The horde of corpses outside the door refused to leave until nightfall. Fortunately, there was food in the backpack, so the two of them weren’t in a hurry to leave. They decided to spend the night here and deal with it tomorrow.

After a simple dinner, due to what happened earlier, Cheng Min kept a distance from Shen Jianze, sitting alone in a corner, leaning against the wall with his eyes closed.

The night was chilly, and Cheng Min hugged himself tightly, but it was no use. He was so cold that he almost lost all feeling.Full novel: Bad Seed Wants to Be a Wife — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

In a daze, he felt something warm embrace him, like falling into a blazing furnace.

After a while, Cheng Min started to feel hot and struggled to escape the “furnace,” but the hands around his waist were strong, and no matter how he struggled, it was futile.

Cheng Min was trapped, unable to move.

“Shen Jianze?” Cheng Min opened his eyes.

Sure enough, it was Shen Jianze holding him, resting his chin on Cheng Min’s head, breathing steadily, sleeping soundly, a stark contrast to when he was awake.

Due to their height difference, Cheng Min was completely enveloped in Shen Jianze’s arms, like a human-shaped, beautiful doll.

Cheng Min pushed him, waking Shen Jianze, who slowly opened his eyes, initially filled with a fierce look, but upon seeing Cheng Min, his expression softened, “What’s wrong, brother?”

Startled, Cheng Min hesitated, “Can you let go of me? It’s a bit hot.”

Hearing this, Shen Jianze pretended to ponder, furrowing his brows as if making a difficult decision, “But I’m so cold, and I’m still sick. Can you really be so heartless to a patient, brother?” He put on a pitiful expression, trying to gain Cheng Min’s sympathy.

Cheng Min was at a loss, not wanting to make himself uncomfortable, he racked his brain and finally came up with a solution, “How about I hold you while we sleep?”

“Okay.” Shen Jianze moved closer to Cheng Min, kissing his neck, “Brother smells so nice, I love sleeping in your arms the most.”

Cheng Min nodded.

Then, Shen Jianze released his grip on Cheng Min, who immediately felt cooler. But with Shen Jianze’s eyes fixed on him, he didn’t dare keep him waiting too long. As agreed, he moved closer and embraced Shen Jianze.

Shen Jianze, like a dog, nuzzled Cheng Min’s neck, satisfied.

“Goodnight.” Cheng Min lay on Shen Jianze, adjusted to a comfortable position, yawned, and fell back into a dream.

“Goodnight.” The beautiful face in his arms seemed to have a fatal attraction, making it hard to look away. Shen Jianze swallowed hard, trying to control his inner desires, resisting the urge to do anything.

Just wait, wait until his wife accepts him.

He withdrew his gaze, staring at the wall ahead. After a while, he tentatively called out to Cheng Min, “Wife?”

But there was no response.

Relieved, Shen Jianze gently placed Cheng Min aside, got up, and with a long knife in hand, headed straight for the door.

The zombies outside, smelling human scent, lunged forward recklessly, but upon noticing Shen Jianze blocking the way, they slowly retreated.

“Disgusting.” Shen Jianze stepped forward slowly.

All night, Cheng Min felt it was noisy, with creepy howls constantly ringing. He wanted to open his eyes to see, but he was too exhausted, falling into a nightmare.

In his breakdown, the surrounding sounds disappeared, and he was embraced, gently patted on the back.

After that, he had no memory.

Cheng Min’s head throbbed, his whole body felt like it was falling apart, and any slight movement was excruciatingly painful. Slowly opening his eyes, he found himself once again in Shen Jianze’s arms.

At this moment, Shen Jianze was sleeping soundly with his eyes closed.

“Hmm?” Sensing Cheng Min’s movement, Shen Jianze opened his eyes, and their gazes met. His light blue eyes were still filled with the confusion and bewilderment of just waking up, “What’s wrong?”

“Nothing.” Cheng Min couldn’t help but reach out and ruffle Shen Jianze’s curly hair, which was sticking out in all directions. It felt surprisingly good, like wool, “I’m going to check outside.”

“Okay.”

Leaving Shen Jianze’s embrace, Cheng Min stretched, did some simple exercises, and walked to the door, sensing something was off.

Outside was silent, with no sound at all.

“What’s going on?” Cheng Min said, glancing at Shen Jianze, who was busy taking out a can from the backpack, not noticing him. He picked up his weapon, took a deep breath, and pushed the door open.

There was nothing, only a large patch of blood on the ground.

In an instant, countless thoughts flashed through Cheng Min’s mind, one of which seemed most likely. He turned to look at Shen Jianze.

“Did you do this?” Cheng Min blurted out, regretting it immediately, feeling he shouldn’t have been so direct.

“What?” Shen Jianze paused his eating, eyes full of confusion, not knowing if he was genuinely unaware or just playing dumb.

Cheng Min took a deep breath, organized his thoughts, and asked Shen Jianze again, “Where did the horde at the door go? Did you do it?”

“Oh, you’re asking about that.” Shen Jianze grabbed a piece of food with his hand, stuffed it into his mouth, and said while chewing, “Do you think that’s possible?”

Hearing his words, Cheng Min was stunned. Realizing it might have been his overthinking, considering Shen Jianze’s strength, if he were that powerful, they wouldn’t have been trapped here all night.

So, he dismissed the suspicion from Shen Jianze, thinking he had misunderstood him.

“True.” Cheng Min nodded.

“It was a group of people.” Shen Jianze handed an opened can to Cheng Min, continuing, “After dealing with the zombies outside, they took some supplies and left. You slept so soundly last night that even the gunshots didn’t wake you.”

“Mm.” With the answer, Cheng Min took the can from Shen Jianze, scooped a piece into his mouth, and put the matter behind him.

After all, they had more important things to do now, like reuniting with their teammates and moving to a base in another city.

After finishing the can, their energy was mostly replenished. Cheng Min got up, strapped his weapon on his back, and headed out first.

Suddenly, his arm was grabbed, and Cheng Min paused, turning around.

“Brother.” Shen Jianze moved closer to Cheng Min, bending down, their faces close, warm breath on his face, “You have something on your mouth.”

“What?” Cheng Min lowered his gaze, unconsciously swallowing.

“Here.” As soon as he spoke, his chin was lifted, and Shen Jianze kissed the corner of Cheng Min’s lips, then slowly moved away, licking his lips, “So sweet.”

After the little interlude, the two left the convenience store. Luckily, they encountered few zombies along the way. Because of what happened earlier, Cheng Min didn’t dare look at Shen Jianze, afraid he would fix his gaze on him again.

And then say something shocking.

“Brother.” But what you fear always comes. Shen Jianze, as usual, moved close to Cheng Min, wrapping his arm around his waist, sticking tightly together, “What’s wrong? I’ve noticed something’s off with you since earlier.”

Cheng Min’s body stiffened, pursed his lips, shook his head, and pushed Shen Jianze away, accidentally touching his wound, causing him to frown, “Brother, you touched my wound.”

Hearing this, Cheng Min quickly stepped forward, grabbed Shen Jianze’s arm, and checked carefully, finding no major issues.

But Shen Jianze, still thick-skinned, clung to Cheng Min, rubbing his head against his neck, “But it hurts, what should I do?”

What could he do? Cheng Min coaxed Shen Jianze like a child, “How about I blow on your wound like yesterday?”

“Okay.” Shen Jianze agreed quickly, shamelessly adding, “And you have to kiss me.”

Cheng Min coughed, lowered his head, blew on Shen Jianze’s wound, and he couldn’t wait, patting Cheng Min’s waist, urging, “And the kiss.”

“Got it.” Cheng Min wrapped his arms around Shen Jianze’s neck, who naturally bent down to make it easier for him.

As their lips met, things spiraled out of control…

“That’s enough.” Cheng Min panted, pushing Shen Jianze away, this time carefully avoiding the wound. He wiped his mouth and tidied his messy clothes.

“Not enough.” Shen Jianze seemed unsatisfied, hugging Cheng Min, continuing to plead, “I want more, I love your taste the most, brother.”

“Let go.” Cheng Min felt his temples throbbing, knowing he’d eventually die at the hands of this brat, “Wait until tonight.”

“Really?” Shen Jianze released Cheng Min, watching him, trying to discern the truth from his expression, “Are you sure? You’re not lying to me?”

“Mm.” Cheng Min nodded, choosing to sacrifice himself, “I’m not lying.”

“Then you better keep your word, brother.” Shen Jianze smiled, telling him, “Or I’ll be sad and ignore you.”

After that, Shen Jianze indeed didn’t cling to Cheng Min, following quietly behind him. Cheng Min knew he was waiting.

As night fell, under the starry sky, Cheng Min decisively stopped, using his abilities to survey the surroundings. After confirming there were no zombies nearby, they spent the night on a small slope in the woods.

Taking a tent from the backpack, Cheng Min set it up, glancing at the eager Shen Jianze beside him. He had no choice but to go over and let him hold him, fulfilling the promise from earlier.

Until he was out of breath, this time, Shen Jianze was satisfied.

Gathering some branches, Cheng Min started a fire, sitting by it, taking a can from the backpack and opening it to eat.

Shen Jianze had been gone for over half an hour. Just as Cheng Min thought something might have happened to him and was about to go look, he returned, smiling.

“Brother.” He came over, sat next to Cheng Min, and took out a light blue crystal stone from his pocket, showing it off, “This suits you, it’s a gift.”

“Do you know what this is?” Cheng Min looked at the blue crystal stone, unable to take his eyes off it, swallowing, “Mutants love eating these crystal stones.”

“You’re a mutant!” Shen Jianze’s voice rose, “No wonder you’re so amazing, brother.”

Cheng Min’s mind was all on the crystal stone. He looked up at Shen Jianze, seeking his opinion, “Can I eat this crystal stone?”

“Of course.”

With the affirmative answer, Cheng Min took the crystal stone, noticing blood on it. He quickly looked up, asking Shen Jianze, “Why is there blood?”

Shen Jianze extended his hand, “I accidentally cut myself.”

“Thank you.” Cheng Min felt warmth in his heart, and under Shen Jianze’s gaze, he bit into it, swallowing it.

A strange sense of joy surged in his heart. Cheng Min found it odd but didn’t think much of it.
