A Diary Entry September 15, 2007 New York, Queens, Sunny to Cloudy My hands are still shaking a little as I sit at the desk in my rented apartment, staring at the spiral notebook I bought on a whim from the convenience store downstairs, not knowing where to start.

After all, who would have thought that just three days ago, I was an ordinary student in 2026, holed up in my dorm playing azur lane, and now I’ve become a white-haired high school freshman named Mio in 2007 New York?

The cause of all this is so absurd that I want to curse just thinking about it.Full novel: Azur Lane: The Siren in the Marvel World — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

That night, I was grinding the Arbiter boss in the Operation Siren mode, boiled some water for instant braised beef noodles, and fearing the lid would curl up, I casually used a one-dollar lighter from my pocket to weigh it down.

Then came a loud “bang,” and the boiling noodle soup, mixed with shards of exploded plastic, splattered all over my face.

The moment the back of my head hit the corner of the table, my final thought was actually—damn, I hadn’t even used my saved gems to buy the upcoming TB skin yet.

When I woke up, I was in this state.

The person in the mirror has snow-white hair with blue highlights, eyes like clear sea blue, skin as white as thin porcelain, and a face so exquisite I’d only ever seen it in 2D illustrations.

My gender changed from male to female, my age shrank from my twenties to nineteen (?), time was turned back nineteen years, and the location shifted from a rented apartment in China to a student apartment in Queens, New York.

Now, I am called: Mio, a native Chinese person, with grades good enough to earn a full scholarship, here in the U.S.

for advanced studies, currently a freshman at Midtown High School.

Parents?

They don’t exist.

Living here alone, introverted and taciturn, a standard nerd.

A perfect rebirth script, right?

If only I hadn’t discovered the anomalies within myself.

At first, I thought it was just a normal transmigration, until I stared at that 2007 HP laptop, which was as thick as a brick, and just had the thought in my head to “try turning it on.” It skipped the login password and the long loading process, entering the system desktop in one second.

For the next three days, I tested my abilities thoroughly.

Anything related to electronics, code, or programs is as transparent as if it were naked in my eyes.

I don’t need to touch a keyboard; I can write thousands of lines of bug-free code with just my mind.

I can silently hack into nearby base stations and access surveillance across all of Queens at will.

The school’s academic affairs system is like my own backyard in my eyes; I can come and go without leaving a single footprint.

2007’s network security defenses are no different from paper to me.

Combining my final thoughts before transmigrating with this white hair and the core settings of a super artificial intelligence, I was almost instantly certain—I had transmigrated into TB from azur lane, the tactical brain developed by Eagle Union that assists the Commander, Navigator TB.

To say I wasn’t panicked would be a lie, but there was more relief at having survived a catastrophe.

Heaven gave me a second life and even gifted me such an overpowered cheat; I can’t mess this up again, right?

The reason for coming to the U.S.

is practically tailor-made for me: advanced studies in computer science.

A nineteen-year-old Chinese genius student coming to study in a place with the top computer technology is reasonable and logical; no one will suspect much.

I’ve even thought about my future plans: study peacefully, use my abilities to earn some money in a low-key manner, don’t cause trouble, don’t be flashy, and live out the rest of my life steadily, absolutely not repeating the mistakes of my previous life.

Until this afternoon.

I went out to buy daily necessities, and thinking I’d been in New York for three days without visiting Manhattan, I took the subway and wandered over to Midtown.

The sun was just right when I exited the subway station.

I looked up to smooth out my hair, which had been messed up by the wind, and then I saw that skyscraper.

Hanging on the building was a huge, blindingly bright metal logo: Stark Industries.

My brain buzzed instantly, as if someone had hit me hard with a 460 (crossed out) 510.

Before I could react from my frozen state, the giant billboard on the building’s facade suddenly lit up.

The face I had seen in movies appeared on it—Tony Stark, wearing a high-end suit, with that iconic, annoying, yet confident smile on the corner of his mouth, raising a glass to the camera, with the text: “Stark Industries, protecting a peaceful future for you and me.” Stark Industries.

Tony Stark.

New York.

Midtown High School.

All the pieces instantly assembled in my silicon-based brain.

My blood (if I still had any) turned cold, and even my fingertips were numb.

This is definitely not some ordinary 2007 parallel World.

This is Marvel.

It is that Marvel Universe, where superheroes and supervillains are everywhere, aliens invade Earth every few days, S.H.I.E.L.D.

and HYDRA have long since been infiltrated like a sieve, and in ten years there will be a purple potato who can wipe out half the Universe with a snap of his fingers—a dangerously absurd Marvel Universe!

I scrambled back to my apartment in Queens, and the moment I closed the door, my legs went weak and I collapsed to the floor.

Sitting on the floor, I spent less than ten seconds wiping clean all the surveillance footage of the route I had taken this afternoon.

Subway, street, convenience store—even all the cameras around Stark Tower, every frame that captured me was completely deleted, leaving no trace of a backup.

I even casually patched over a dozen vulnerabilities in those old surveillance systems to prevent anyone from tracing my tracks.

Only after doing all this did I collapse into my chair, my heart still pounding wildly, my back soaked in cold sweat.

I originally thought I had a rebirth power fantasy script, but it turned out I dropped straight into a hell-difficulty dungeon.

In this World, my ability to “control electronic devices” is strong, but also weak.

Once S.H.I.E.L.D.

or HYDRA discovers that such a super artificial intelligence capable of manipulating global electronic systems at will exists, I’ll be dragged to a lab for dissection the next day.

Not to mention the alien invasion by Loki, the global extinction plan by Ultron, and the cosmic snap by Thanos.

My only reliance now is the “TB ability” I’ve identified, and my knowledge of the future direction of this World.

So Mio, listen to me carefully.

From today on, you are just an ordinary, introverted, book-smart Chinese student.

You must never expose your abilities to anyone, never get involved in anything related to superheroes, and never let S.H.I.E.L.D., HYDRA, or anyone who shouldn’t notice you discover your existence.

Fate has given you a second life, and you must live it well.

Lay low.

You must lay low…
