But considering a level 1 had broken chains with bare hands, it was a small price to pay, so he couldn’t complain.

‘Now, let’s wait.’

After waiting for a moment, the sound of guards rushing about in confusion could be heard.

“Check the sacrifice in the cargo hold!”

“Go in and check the chains first!”

“If he puts up resistance, you can beat him up just enough so he doesn’t die!”

Ulric draped the broken chains back where they originally were, pretending they were still connected.

Clank!

The door to the cargo hold opened, and three guards entered.

The Jailer Captain in a civilian disguise, and two regular guards.

No matter what happened, they were supposed to stay and keep surveillance on Ulric from outside the iron bars.

But they were the ones who had been startled by the raid from the outside and made a disengagement from their posts.

Ulric rebuked their poor work attitude with his gaze.

The Jailer Captain felt a pang of guilt at the look Ulric was giving him.

He spoke to his subordinate.

“You, go in and check if the chains are normal!”

“M-me, sir?”

“You little bastard!”

Smack!

Even in the midst of this, the Jailer Captain struck the guard.

‘Jailer Captain Orastan.’

He was a guy who had tormented Ulric many times in the original work.

He had been like that since the Time Prison, even before the start of episode 1.

His role was to miserably fall to his death while trying to survive alone by using his subordinates as bait when the Sky Bandits infiltrated the airship.

“Come here yourself, Orastan.”

Ulric said.

At that, Orastan and his Subordinates flinched.

Perhaps they hadn’t expected Ulric to suddenly speak.

“You bastard, what did you just say?”

“Are you scared of me?”

“W-what did you say?”

“Isn’t it more efficient to check it yourself?

To come all the way right in front of it and then pass it off to your subordinates.

Aren’t you ashamed?”

As he sneered in a low tone, Orastan’s face turned bright red.

“You legless bastard!

I’ll tear your mouth open right now!”

That bastard Orastan came in alone.

The rest was easy.

“[Flash].”

Flash!

He unleashed the light he had secretly gathered in his grasp using [Luminosity Control].

“Agh!”

Orastan grabbed both his eyes and bent over.

Ulric gathered the chains he had merely draped over and swung them.

Hit in the head by the bundle of chains, Orastan stuck his tongue out and fainted.

“Uwaah!”

“Jailer Captain!”

The two guards panicked, and Ulric didn’t miss the opportunity.

Srrng!

He drew the sword from the Jailer Captain’s waist.

“If you make a fuss, I will kill the Jailer Captain.”

Ulric issued the threat and took the keys from the Jailer Captain’s pocket.
