Oscar did not leave the Host Association building immediately after binding the Skill Card. Instead, he took a seat on the leather sofa inside the private room and pulled up his system interface.

A dark blue translucent screen floated directly in front of his eyes.

Currently, his combat style was completely built around being a glass cannon.

His Agility and Intelligence were extremely high for a Level 20 Host, giving him absurd movement speed and a massive mana pool.

But his physical durability was virtually non-existent.

With only 1 point in Constitution, his total Health Points sat at a pathetic 10.

An ordinary goblin could end his life with a single scratch if it managed to close the distance.

Even worse, the threat of long-range attacks was very real.

Oscar remembered the battle in the Central Plaza. The Feral Minotaur had thrown a simple stone chunk at him infused with ’Expansion Shot’.

That single projectile had almost killed him on the spot. If the monster had possessed slightly better aiming capabilities, Oscar would have died right there.

He could not afford to walk around with such a glaring weakness anymore.

Without a second thought, Oscar tapped his system interface and allocated 20 of his free attribute points directly into Constitution.

The remaining 8 unallocated points were dumped straight into Intelligence.

A sudden, powerful wave of warmth surged from his core and spread rapidly to every corner of his body.

Oscar gasped softly as a feeling of deep physical rejuvenation washed over his whole body. His skin, muscles, and internal organs felt as if they were being density-packed and reinforced by invisible vitality.

Constitution directly affected the raw physical build of a Host. Every single point invested in it could be felt inch by inch.

As the physical transformation settled, the constant, subtle tension in Oscar’s muscles vanished.

For the first time since awakening his system, the feeling of walking on pins and needles completely disappeared.

Only now did he realize how much invisible energy his body had been draining just to stay on guard due to his fragile Health Points.

His instincts had been constantly stressing his mind behind the scenes because his body knew a single light hit meant instant death.

Now, his Health Points had jumped from 10 to 210.

His Intelligence had risen from 52 to 60, expanding his base Mana pool to 600 and extending the absolute lock-on range of his Aimbot trait to a full one hundred and fifty meters.

Oscar clenched his fist, feeling the firm strength beneath his skin.

"I definitely need to invest more points into Constitution in the future," Oscar muttered to himself in satisfaction.

Once his attributes were locked in, Oscar closed his system panel, stood up, and opened the door.

He bade a polite farewell to the association director, who personally escorted him to the front lobby with a respectful smile.

After stepping out of the Host Association building into the bright sunlight, Oscar set off toward his next destination.

He took a fast transit vehicle across the district, heading directly for the commercial street where the famous workshop known as the Black Dragon was located.

The Black Dragon was one of the most prominent weapon shops in Baidu City. Oscar had heard many rumors about its master craftsman, whom everyone simply called the Black Dragon.

In his mind, he had always pictured an imposing, muscular veteran blacksmith with a heavily scarred face and a soot-stained apron.

When he stepped inside the air-conditioned workshop and was led to the back office by an assistant, his expectations were completely shattered.

Sitting behind a broad oak desk was a young woman.

She looked remarkably thin and delicate.

Her pale skin was entirely spotless, showing no signs of smoke, soot, or physical labor. She had sharp, clear eyes, and her long dark hair was tied back in a loose ponytail.

She wore a simple dark tunic over leather trousers.

"You must be Oscar," she said, offering a warm and friendly smile as she stood up. "I am Black Dragon. Though my real name is Iris. Welcome to my shop."

Oscar paused for a brief moment before recovering his composure. "You are the Epic Blacksmith?"

"I am," Iris chuckled softly, gesturing for him to sit. "People usually expect a giant man with a beard. Don’t worry, you are not the first person to look surprised."

Oscar sat down across from her. "No offense, though."

"None taken," she smiled.

Iris leaned back against her seat, crossing her arms as she looked at him with keen interest. "I heard about what happened at the Central Plaza. A Level 20 marksman who killed a wave of Ferals and took down the mutated Minotaur Leader completely solo. News travels fast among workshop owners."

She paused, resting her chin on her hand.

"I will be direct with you, Oscar. I want to offer you a full sponsorship deal. My workshop will provide you with top-tier equipment, custom maintenance, and tailored gear upgrades free of charge. In return, you only need to use my equipment in official dungeon raids and public events."

Oscar frowned slightly upon hearing the offer.

A full sponsorship from an Epic blacksmith sounded incredible on the surface, but it usually came with strict contractual chains.

Major guilds and independent blacksmiths often used gear sponsorships to bind young talents to exclusive service.

"I appreciate the offer," Oscar said calmly, his tone guarded. "But I do not wish to bind myself to an exclusive gear contract. I intend to use Natural drops whenever I manage to obtain superior ones."

Iris burst out laughing, waving her hand dismissively.

"You misunderstood me," Iris said smoothly. "I am not asking you to wear my gear exclusively for the rest of your life. I know very well that high-grade Natural drops from monsters carry far higher functions than standard human-forged items. A Rare Natural drop can easily match an Epic Crafted item in raw combat performance."

She leaned forward, her expression growing confident.

"But... what if I told you I have the capability to craft equipment that can match—no, rival—natural gear?"

"Huh?" Oscar looked at her in disbelief. Was this woman joking with him?

But looking at her serious expression, it didn’t seem so.
