At Head mistress Elisih office.
She was currently going through the list of sophomores who made a distinguished performance, in the just concluded exam.
Though it had been a couple of minutes now, which she had held the result in her hands quietly observing it before handing it back to Head Dorian.
* Alright release the results then, let them know their performance in the just concluded semester.!
* She said before standing up along with Head Dorian who stood up with her from his seat.
Head mistress Elisih walked towards the glass window behind her desk.
Head Dorian walked towards the door, halfway closer to the door, he halted in his tracks.* All arrangements are ready for the meeting tonight.
* He said holding the door knob.
He pulled at it gently backwards; opening the door.
* Splendid!
* Head mistress Elisih said, still having her back from him.
Head Dorian left her office walking out of the hallway.
One thing that spoke very loudly about the Head mistress of the academy was her strict policy of no magic around her office!
Which had been respected by all other heads of the academy; even the most jovial Head Dorian.
At this hour, it was already mid-day.
The academy was still calm under a lecturing atmosphere.
The order of carrying out teachings in the academy, was always set; using a measure of two classes per day.
Where each of the classes held a long duration of time.
Since it was only going to be two entire classes each day.
At the freshmen class, professor Otis stood at the center of the hall, both hands in his pocket lecturing.
* Inner channels, are all about finding your inner drive.
Feeling connected with your inner self!
* He turned around, heading for the green board at the front of the hall.
He walked gracefully towards the front desk.
The students were quietly paying attention to his words, with few drafting down the contents of each spoken words.
Written in the green board, were few words and diagrams of two shaped figures, used for the purpose of illustration.
Professor Otis also tried marking out various parts of the body which these channels had been felt; very noticeable to various witches.
The diagram on the board, had the front view and back view of a person, marking the upper part of the back as well as the back of the neck.
Other spots involve the heart, ribcage and toward the abdomen, though he explained that someplace exist which only the carriers know of.
* The essence of inner channels, involves helping you use spells much effectively.
Doing summons and helping you grow in your personal adventure.
The path of every witch involves countless adventures and good precision!
*
He lifted his arm upwards, checking the time from his watch in a bit of concluding the class.
* Alright students, I believe we have come to the end of today’s class.
Do well to keep practicing and trying all possible routes, in growing from your inner channels.
With no other words, I will say till we meet in our next class.
The school’s alarms sounded!
!
!
*Yay, it’s lunch time.!
* Few students yelled childishly standing up from their seats, taking their bags and heading towards the school cafeteria.
The system of teaching was already known to them; lecture twice a day, a moment of break placed amidst the two class hours.
Helping students best cope with the system of the academy, by giving that extra hour to try out whatever they saw as leisure to them.
At this hour, the cafeteria was already bustling as usual with nonstop students placing orders on meals they would like to try from getting a craving after seeing the dishes yesterday.
Others who saw the need of practicing today’s lesson; venture into the library in search of more information regarding new concepts they learnt.
Amidst all of it was also a group led by Pier, the norm witch who led the group of freshmen from Lower Willow’s into the Hall of Grandeur.
At Araina’s table.
* What did you think of today’s class?
* Calia asked Araina before taking a bite from her hamburger.
She had a soda placed by her tray, keeping her gaze on Araina; who was staring at a few students leaving the cafeteria.
With a perplexed expression clouding her features.
She seems slightly distracting her from Calia’s words.
Since they were both neighbors from the same dorms, they attended the class together as well as coming to the cafeteria after class.
* Araina, are you listening?
* Calia asked her, pulling her thoughts towards her with an intricate look of awkwardness at how she was lost already amidst their conversations.
* Yeah…
ummm…
what do you think is going on today?
I mean all the other freshmen are heading outside.* She spoke out now diverting her attention towards Calia who had been staring at her now, with a know it all look on her face.
* Yeah, it’s about a trip to the garden of trees!
* Calia stated before taking a sip of soda from the soda can, looking at the entrance as well and the increasing number of students stepping outside.
* That sounds nice…* Araina made an enthusiastic remark about the trip.
* I mean an enchanted garden of trees.
How pleasant!
* Ariana finished her words wiping her mouth with a napkin closer to her plate of food and she looked at Calia expectantly.
* Don’t tell me.
* Calia said rolling her eyes, an uninterested look on her face.
She placed her elbow on the table, resting her head on her palm.
* I mean come on, enchanted trees!
*Ariana said holding a sparkle in her eyes which was very much noticeable to Calia.
I mean It is Piers…
and his lengthy speeches.
He could turn a fascinating event into a boring show!
* Calia said without interest in her tone, still sitting on her seat and not showing signs of standing up.
* Well I think he’s amusing.
And besides we would be seeing the trees and the plenty of rules written in them!
It would be fun.
* Araina said.
Standing up and stretching out her hands towards Calia who was still seated.
She smiled so charmingly at her.
* Come on, pleaseeeee…* She made a cute face at her; a puppy-like eyes, retaining a charming look across her face.
* Okay, fine let’s go!
* Calia relented to her words, standing up and they both walked out of the cafeteria.
Outside the cafeteria, they saw a group of students all heading towards the grand walkway by the side.
With each of them walking forward in pairs.
At the end of the walkway was the ‘arena of exhibit ‘ which held works of students from each passing generation who graduated from the academy.
The arena of exhibit was a tall single building, with a vast hallway, holding photos of various students from the academy; as well as their year of leaving the academy.
An intricate and advanced level of magic was used to organize the arena keeping each year’s project.
Behind the arena of exhibit, was the entrance to the garden of trees laid just behind the exhibit arena.
The garden draws students here for its calm and peaceful atmosphere.
Right now the line of students who were heading towards this location were still situated at the walkway, further away from even approaching yet, with Piers leading the way.
Through the orientation held yesterday, the students already knew the existence of this place, still they lacked an official consent into seeing the trees in the garden which Piers held.
*Alright people, just ahead is the arena of exhibits!.
Where the work of each passing generation of students work is kept.
* He said adjusting his glasses towards the bridge of his nose and he continues with his words.* Back at my time, we made an enchanted bubble, which rains snow!.* He explained lifting two fingers upward still walking forward.
He began telling the tales about his time.
What led to the creation of the enchanted bubble, how they all argued about it and how they finally ended up choosing the enchanted bubble over many options.
* He’s a fool!
* A guy amidst the number of students following him muttered silently.
* Yeah, you said it.
* His pal added after his bub who made an early remark.
Being absent minded of the other conversation going on, Piers was still telling his tales, after which he delved into other related stories surrounding the arena of exhibit.
He was an embodiment of tales both regarding the academy and unrelated to it.
