The male lead dotes on the female lead excessively, spoiling her beyond all limits. He constantly wants to hold her on his lap and pamper her—an overwhelmingly fatherly kind of affection.

The light fell upon the man and the young woman entangled on the bed.

Almost every inch of the young woman’s snow-white skin was marked with dense kisses, not even sparing the delicate skin around her ankles.Full novel: Baby, Don’t Cry: President Huo Coaxes You With Red Eyes — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

The man’s hand gripped her slender, soft waist as he kissed her, like a beast starved for too long, eager to devour her completely.

Only when she cried out in pain did his kisses on her lips soften slightly, but he still refused to let go.

She was nearly breathless, her fair, delicate hands pounding against his chest, before he finally allowed her a brief respite.

Yet, having already endured this countless times tonight, she knew that after a short while, his scorching lips would once again claim hers with domineering intensity.

The man’s low, husky voice sounded beside her ear, “Zhili, are you truly willing to marry me?”

Wen Zhili’s eyes were red at the corners, her mind already a muddled mess.

Her delicate brows furrowed slightly as she replied in a soft, tender voice, “I’ve answered so many times already.”

However, he bit her earlobe, which was as exquisite as a jade pearl.

Though it didn’t hurt, Wen Zhili sensed danger.

She could only answer again, “I’m willing.”

If she didn’t answer, this man would definitely not let her off.

But even after she answered, after allowing her a few minutes of rest, the man transformed back into a hungry wolf, fiercely and persistently kissing her lips once more.

The night was long.

…

In the morning, golden sunlight streamed onto the large bed, illuminating the woman’s beautiful and delicate face.

Her cheeks were flushed, and her sleeping expression was as lovely and serene as an angel’s.

But what drew even more attention were the dense kiss marks that extended from her neck down to her collarbone and beneath her pajamas, appearing both intimate and startling.

Huo Shengbai gazed at her with deep eyes, his palm gently stroking her head. “Zhili, be good. Breakfast is ready. Eat first, then you can go back to sleep.”

But the drowsy woman buried her head under the covers, mumbling, “Not eating. I want to sleep.”

A faint smile curved at the corner of Huo Shengbai’s lips. “Alright, sleep as you like. I’ll carry you to wash up.”

Wen Zhili let out a soft “Mm.”

He picked up a blanket, lifted her from under the covers, wrapped her tightly, and then carried her to the bathroom.

Wen Zhili was somewhat conscious, but she was simply too tired to even open her eyes.

She sat bonelessly on the leather chair, her waist held by Huo Shengbai, allowing him to wash her face, dress her, and even slip on a pair of cute rabbit slippers.

However, when Huo Shengbai picked up a comb to brush her hair, his movements were too stiff and unpracticed, causing her discomfort and rousing her slightly from her drowsiness.

She frowned pitifully and couldn’t help but whimper, “It hurts.”

Huo Shengbai’s voice was filled with concern and guilt. “I’m sorry. I’ll practice more in the future.”

Wen Zhili still didn’t want to open her eyes, nodding perfunctorily. “Mm.”

After combing her hair, Huo Shengbai carried her to the dining chair.

He held her as if she were a baby, seating her on his lap.

One of his strong arms encircled her slender, soft waist firmly, while his other hand picked up a white ceramic spoon to feed her sweet porridge.

He would blow on the hot porridge first, waiting until it cooled sufficiently before bringing it to her lips.

Huo Shengbai coaxed her gently, “Be good, have some porridge.”Wen Zhili obediently opened her mouth like a good little girl.

It was sweet, with the taste of osmanthus honey.

Delicious.

After drinking several sips of the hot porridge, Wen Zhili finally recovered.

Her drowsiness had completely vanished.

Opening her eyes, Wen Zhili realized she was sitting on Huo Shengbai’s lap.

A shy blush spread across her fair, delicate face.

Feeling embarrassed, she spoke softly, “Thank you, I… I can sit on the chair myself.”

Huo Shengbai was reluctant.

He wished Zhili could sit on his lap forever, feeding her meals himself.

But he forcibly suppressed the possessiveness in his heart, revealing a gentle smile on his face and obediently replied, “Alright.”

It was as if the man who had been as fierce as a hungry wolf last night had transformed into a well-behaved big dog after putting on his suit.

Huo Shengbai carried her to the seat beside him.

Worried that the chair might be too hard, he had long ago instructed someone to specially lay a soft, fluffy cushion on it.

After taking a few sips of the sweet porridge with her spoon, Wen Zhili couldn’t help but steal glances at the man sitting properly beside her.

She had to admit, Huo Shengbai was the most handsome man she had ever seen.

His features were deep and well-defined, with sharp eyebrows and bright eyes, a tall nose, and an air of nobility and elegance in his every gesture.

Even as he simply drank coffee, he looked so beautiful it was like a scenic view, pleasing to the eye.

Her gaze drifted downward, from his lips to his Adam’s apple, then to his white shirt.

Even the top button was fastened, leaving nothing to be seen inside.

However, after last night, she knew exactly how well-built the body beneath that white shirt was.

At the thought of last night, Wen Zhili’s cheeks flushed red.

Who would have thought that this man, with gentleness and elegance etched into his bones, could become so fierce when drunk?

Her first time almost…

Just then, her phone rang, interrupting her thoughts.

It was her best friend, Lu Jia’er, calling.

Lu Jia’er asked worriedly, “Zhili, are you okay? Huo Cheng, this time… sigh.”

Wen Zhili instinctively glanced at the mature, gentle man sitting beside her.

Huo Cheng was her fiancé.

Yet last night, she had climbed into the bed of Huo Cheng’s uncle, Huo Shengbai.
