The middle-aged woman’s eyes darted around. When she saw the tall, burly young man beside her, who was glaring at her with a fierce expression, she immediately lost her nerve.
She glanced around in a panic and noticed that all the nearby vendors were staring sharply at her. She no longer had the nerve to keep pestering Su Nian’an and hurriedly left.
Seeing how frightened the woman was, Su Nian’an realized that she probably didn’t have many accomplices nearby.
Usually, human traffickers worked in groups. The reason Su Nian’an didn’t want to get into a physical confrontation with that woman was because she suspected that she wasn’t alone.

The vendor found her change while looking at Su Nian’an with a smile. “Little girl, you’re pretty clever.”
Su Nian’an immediately understood what he meant and smiled. “I don’t go anywhere with strangers.”
“That’s right! That middle-aged woman just now I often see her wandering around this area. Whenever she spots a young, pretty girl, she goes up and talks to her. I don’t know what she’s up to.”
What else could she be doing? If she specifically sought out young and pretty girls, she could only be a human trafficker.

Suddenly, another loud “bang” came from within.
In the end, Su Nian’an couldn’t resist.
She wanted to find someone to go into the alley with her.
But everyone was busy with their own business at that moment, and no one was paying attention to what was happening here.
Forget it! Better to live miserably than die.
People could call her reckless or say she didn’t know her own limits, but when it came to the trafficking of women and children, there was no way Su Nian’an could simply ignore it.

She quickly moved deeper into the alley. The people inside also sensed someone approaching, and their footsteps became faster.
“Stop!” Su Nian’an shouted at them.
When they heard that it was a girl’s voice, the group immediately stopped.
But when they saw Su Nian’an’s face, they became even more excited.
“Oh, look at that! No matter how much I tried to coax you into coming with me earlier, you wouldn’t go. And now you’ve delivered yourself right to our doorstep?”
The speaker was the same middle-aged woman who had tried to trick Su Nian’an into going with her at the market stall.
Sure enough, it was the same group.
Su Nian’an knew her instincts had been absolutely right.

The thin, dark-skinned man closest to Su Nian’an looked at her charging toward him and gave a lecherous grin.
Su Nian’an swung the carrying pole directly at him.
The men looked at her as though she were the biggest joke in the world. They probably found it ridiculous that a seemingly frail young woman would actually dare to come and rescue someone.
Because of this blind confidence, they assumed that someone as thin and weak-looking as Su Nian’an wouldn’t have much strength, and even if she hit someone, it probably wouldn’t hurt much.
So the thin, dark-skinned man didn’t even bother raising his hand to block her attack.
But the moment the carrying pole struck him, his expression changed drastically.
Su Nian’an didn’t give him any chance to react. She immediately swung the pole straight toward his crotch.
“AAAH!”
The thin, dark-skinned man let out a miserable scream and collapsed onto his knees.
Just hearing that scream made the others wince in sympathy.
Once the remaining two men recovered from their shock, they hurried toward Su Nian’an, intending to restrain her.
“Help! There are human traffickers here! Someone, please come save us!” Su Nian’an didn’t hesitate for even a moment. She turned and ran toward the direction behind her.
The other two men felt that they had suffered a huge loss and had no intention of giving up on the easy target who had practically delivered herself into their hands.
Or perhaps they were confident that they could catch Su Nian’an.
So they chased after her relentlessly.
Su Nian’an was simply too fast. As she ran, she shouted at the top of her lungs, “Help! There are human traffickers! Come and catch them! There’s even a reward for catching human traffickers! Someone, come quickly!”
The two men chasing Su Nian’an couldn’t catch up no matter how hard they tried, and they began to panic inwardly.
It seemed they had fallen into her trap.
This little girl was incredibly strong, both in terms of physical strength and running speed.
They should never have chased her out.
Fortunately, they were still some distance from the entrance of the alley, so they could still turn back.

“Damn it! Grab this little girl and sell her somewhere deep in the mountains!” one of the men snarled as he glared viciously at Su Nian’an before immediately rushing toward her.
Su Nian’an quickly got back to her feet and tried to continue running.
But in order to stall the two men, she grabbed the carrying pole and swung it at the man closest to her.
This time, the other man was smarter.
He reached out and caught the carrying pole directly.
But he hadn’t expected Su Nian’an to be that strong.
She suddenly yanked her hands back, ripping the pole out of his grip, then immediately swung it down at him again.
This time, the man failed to dodge.
“Damn it, you vicious bitch! Just you wait!”
After taking the blow, the man felt a searing pain throughout his body, as though his flesh were on fire.
The other human trafficker following behind him finally heard commotion coming from the other side of the alley entrance.
It sounded as though a large crowd was rushing over.
He hurriedly called out to the man closer to Su Nian’an, “A-Cai! We need to go! Stop chasing her!”
