Oscar grinned ear to ear as the tenth Feral monster fell dead onto the stone pavement, fulfilling the requirement for his class unlock.

He could not wait to see the functions of his upcoming class. It had to be powerful.

[Unique Class quest requirement completed!]

[Congratulations! You have chosen the class ’One Shot King’.]

[About: Once upon a time, there lived a ghost whose shots never missed. Every target he struck with a single shot carried the horror of that attack into his next shot.]

[Class Skill: Quantity and Quality]

[Quantity: Every target you one-shot increases your ammunition stack without limit. You may consume the accumulated stack whenever you wish. Once the stack is consumed, it will reset to zero. If you successfully one-shot every target using the accumulated ammunition, you may continue building a new stack based on the previous one.]

[Quality: Every target you one-shot increases the damage of your ammunition without limit. You may consume the accumulated damage bonus whenever you wish. Once the bonus is consumed, it will reset to zero. If the ammunition successfully one-shots the target, you may continue building a new damage stack based on the previous one.]

[Notice: The effects of Quantity and Quality will reset to zero every time you fail to one-shot kill a target. Both are passive skills and active at the same time.]

[Class Bonus: +4 INT & +4 AGI added per level up. 4 free points granted per level up.]

Oscar stared at the system interface with his mouth wide open. Calling this class powerful was an absolute understatement. This was simply overpowered.

Quantity stored every arrow he shot into a stack, allowing him to summon all of the stacked arrows whenever he needed them.

Quality accumulated the exact damage value of his successful kills, compounding his overall offensive output without any upper limit.

The only condition was that every single shot had to be a one-shot kill. With his Aimbot trait active, that requirement was basically guaranteed.

’Sure enough, a Unique Class is a rare beast on its own,’ Oscar thought, a light chuckle escaping his lips.

Quality and Quantity completely solved the major problem he had faced up until now. Earlier, his ordinary arrows were too weak to pierce the hardened gray hide of the Feral Minotaurs unless he used Ban on them.

Using Ban was like breathing to him, as it did not consume mana or cause negative side effects no matter how many times he used it.

However, if a monster’s stats were higher than his, he would not be able to use Ban.

In such cases, Quality and Quantity would be a massive help. He could either use Quantity to overwhelm a high-stat enemy with a massive hail of arrows or use Quality to blast its defenses into pieces with stacked damage.

[Level Up! You have reached Level 12.]

Oscar opened his updated character panel to inspect his new parameters.

Name: Oscar System: Divine Hack System Function (s): Ban Traits: Aimbot | Invisibility (Locked - 10,000 EP to unlock) | Locked | Locked... Class: One Shot King (1*) Class Skill: Qua(Ntity((Lity) Level: 12 (100/1200) STR: 2 CONST: 1 AGI: 23 INT: 20 Mana: 200 HP: 10 Unallocated Points: 8 Evolution Points: 2500 EP

With his Intelligence jumping to 23, his Aimbot auto-lock detection range expanded significantly, stretching out to 53 meters.

This gave him far more flexibility and safety on the battlefield, allowing him to stay well clear of incoming attacks while maintaining absolute lethality.

Oscar did not pause his hunting for a second as more Ferals continued pouring out of the orange light.

By now, Hosts from nearby guilds and student squads wearing the official emblems of Greymoor Academy had arrived at the scene.

They quickly organized defensive perimeters, forming heavy shield lines and casting defensive magic, which greatly reduced the pressure on his shoulders.

The reinforcements finally managed to take complete control over the chaotic situation. The organized teams successfully enclosed the perimeter around the dungeon portal, giving no chance for any remaining monsters to slip past into adjacent streets.

Glancing around the central plaza, Oscar could see just how devastating the initial outbreak had been.

As his initial adrenaline began to cool down, the grim reality of what had happened crept into his mind.

The city, which was supposed to be completely safe, was now bathed in blood. Dead bodies littered the stone pavement, mixed together with the dark, heavy corpses of monsters.

Despite Oscar helping out from the moment the portal opened, the sheer volume of monsters in the initial wave was simply too large.

The initial surge had managed to kill hundreds of fleeing civilians in the first few minutes. The total casualties in the central district would easily exceed five hundred.

Furthermore, several fast-moving monsters had managed to slip into other parts of the city before the local Hosts could establish a containment line.

Those stray beasts would cause further casualties unless they were hunted down quickly.

His only relief was that no Ferals had escaped into the surrounding residential neighborhoods.

That would have been a complete catastrophe, as ordinary civilians and unclassed Hosts could not stand against a Feral for even a single second.

Oscar reached behind his back to pull another arrow from his quiver, only to realize his ammunition was running dangerously low.

He had barely a dozen iron bolts left in his pouch.

That sudden scarcity made him consider his long-term fighting style. Ammunition availability would always be his main bottleneck if he relied solely on physical arrows.

He checked his stacked values on the system panel.

[Quantity Stack: 16]

[Quality Stack: 3,200 Damage]

He had killed sixteen Feral Minotaurs after unlocking his Unique Class.

The Quantity stack matched his exact kill count following the class awakening. Meanwhile, the Quality stack accumulated the total damage of his lethal strikes.

As his level increased, the damage output of his crossbow naturally scaled up, expanding the stored Quality stack even faster.

He realized he could easily abuse these two class skills by using better equipment or hunting weaker targets first.

By stacking thousands of damage points on weak creatures, he could build a massive Quality charge to one-shot high-tier boss monsters without needing to use attribute overrides at all.

Resetting to zero upon a single missed shot was a steep penalty, but with Aimbot guiding his arrows, missing was a non-issue.

With his current 3,200 Quality stack, he could easily obliterate a Feral Minotaur without touching its system attributes, as those beasts only possessed around 200 total HP.

Despite their massive physical size, the Feral Minotaurs’ health pools were surprisingly low. This realization struck Oscar as strange.

According to the monster manuals he had studied earlier, Feral creatures usually possessed HP values in the thousands.

Thinking back, this entire dungeon outbreak was bizarre. The actual quantity of monsters emerging in the first and second waves was far smaller than what a standard Bronze-Ranked dungeon was supposed to spawn.

Furthermore, the portal had clearly started as an Iron-Ranked dungeon before mutating into a Bronze-Ranked one.

While wild dungeon evolution was not entirely impossible, it was an exceptionally rare phenomenon that usually took hours or days of spatial distortion, not a few minutes in the middle of a paved city street.

Deep in thought, Oscar pulled his crossbow trigger again.

SHOOO!

The iron bolt flew through the dusty air, piercing the eye of the final Feral Minotaur stepping out of the orange light.

The giant beast collapsed with a heavy thud onto the stone tiles.

For several minutes, no further monsters emerged from the portal. The surrounding Hosts holding the containment line let out long sighs of relief, lowering their weapons and shields.

The swirling dark orange light pillar began to shrink, its spatial energy stabilizing as the wild portal slowly started to close up.

’Ah, finally,’ Oscar thought, taking a deep breath and wiping dust from his forehead.

Suddenly, he froze in place.

A sharp, prickling sensation washed over his skin as he felt an intense gaze land directly on him. The gaze was filled with heavy scrutiny, cold malice, and deep annoyance.

With his increased Intelligence stat enhancing his spatial awareness, Oscar immediately traced the exact direction of the gaze.

What he found made his blood freeze instantly.

The hostile stare was not coming from the crowd.

It was coming directly from inside the shrinking portal, right from the dark, swirling void where the dungeon was closing down.
