<Chapter 4>
Waking up after taking a hit from Ulric, Diana started with a Situation Assessment.
“You pulled off a Prison Break.
Don’t tell me you were in cooperation with the Sky Bandits from the beginning…?”
Muttering, Diana soon shook her head.
“No, no matter how urgent it was, there is no way you would have been in cooperation with them.”
It was exactly as Diana said.
Ulric would rather die than leave his rescue to the Sky Bandits.
In the first place, since he had been locked in the Time Prison for 10 years, cooperation with the Sky Bandits was also impossible.
Rubbing her sore cheek, Diana asked Ulric.
“What about the others?”
“They are all dead.”
“Then I suppose it’s our turn… not.
If you were going to kill us, you would have done it right away without waking us up.”
She was quick-witted, as expected.
Ulric smiled faintly.
“Follow me.”
Ulric dragged the Clerics to the emergency exit and put parachutes on them.
Equipped with high-quality parachutes made of silk woven by the high Elves of the great forest, they hesitated.
“D-don’t tell me?”
“It is exactly that.”
Ulric threw open the emergency exit.
Wind rushed in like crazy.
Thud!
Thud!
Ulric sent all the Clerics flying with a kick.
“Aaaagh!”
“God of Light!”
The kicked Clerics fell out of the airship.
Because they were parachutes made by Elves, they would automatically deploy right before crashing even if they didn’t know how to use them.
However, since it was a drop from an airship in High-Speed Flight, they had to be prepared to break a limb or two.
Finally, it was Diana’s turn, and she cried out.
“I… I have a phobia of falling…!”
Thud!
“Kyaaak!”
He even kicked away the hesitating Diana.
Left alone, Hyun-jun first equipped a parachute, then ran back to the cockpit.
And he steered the control stick toward the target.
“The destination is already set.”
Ulric smirked.
He planned to cause a collision with the Tower of Sacrifice just like this.
‘The original work’s description comes to mind.’
The description stated that the weight of this airship, including cargo, reached about 100 tons.
‘Let’s see, can the Tower of Sacrifice withstand a 100-ton collision?’
In front of the Tower of Sacrifice, the Sacrificial Guides wearing black robes were lined up.
Those who made it their profession to receive sacrifices and hand them over to the tower.
They had been doing this for a whopping 300 years, generation after generation.
No matter how young the Living Sacrifice was, or how much they screamed, they did not care and silently offered the sacrifices to the entity Inside the Tower.
In return, they received a transmission of the knowledge possessed by the entity Inside the Tower little by little.
