The first morning under the same roof arrived quietly.

Golden sunlight streamed through the curtains, filling the bedroom with warmth.

Years of strict discipline had trained him to wake before sunrise, even on weekends.

He sat at the edge of the mattress on the floor, reading emails from the Student Council while the rest of the room remained peaceful.

On the king-sized bed, Noah was sprawled comfortably across the pillows.

Nani, still asleep, had unconsciously hugged the fluffy white cat like a stuffed toy.

A faint smile appeared on Sky’s face.

“They’re both heavy sleepers…”

Just then, Noah stretched lazily and jumped off the bed.

The sudden movement caused Nani to stir.

“…Mm…”

Slowly opening his eyes, Nani blinked in confusion before remembering where he was.

“Oh…”

“Good morning.”

Sky looked up from his laptop.

“Good morning.”

An awkward silence followed.

Neither of them knew how to act around each other.

After all…

They were married only on paper.

“I’ll use the bathroom first,” Nani said, scratching the back of his head.

“Okay.”

As Nani disappeared behind the bathroom door, Sky let out a quiet sigh.

“This is going to take some getting used to.” New chapters come out on g.com first.

Half an hour later…

The two walked downstairs together.

Every servant in the mansion stopped what they were doing.

“Good morning, Young Master.”

“Good morning, Young Master Nani.”

Nani smiled politely at each of them.

Sky noticed the servants relax almost immediately.

“They like you already.”

Nani tilted his head.

“Really?”

“You smiled at them.”

“They’re not used to that.”

Nani looked confused.

“Shouldn’t everyone smile?”

Sky was silent for a moment.

“In this house…”

“Not everyone does.”

Nani glanced at him, understanding there was more pain behind those words than Sky was willing to reveal.

At breakfast, Wongravee sat at the head of the table, reading the morning newspaper.

Without looking up, he spoke.

Sky calmly poured himself a cup of coffee.

“Yes.”

“And?”

Sky met his father’s gaze.

“And what?”

Wongravee folded the newspaper.

“You expect me to believe two young newlyweds spent their first night together doing nothing?”

The dining room fell silent.

Nani nearly choked on his orange juice.

Sky answered without changing his expression.

“What happens between my husband and me is private.”

The servants quickly lowered their heads, pretending not to hear.

For the first time in years, someone had dared to speak to Wongravee like that.

His father narrowed his eyes.

“…Very well.”

He stood from the table.

“I’ll discover the truth eventually.”

As Wongravee left the dining room, the tension slowly faded.

Nani let out a long breath.

“I thought my heart was going to stop.”

Sky looked at him.

“You handled it well.”

Nani laughed nervously.

“I almost spilled my juice.”

A tiny smile
