The rain continued long after their brief encounter.
Sky Wongravee stood beneath the old oak tree, his dark eyes fixed on the path where the young omega had disappeared.
“…Nani.”
The name lingered in his mind.
For the first time in years, someone had left an impression on him after only a few words.
With a quiet sigh, Sky turned and walked toward the Mechanical Engineering building.
“President Sky!”
A familiar voice called out.
It was his older brother, Tay Tawan, carrying a stack of documents.
“You’ve been standing in the rain? That’s unlike you.”
“I’m fine,” Sky replied shortly.
Tay studied his younger brother for a moment before smiling.
“You look distracted.”
“I’m not.”
“If you say so.”
Sky didn’t answer.
Instead, he took the documents and continued walking toward the Student Council office.
Meanwhile…
At the Architecture Department, Nani Hirunkit carefully placed the tiny white kitten onto a soft cushion beside his desk.
“There you go, Noah.”
The kitten stretched lazily before curling into a fluffy ball.
Several classmates gathered around immediately.
“So cute!”
“Is Noah coming to class again?”
“I swear he’s the unofficial mascot of Architecture.”
Nani laughed softly.
“He doesn’t like staying home alone.”
One of his friends leaned closer and whispered teasingly,
“I saw you talking to the Student President.”
Nani blinked.
“The Mechanical Engineering senior?”
“Yes! Sky Wongravee.”
“I wasn’t really talking to him…”
“He never talks to anyone.”
Nani smiled awkwardly.
“He seemed… lonely.”
His friends exchanged surprised looks.
“Lonely? That cold guy?”
Nani gently stroked Noah’s head.
“Sometimes people who look the coldest are carrying the heaviest burdens.”
Noah purred happily in response.
Elsewhere…
Inside the Student Council office, Sky signed several documents before his vice president entered.
“President.”
“What is it?”
“The Architecture Department requested permission to organize an exhibition next month.”
Sky glanced at the proposal.
The applicant’s name caught his attention.
Nani Hirunkit.
For a brief second, his fingers stopped moving.
Without realizing it, the image of the smiling omega holding the frightened kitten returned to his mind.
He quietly closed the file.
“Approved.”
His vice president looked surprised.
“You didn’t even read the proposal.”
Sky stood up.
“I trust they know what they’re doing.”
As he walked toward the window, rain continued to fall over GMM University.
Somewhere on campus, a gentle omega was probably smiling while carrying a tiny white cat.
Sky didn’t understand why that thought refused to leave him.
Perhaps…
Some encounters were never meant to be forgotten.
And perhaps…
This was only the beginning.
