Monday morning arrived faster than either of them expected.
The black luxury car pulled into the parking lot of GMM University.
Sky was in the driver’s seat, while Nani sat beside him with Noah’s pet carrier on his lap.
Neither of them spoke much during the drive.
They were still adjusting to the strange reality that, on paper, they were married.
Sky parked the car and got out first.
He walked around to open the passenger door for Nani.
“Careful.”
Nani blinked in surprise.
“Thank you.”
“It’ll look strange if I don’t,” Sky replied quietly.
“My father may have people watching us.”
Nani understood immediately.
He smiled and nodded.
“I’ll try my best too.”
Together, they walked through the university gates.
Within seconds, every conversation on campus came to a halt.
“…Is that President Sky?”
“Who’s beside him?”
“They came to college together!”
“No way…”
The whispers spread like wildfire.
Students turned to stare as the Student President, famous for never letting anyone get close, walked calmly beside the gentle architecture student.
Some even noticed the simple silver rings on their left hands.
“Wait… are those wedding rings?”
“They can’t be…”
The rumors exploded.
Inside the Mechanical Engineering Department, Sky’s classmates crowded around him.
“President!”
“When were you going to tell us?”
“Who is he?”
“Is it true you got married?”
Sky calmly placed his books on the desk.
“Yes.”
The single word left everyone speechless.
“You… really got married?”
Another student asked nervously,
“Do you… love him?”
For the first time, Sky hesitated.
His marriage to Nani had begun as a contract.
But when he remembered Nani’s gentle smile…
…the way he always worried whether Sky had eaten…
…and how warmly he treated everyone around him…
Sky simply answered,
“I respect him.”
His classmates exchanged surprised glances.
That was more emotion than they had ever heard from him.
Meanwhile, Nani wasn’t having an easier time.
The Architecture Department was in complete chaos.
“Nani!”
“You disappeared for one weekend and came back married?”
“How is that even possible?”
“Were you secretly dating President Sky?”
Nani’s face turned bright red.
“N-No!”
“We…”
He stopped himself just in time.
“…met through mutual acquaintances.”
His friends looked unconvinced.
“Still…”
“You two actually look good together.”
Another classmate grinned.
“The cold Student President and our gentle architecture prince.”
“Like something out of a romance novel.”
Nani laughed awkwardly.
“If only it were that simple…”
At lunchtime, Sky waited outside the Architecture building.
Students passing by openly stared.
“There he is again.”
“He’s waiting for his husband.”
Nani hurried out of class, slightly embarrassed by all the attention.
“You didn’t have to wait.”
“I said we’d have lunch together.”
“Father’s assistant is somewhere on campus.” Get faster updates on g.com.
Nani nodded in understanding.
“I almost forgot.”
As they walked toward the cafeteria, Noah peeked out from his pet backpack and meowed happily.
Sky reached over and gently scratched behind the kitten’s ears.
“You’ve gotten attached to him.”
Nani smiled.
“I think Noah has decided you’re his second owner.”
Sky looked at the fluffy cat.
“…I’m honored.”
Nani couldn’t help laughing.
The sound made several nearby students stop and stare.
One whispered,
“I’ve never seen President Sky look so… relaxed.”
Neither Sky nor Nani noticed.
They were too busy talking about classes, assignments, and Noah’s latest adventures.
For the first time, their conversation flowed naturally, without awkward pauses.
From the second floor of the cafeteria, Wongravee’s assistant quietly took another series of photographs.
Sky opening the car door.
The two eating lunch together.
Sky smiling faintly at Noah.
He immediately sent the pictures to Wongravee.
Inside his office, Wongravee studied each image carefully.
His eyes narrowed.
“They’re convincing…”
He tapped the desk thoughtfully.
“But photographs can lie.”
He looked at his assistant.
“I want proof.”
“Real proof.”
“If they’re pretending…”
“I’ll expose them.”
Back at the university, Sky and Nani continued their lunch, unaware that every smile, every conversation, and every shared moment was being watched.
Their fake marriage had convinced the students.
But convincing Wongravee…
Would require much more than appearances.
