Chapter 11: The Fall of the Ye Family Silence filled the ruined Ye Mansion.
The Five Elders surrounded the twins from every direction.
Broken buildings burned behind them while shattered stone covered the once magnificent courtyard.
The eldest elder slowly raised his sword.
“You’ve exceeded our expectations.” “But this…” “…ends now.” Without another word— The five elders attacked together.
Five swords cut through the air simultaneously.
Their coordination was flawless.
Yet…
KING and Shadow remained calm.
The moment the blades reached them— They vanished.
BOOM!
The attacks struck only empty ground, blasting apart what remained of the courtyard.
“They’re behind us!” The fourth elder shouted too late.
KING’s fist smashed into his back.
CRACK!!
Several bones shattered instantly.
The elder crashed face-first into the broken ancestral hall and did not rise again.
At the same time— Shadow’s sword flashed.
A streak of icy light crossed the battlefield.
The fifth elder hurriedly blocked.
CLANG!
The impact forced him several dozen meters backward.
Before he could regain his footing— Shadow appeared beside him.
One clean strike.
The elder’s sword broke in half.
A second strike followed immediately.
The fifth elder collapsed silently.
Only three elders remained.
Fear slowly replaced the anger in their eyes.
The second elder whispered, “We…” “We can’t defeat them.” The eldest elder gritted his teeth.
“We are the guardians of the Ye Family!” “Fight!” The three elders released every remaining ounce of magical power.
Earth, wind and lightning erupted across the battlefield.
The violent magic swallowed the twins completely.
Outside the mansion…
The citizens watched nervously.
“Did they win?” “I can’t even see inside…” The storm of magic continued for several moments.
Then— A calm voice echoed through the dust.
“Finished?” The smoke slowly dispersed.
KING and Shadow stood exactly where they had been.
Their robes carried a few tears.
Nothing more.
The three remaining elders stared in complete disbelief.
“Impossible…” “Our strongest magic…” “It didn’t even seriously injure them…” KING slowly stepped forward.
“This battle has lasted long enough.” Shadow nodded.
The twins disappeared once more.
Three muffled explosions echoed one after another.

When the dust settled…
The three elders lay unconscious upon the broken ground.
Their weapons had shattered.
Their magical power had completely dispersed.
The battle…
…was over.
Silence engulfed the Ye Mansion.
Not a single member of the Ye Family remained capable of fighting.
The surviving servants dropped to their knees.
Some began crying.
Others fled the mansion in terror.
The once-proud Ye Family had fallen in a single afternoon.
KING looked around the destroyed mansion.
“There are no more enemies.” Shadow nodded.
“Our objective is complete.” Without another glance…
The twins turned and walked toward the mansion’s main gate.
As they left— No one dared block their path.
The gathered crowd instinctively moved aside, forming a road before them.
Whispers spread through the city.
“The Ye Family…” “…has fallen.” “Two young men…” “Destroyed the strongest family of Azure Wind City.” “Who are they?” “No one knows…” KING and Shadow paid no attention.
They quietly returned toward Sai and Jiang Yi’s hotel.
Meanwhile…
Inside the ruined Ye Mansion…
Only silence remained.
The era of the Ye Family had come to an end.
Far away, in another district of Azure Wind City…
A hooded man stood atop a tall building, overlooking the smoke rising from the destroyed mansion.
He smiled faintly.
“So…” “They really did it.” “It seems…” “The two twins are even more extraordinary than the rumors.” With that, he turned around and disappeared into the shadows.
Completely unaware that someone had already begun taking an interest in them…
