She knocked on the door, and the music inside stopped instantly.

The person who opened the door was a strong man nearly two meters tall, with a hideous skull tattoo on his arm, and his waist was bulging, looking like he had a gun tucked in.

He looked Mio up and down, his eyes full of suspicion: “Here to fix the server?” “Yes.” Mio’s voice was very flat, without any ups and downs, “It was agreed.” The strong man sneered, obviously not expecting that the employer would find a little girl who looked like she hadn’t reached adulthood, but he still stepped aside to make way: “Come in, don’t look around, don’t touch anything, take the money and leave after finishing, understand?” Mio didn’t answer, followed him into the bar.Full novel: Azur Lane: The Siren in the Marvel World — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

It was smoky inside, a dozen gang members in leather jackets with guns sat by the bar, their eyes falling on her in unison, with mockery and scrutiny.

She looked straight ahead, followed the strong man through the dance floor, went down the stairs behind the bar, and entered a damp Underground Room.

The Underground Room had several buzzing server cabinets, and a workstation with a blue screen lit up.

There were many beer cans and cigarette butts scattered on the ground.

A bald man with a scar on his face sat on a chair, saw her enter, and raised his eyebrows: “Is it you?

Can you fix this thing?” “Let me see the problem first.” Mio put down the portable computer and walked to the workstation, ignoring his scrutinizing gaze.

The problem was simpler than she thought.

The server was attacked by a competitor’s hacker, the core partition of the database was damaged, and the system crashed along with it.

For ordinary people, it might take several days of tossing, but for her, it was just a matter of convenience.

She didn’t use any overly exaggerated abilities, just plugged in the data cable, her fingers tapping rapidly on the keyboard, lines of code scrolling on the screen, and the originally blue-screened workstation soon restored the startup interface.

It took no more than forty minutes.

She turned around and raised her chin at the scarred man: “It’s fixed.

The database is fully restored.

By the way, I patched a few vulnerabilities in your firewall, so it won’t be so easy to be hacked in the future.” The scarred man leaned over to take a look, confirmed that the accounts and customer information in the server were intact, and finally showed a bit of surprise on his face, then raised his chin at the subordinate next to him.

The subordinate immediately took a thick envelope and handed it to Mio.

She took the envelope, squeezed it, the thickness matched, and opened it to find it full of non-sequential old bills.

The stone in her heart fell to the ground.

Just as she was about to turn and leave, a sudden change occurred.

“Bang—!!” A deafening gunshot came from the front door of the bar, followed by the crisp sound of shattering glass, women’s screams, and dense gunfire, which sounded like popcorn.

The rock music was instantly drowned out by the gunfire.

The faces of the people in the Underground Room changed instantly.

The scarred man grabbed the shotgun under the table and cursed a dirty word: “F#@k!

It’s those bastards from the Viper Gang!” Almost at the same time, the iron door of the Underground Room was kicked open, bullets whizzed in, hitting the server cabinet, splashing a string of sparks.

The strong man who opened the door for Mio groaned, a burst of blood exploded from his chest instantly, and he fell straight to the ground.

The warm blood splashed to the edge of Mio’s shoes.

Mio froze.

You have to be kidding me?!

She just came to repair a server, how did she run into a gang shootout?!

Free America, shooting every day, right?!

Bullets flew around in the small Underground Room, people on both sides were shooting crazily across the stairs, the gunfire made one’s eardrums ache, and wood chips and concrete fragments splashed everywhere.

Mio subconsciously shrank behind the server cabinet, her heart beating wildly, and only one thought in her mind: Run!

Run immediately!

Just then, another gang member was hit in the shoulder, screaming and falling not far in front of her.

A bullet flew past her ear, hitting the metal cabinet behind her, making a harsh screeching sound.

At the moment of life and death, Mio’s brain suddenly went “buzz”, as if some dusty program was instantly activated.

A light blue holographic interface unfolded before her eyes without warning, carrying the cold and hard texture unique to Tesseract technology that she felt somewhat unfamiliar with.

Countless data streams refreshed rapidly, and the originally chaotic gunfire and firelight were instantly disassembled into clear parameters: [Fire Control Radar activated — scanning range 500 meters] [Target identification: 17 firearms, including 9mm pistols, shotguns, AK series assault rifles] [Ballistic calculation completed — real-time update of impact points, rate of fire, damage range] [Danger level labeling completed]
