Quang Binh.

On the desolate beach.

With Uncle Binh’s emergence, the already taut atmosphere was choked off entirely by his dense killing intent.Full novel: Back to the Future: The Primordial Reboot — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

The two Eternal Society cultists were also terrified, but there was no time left to process everything.

They exchanged quick glances and made a swift decision.

“Old man!

Since you’re here, go die!”

Immediately, one cultist broke away, brandishing a blood-stained, thorn-laden iron chain to block Uncle Binh’s path, drastically easing the pressure on Ly Phong.

Yet Uncle Binh was practically dying of anxiety.

Seeing the young master out on the beach tangled in trickery with the Sea Viper Somsak while he himself was blocked here, the old man instantly flew into a rage:

“Scram!”

The dagger in his hand seemed to spring to life, transforming into a ferocious flood dragon thrusting straight toward the cultist’s glabella.

Condensed killing intent surged forward, forcing the opponent to let out a painful groan.

Still, the guy was a genuine Late Stage Spirit Channeling Realm expert after all, and his reflexes remained lightning-fast.

With a deft twirl of the spiked chain, he managed to intercept the dagger less than a yard from his face.

CLANG!!!!

Though violently battered back several steps by the turbulent spiritual power and coughing up a mouthful of blood from his shaken viscera, the man didn’t suffer any catastrophic damage.

In contrast, while Uncle Binh looked completely unscathed on the outside, those with profound cultivation in the field possessed sharp sensitivities and quickly noticed that the old man’s vitality was rapidly sliding downward, no longer as formidable as it had been at the start.

The two Eternal Society members were overjoyed.

The one currently tangling with Ly Phong shouted excitedly:

“Hold the old man down for a moment!

Somsak, quickly capture that kid for me!”

Clearly, they weren’t stupid; they had recognized Young Master Vuong’s extraordinary identity and wanted to take a hostage.

One side eager to reinforce, the other desperately blocking—conflicting motives naturally resulted in a ferocious clash.

…..

Amidst the ruined debris of the warehouse, four figures fought for their lives.

Spiritual power burned without regard for cost, shattering the heavens and earth.

Ly Phong pushed his Thunder Shock Fist to the absolute limit.

Purplish-blue electric arcs enveloped his arms as he furiously hammered away at the enemy’s Nether Shadow Claw.

Every punch, accompanied by rumbling thunder, shattered patches of gloomy black mist, but Old Ly’s opponent was someone who didn’t fear death.

Disregarding the fact that his entire body was scorched and electrically shocked in multiple places, the Eternal Society cultist snarled and lunged forward.

With a pair of razor-sharp steel claws fastened to his hands, he launched continuous strikes, executing gloomy and ghastly claw techniques in an attempt to shred Ly Phong, entirely unbothered by trading injury for injury as he drove him into a perilous, hazard-strewn situation.

On Uncle Binh’s side, things were slightly better.

He wielded his dagger to weave sharp arcs of crimson light, steadily suppressing the cultist’s snake-like spiked chain.

Every collision produced terrifying destructive force, forcing his opponent backward.

The spiked chain weapon itself suffered numerous gashes, venting red-hot sparks and the stench of nether qi—clearly taking damage to its foundation.

Yet, though Uncle Binh possessed vast experience, old age and physical decline were his fatal weaknesses.

Facing an opponent who didn’t know fear, like the Eternal Society cultists, left him panting heavily and sweating profusely, unable to sustain the fight for much longer.

Looking out into the distance, the old man silently harbored deep regret.

…..

Fortunately, Young Master Vuong had never disappointed anyone.

As a dignified Mid Stage Spirit Channeling Realm martial arts genius from the Quang Binh First High School nursery, facing merely a crippled Thai Nation rat who was already injured—could Young Master Vuong possibly lose?

Virtually zero suspense.

Relying on his invincible defense—which even ordinary Late Stage experts struggled to easily breach—the Spirit Armor made Vuong Minh feel practically unstoppable.

He effortlessly beat the toothless Sea Viper until the guy was crying for his mommy.

But with Uncle Binh and Ly Phong in such critical peril out there, Vuong Minh didn’t dare to fool around.

Seeing Somsak charging toward him with unyielding terror in his eyes, wielding a high-frequency blade, Vuong Minh didn’t dodge or evade, driving the Spirit Armor to its absolute limit.

The spirit stone burned at high speed, transforming into a massive torrent of energy funneled directly into the armor’s array core.

A dazzling energy barrier materialized, knocking both the blade and Som himself stumbling backward several steps.

Vuong Minh’s internal blood qi was also jarred, but he gritted his teeth, instantly pulling out the energy gun at his waist and funneling all his remaining spirit energy into the muzzle.

Bang!

Bang!

Two close-range energy gun blasts struck Somsak square in the chest, blowing open two massive charred craters.

Somsak let out a despairing roar as he flipped backward, tumbling down into the churning sea and vanishing beneath the dark waters.

“Hoo!”

Vuong Minh let out a soft sigh of relief.

He had no time to search for the D-rank mission target.

Glancing toward Uncle Binh and Ly Phong, who were still trapped, he hurriedly whirled around, pointed the energy gun at the Eternal Society envoys, and pulled the trigger repeatedly.

Boom, boom, boom…

Beams of light from Vuong Minh’s energy gun flashed continuously, slamming into the protective qi barriers of the two cultists.

Both of their bodies shuddered, their outer qi shields dimming considerably.

Thanks to this timely reinforcement, Ly Phong and Uncle Binh instantly found an opening, launching a simultaneous counterattack that gradually wrested back the upper hand.

Realizing the situation was turning south, the two Eternal Society cultists exchanged glances, their eyes gradually filling with ruthlessness.

“SCRAM!”

One of them decisively retracted his spiked chain, stomped hard on the sand, and bolted toward the sea.

“Brat!

I’ll remember you!”

WHOOSH!!!

Passing right by Vuong Minh, he didn’t forget to lash out with his spiked chain.

Gloomy, pitch-black spiritual qi carrying soul-shattering shrieks pierced straight into Vuong Minh’s soul, causing his entire body to violently jolt as a dull ringing echoed in his head.

“Young Master, watch out!”

“BOOM!!!!”

Uncle Binh’s warning came too late to be of any use.

Everything happened too fast; before Vuong Minh could even recover his wits, he was blasted backward, his internal organs scrambled as he coughed up a mouthful of blood.

Fortunately, the Spirit Armor was extremely powerful.

Though covered in cracks and looking on the verge of collapse at any second, energy surging from the spirit stone managed to keep the outer protective barrier circulating smoothly, restoring it to its initial pristine condition and sealing him safely inside.

The cultist shot one last regretful glare before saying nothing more, leaping away at top speed.

Meanwhile, the remaining cultist abruptly halted all offensive actions, the aura around his body spiking abnormally.

Veins on his face and neck bulged and turned crimson like crawling earthworms, his skin swelling up like an inflating balloon.

“Not good!

He’s about to self-destruct!

Run!” — With his vast experience, Uncle Binh shrieked in horror.

Hearing this, Ly Phong was scared out of his wits, running as if his life depended on it.

Unfortunately, it was a little too late.

“People of Viet Nation!

You will pay the price; eternity is about to descend!

Come embrace eternity together!!!!”

Magnificently ignoring Great Emperor Vuong, the Eternal Society cultist shrieked his final words before transforming into a crimson blood-ball, rocketing straight toward the backs of Ly Phong and Uncle Binh.

“BOOM!!!!”

A heaven-shaking explosion rang out.

A shockwave carrying shredded flesh and chaotic spiritual power blasted everyone away.

Ly Phong could only let out a single scream before being tossed like a tattered sack far away, collapsing motionless.

As for Uncle Binh, thanks to his battlefield experience, he managed to defend in time, suffering only minor effects.

Yet the old man’s vitality was severely eroded, making him look even more withered and exhausted.

Out by the sea, the fleeing cultist was still monitoring the situation.

Seeing that Uncle Binh had only sustained minor injuries, he felt a twinge of regret but didn’t hesitate any longer, roaring with hatred:

“I’ll remember you!

You and your families—get ready for Eternity’s descent!!”

With that final declaration, his body flared with pitch-black spiritual qi as he sped away toward the deep ocean.

Watching him leave, Vuong Minh and Uncle Binh felt a chill grip their hearts.

They desperately wanted to silence him and pull out the roots to prevent future trouble, but they lacked the strength and were utterly powerless to stop him.

However, just as that damned cultist was about to vanish into flight, a streak of black light suddenly flashed from beneath the waves into mid-air.

Before the bastard could even let out a squeak, he collapsed, his breathing instantly extinguished.

A Late Stage Spirit Channeling Realm expert had thus simply perished on the spot.

This sudden twist turned the lingering worry in Vuong Minh and Uncle Binh’s hearts into petrification, leaving them dumbfounded and paralyzed with terror on the spot.

And what shocked the two even more was that from beneath the dark waters, a figure slowly emerged—none other than the Sea Viper Somsak.

Except Somsak had completely mutated.

Aside from retaining facial features largely resembling his original appearance, his body had bloated, stretching his clothes to the breaking point to reveal skin of a metallic, glossy blue-black hue.

His legs had split into multi-jointed insect-like limbs.

Along his spine, his tailbone had elongated into a segmented tail, and his hands had sprouted razor-sharp scythes, looking alien and bone-chillingly creepy.

“You…

the Zerg!”

“You’re actually a member of the Truth Church!”

No matter what storms Uncle Binh had weathered in his life, he couldn’t help shuddering now, screaming in a shaky,失态 voice.

On the other side, Somsak slowly curved his lips into an eerie, twisted smile.

Using his now pitch-black, glossy eyes, he stared directly at Vuong Minh and Uncle Binh, licking his lips:

“Hehe, old man, not bad knowledge!”

At the same time, paying little regard to the two of them, he slowly strolled over to the freshly killed cultist.

His tail coiled around the corpse, flipping it over a few times before he fished out a small, antiquated leather pouch resembling an ancient scent sachet from the dead man’s breast pocket.

Only then did he nod with satisfaction, tucking the item into the bursting seams of his chest before turning back to smile at Young Master Vuong and Uncle Binh:

“Now, it’s your turn, bedbugs!”

“Roar!”

Somsak let out a grotesque shriek.

Instantly, a tyrannical aura radiated from him—far, far surpassing Uncle Binh, Ly Phong, or the two Eternal Society cultists back then.

Moreover, from his back, a pair of hard wing-cases burst through his flesh, causing Somsak to writhe in agony, but driving his aura upward by leaps and bounds with matchless, overbearing might.

Probably reached the peak of the Spirit Channeling Realm.

— Great Emperor Vuong thought in internal terror.

As if sensing his psychological panic, Somsak grew even more exhilarated, holding off on attacking as he mocked them:

“You’re the one who shot me just now!

Well, how did you like it?”

A single sentence made Chairman Vuong want to cry without tears, forcing him to squeeze out a dry, withered smile:

“It was the gun that shot you, not me.

Besides, the gun wasn’t mine!”

“Who cares whose gun it was—go to hell!!!!”

Somsak flew into a savage frenzy.

Flapping the two wings on his back hard, his body transformed into an afterimage, vaulting across a hundred meters to appear abruptly right in front of Vuong Minh.
