no money to buy supplies, and her original mother’s contribution to the company was something she might as well claim.

With that thought, Jian Ke’s fingers moved even faster across the computer.

Only after finding what she wanted did Jian Ke shut down Jian Cha’s computer and look around her room.

Unlike Jian Ke’s room, Jian Cha’s room had excellent lighting and was luxuriously decorated in every respect.

Jian Ke had always had a bit of a destructive streak. Since Jian Cha had always falsely accused the original host of deliberately cutting up her clothes, Jian Ke might as well make the accusation come true!

While Jian Ke was busy making a mess, the gardener finally discovered Jian Cha and pulled her out of the water.

Compared with what Jian Ke had done to her, Jian Cha was even more worried about the jade gourd.

Recalling the terrifying scenes from her dreams, Jian Cha shuddered and thought that she absolutely had to get the jade gourd back!

As for Jian Ke’s unusual behavior, she simply assumed that Jian Ke had been affected by the shock of falling into the water and did not think much of it.

Jian Cha’s clothes were completely soaked and covered in mud. Seeing this, the gardener took the initiative to drape his work jacket over Jian Cha.

Jian Cha felt disgusted by it inside, but outwardly she put on a weak and grateful expression, making the gardener think that the young lady was truly polite.

After reaching the villa, Jian Cha softly said thank you before walking inside with renewed confidence.

“Jian Ke, come out!”

Her voice arrived before she did, but she was destined to be disappointed.

Inside the villa, only Sister Zhang was still lying miserably on the floor.

“Sister Zhang?” Looking at the miserable lump of a “thing” on the floor, Jian Cha carefully identified her before calling out uncertainly.

Sister Zhang was genuinely on the verge of tears. Originally, after Jian Ke left, she had planned to get herself cleaned up and then go complain. But for some reason, Jian Ke’s kick had left her unable to stand for quite some time.

That was until she heard Jian Cha’s voice.

“Waaah, Miss.” Sister Zhang was truly frightened. She was merely a country woman. Before this, she had only been carrying out orders from others. Who could have known that Jian Ke would suddenly become so ruthless today?

Thinking of this, she could not help looking toward Jian Cha. She had originally intended to complain, but upon seeing Jian Cha’s appearance, she cried out in shock, “Good heavens, Miss, what happened to you?”

“It’s nothing. I accidentally fell into the water.”

Jian Cha was not trying to make excuses for Jian Ke. She simply cared about her reputation and did not want anyone to know that she had actually been bullied by someone she considered a pitiful nobody.

“Sister Zhang, get up first. Then we’ll talk.” Jian Cha approached and, seeing how miserable Sister Zhang looked on the floor, still helped her up. After all, she was an older woman and could still be useful.

“It was the eldest young lady. She kicked me without saying a word after coming in. She even said that since I worked for you, I deserved this treatment. She was clearly humiliating you!” As soon as Sister Zhang stood up, she rattled off a long string of complaints.

Jian Cha clenched her fists when she heard this.

It was Jian Ke again!

“And after the eldest young lady knocked me down, she went straight upstairs. I’m afraid she might cause some trouble.”

Hearing this, Jian Cha no longer had any time to worry about Sister Zhang. She told her to go wash up and hurried toward her own room. She moved so quickly that she did not look like someone who had just fallen into the water at all.

If Jian Ke had seen this, she might have sighed and said that this was probably the female protagonist’s halo.
