Ryan looked at the endless stream of rewards with a satisfied smile.
"As expected."
"A boss really is worth hunting."
His attributes had increased dramatically.
Ryan had obtained several powerful combat skills, a new passive ability, valuable materials, and, most importantly, the Soul of the Black Water Wyvern.
Ryan’s eyes immediately stopped on that reward.
"I want to see what I got," he thought.
However, he controlled himself.
His Spirit Sense detected many people hiding around the battlefield.
"This isn’t the right place."
Without checking the rewards, Ryan turned around and began leaving the boss chamber.
Just as he reached the exit, two people walked toward him.
"Wait a minute!"
One of them stopped Ryan.
Ryan looked at him calmly.
"What is it?"
The man smiled politely.
"Would you be willing to sell us the Black Water Wyvern’s corpse?"
At the end of the battle, everyone had only seen the boss disappear inside the golden light released by Ryan’s talent.
Naturally, they assumed he had simply stored the corpse inside his inventory.
None of them knew that Perfect Loot had completely dismantled the wyvern and extracted everything from it.
Ryan shook his head.
"Not interested."
The man sighed but wasn’t surprised.
"I understand."
"If you ever change your mind, please give me a call."
He handed Ryan a business card.
"I’m Maxim."
"I’m a Necromancer."
"I have a use for wyvern bones."
Ryan accepted the card, gave a small nod, and continued walking away.
After Ryan disappeared into the distance, the person standing beside Maxim looked at him.
"Do you think he’ll sell it to us?"
Maxim shook his head.
"I don’t think so."
"At least not after what we just witnessed."
Joy looked confused.
"What do you mean?"
"The Black Water Wyvern is worth a fortune."
Maxim simply smiled.
"Exactly."
"Someone capable of soloing a boss like that isn’t likely to care about money."
Joy sighed.
"I guess you’re right."
He then looked toward the battlefield.
"The boss room usually stays poisoned for almost a full day after the Black Water Wyvern dies."
"But..."
He suddenly froze.
"The poison..."
"Where did it go?"
The entire battlefield had changed.
The poisonous swamp had completely disappeared.
Clear water flowed peacefully through the cave.
Fresh green grass covered the ground.
Small white flowers bloomed everywhere.
There wasn’t a single trace of poison left.
Maxim glanced at the scene.
"That’s what happens when someone uses a high-tier purification skill in a low-tier dungeon."
"It’ll probably stay like this for a while before the dungeon’s mana restores the original environment."
He then took out a small device and threw it onto the ground.
The device expanded into a large camping tent.
"We will be camping here until the boss respawns."
"We have already miss the boss thanks to you, Now I don’t want to take any more risks. We’ll just wait here until the boss respawns," he said before going inside his tent.
Joy sighed but nodded.
Meanwhile, Ryan had already traveled several kilometers away from the boss chamber.
After finding a quiet cave with no monsters nearby, he finally stopped.
"This should be far enough."
Only then did he take out the Soul Card of the Black Water Wyvern.
Without hesitation, he crushed it.
The card dissolved into countless blue particles.
A huge summoning circle appeared beneath Ryan’s feet.
Mist gathered above it.
Slowly, the massive spirit of the Black Water Wyvern emerged.
Its translucent body was covered in deep blue scales.
Blue soul flames burned within its eyes.
The enormous spirit lowered its head toward Ryan.
"Master."
Ryan nodded.
"So you also start at Level 1."
He opened the wyvern’s status screen.
Just as he expected, all of its original levels had been reset.
"I wonder if there’s a way to keep your growths."
Ryan shook his head.
"I’ll figure that out later."
For now, he had something much more important to do.
He opened his own status screen.

However, among all the rewards, one item caught his attention the most.
