Hueco Mundo, the endless Sea of Sand.

Across the boundless white dunes, a tiny snake measuring barely ten centimeters in length slowly poked its head out from beneath the sand.

A minuscule hole was visible along its abdomen, while its head and upper face were covered by a bone-white Hollow mask.Full novel: Bleach: From the Weakest Hollow to the Spirit King — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Two small horn-like protrusions extended upward from the top of the mask, giving it a fierce appearance despite its tiny size.

Lin Huang stared blankly at the endless white desert stretching before him, unable to recover from the shock.

Three days had already passed, yet he still couldn’t believe he had truly transmigrated.

He clearly remembered taking advantage of his free time the previous weekend to visit the most famous temple in his hometown on a self-driving trip.

The moment he stepped through the temple gates, a chubby monk with large ears suddenly appeared before him and mysteriously declared that his fortune this year was exceptionally prosperous, that a tremendous stroke of luck awaited him, and that his life was about to undergo a major turning point.

The result…

On the drive home, a dump truck driving in the wrong lane smashed directly into his car.

His small sedan was crushed beyond recognition, leaving no chance of survival.

When he opened his eyes again, he had already awakened in Hueco Mundo’s endless Sea of Sand.

“So this is what that ‘stroke of great luck’ and ‘major turning point’ meant…” Lin Huang silently swore that if he ever returned to Earth, the very first thing he would do would be to find that fat monk and beat him senseless.

Looking up at Hueco Mundo’s eternally dim sky before lowering his gaze to the silent white desert, he felt like crying, yet no tears would come.

“When other people transmigrate, they get a System, an old master hidden in a ring, or some heaven-defying bloodline.

But when it’s my turn, I become a Hollow?

Not only that, I’m a tiny snake-shaped Hollow without limbs that’s only ten centimeters long.” According to everything he knew about Bleach, even the weakest newly born Hollow transformed from an ordinary Plus possessed physical abilities and spiritual power far exceeding those of a normal human.

But what about him?

He had become nothing more than an insignificant Miniature Hollow.

He had no doubt that even the soul of an ordinary deceased human could probably stomp him to death with a single step.

“System?” “Old Grandpa?” “Status Panel?” He stubbornly called out over and over, hoping some hidden cheat would answer him.

Nothing happened.

After wasting a long time, Lin Huang could only sigh in defeat.

Fortunately, he wasn’t completely ordinary.

Although his body was pitifully weak, he possessed an extremely rare innate Hollow ability called Demonic Fetus Parasitism.

Once activated, he could invade and parasitize the body of another living being.

If the parasitism succeeded, he would perfectly inherit the host’s spiritual pressure, abilities, appearance, and memories, allowing him to live under that identity for as long as the body survived.

Unless he willingly abandoned the host or the body itself was destroyed, no one would discover his true form.

However, Demonic Fetus Parasitism came with three strict limitations.

First, it could only parasitize living beings.

Corpses were completely useless.

Second, the target’s spiritual pressure could not exceed twice his own.

Otherwise, parasitism would fail before it even began.

Third, the ability could only be used thirteen times throughout his entire life.

During the past three days, Lin Huang had remained hidden around these sand dunes, constantly searching for a suitable target.

Unfortunately, reality was cruel.

He couldn’t even defeat a newly born Hollow that had just evolved from a Plus, making successful parasitism completely impossible.

Left with no other option, he survived by absorbing the sparse reishi drifting through Hueco Mundo’s atmosphere, barely suppressing the hunger constantly gnawing at him.

“ROAR!” A deafening roar suddenly echoed across the desert, shaking the surrounding dunes until even the sand beneath Lin Huang trembled.

“Hollows are fighting.” Feeling the violent fluctuations of spiritual pressure carried within that roar, Lin Huang reacted immediately.

After surviving here for three days, he had already become accustomed to Hueco Mundo’s brutality.

In this endless white world, battle and slaughter occurred every moment.

The strong devoured the weak, while the weak struggled desperately to survive.

As always, Lin Huang buried his tiny snake body beneath the loose sand and silently slithered toward the source of the spiritual pressure, hoping to find an opportunity to scavenge something after the battle.

It wasn’t long before he reached the edge of the battlefield.

He didn’t dare move any closer.

At his current strength, even the shockwaves produced by two ordinary Hollows clashing could easily kill him.

Remaining hidden beneath the sand, Lin Huang cautiously observed the fight from afar.

One combatant was an Antelope Hollow standing over four meters tall.

Its body was lean and agile, while its spiritual pressure was stable and powerful.

Its opponent was a dark blue Pig Hollow whose bloated body was so enormous that its swollen belly nearly scraped across the ground.

Standing upright on its front limbs, it exceeded six meters in height.

Judging solely by spiritual pressure, the Antelope Hollow completely overwhelmed the Pig Hollow.

The outcome of the battle was never in doubt.

Throughout the fight, the Antelope Hollow maintained absolute dominance.

According to the classification of Hollows in the Bleach world, ordinary Hollows could generally be divided into four stages: Miniature Hollow, Newborn Hollow, Powerful Hollow, and Giant Hollow.

Most human souls that became Hollows began as Newborn Hollows.

Tiny creatures like Lin Huang, however, were far more likely to have originated from the souls of small animals.

Beyond ordinary Hollows existed the far stronger Menos Grande.

The Menos hierarchy consisted of three classes.

Gillian.

Adjuchas.

Vasto Lorde.

Clearly, both Hollows before him belonged to the Powerful Hollow stage among ordinary Hollows.

Realizing the battle was becoming increasingly unfavorable, the Pig Hollow suddenly rolled backward to create distance before turning around and pointing its rear toward the Antelope Hollow.

“Pshhh!” A massive cloud of foul yellowish-green gas erupted from behind the Pig Hollow, spreading rapidly across the battlefield toward its opponent.

“Ugh…” Even from his hiding place, the revolting stench reached Lin Huang’s nose.

His stomach churned violently, and he nearly vomited beneath the sand.

The Antelope Hollow reacted with astonishing speed.

The instant the poisonous gas spread, it leaped dozens of meters into the air.

Bone-white armor instantly covered its forelegs as it descended with tremendous force, driving both hooves directly onto the Pig Hollow’s head.

Bang!

A heavy impact echoed across the battlefield.

Unable to evade in time, the Pig Hollow’s enormous masked head exploded instantly.

Blood, brain matter, and shattered flesh scattered like a crushed watermelon, dyeing the white sands crimson.

Its Hollow mask shattered into more than a dozen fragments that flew across the battlefield.

One palm-sized triangular fragment landed barely several meters away from Lin Huang.

His eyes locked onto it.

He unconsciously swallowed.

Every instinct within his Hollow body screamed at him to rush over and devour the fragment immediately.

The concentrated reishi contained within a Hollow’s mask was an irresistible temptation.

Yet the rationality carried over from his previous human life desperately warned him that provoking the victorious Antelope Hollow would be nothing short of suicide.

While he hesitated, the Antelope Hollow calmly collected and absorbed every other fragment of the shattered mask.

Only the piece lying closest to Lin Huang remained untouched.

Then something unexpected happened.

A distinctly human smile appeared beneath the Antelope Hollow’s mask.

Turning toward the spot where Lin Huang hid beneath the sand, she suddenly spoke.

“I’m full today.

You can have that last fragment.” Her voice was clear and gentle.

She was obviously a female Hollow.

Lin Huang’s heart skipped a beat.

“She found me?” His entire body stiffened beneath the sand.

His mind went completely blank.

He had no idea what to do.

Seeing that he remained motionless, the Antelope Hollow spoke once more.

“Don’t want it?

If you don’t, I’ll eat it myself.” Those words immediately snapped Lin Huang out of his daze.

Since she had already discovered him, there was absolutely no need for her to set any kind of trap.

With her strength, killing him would require nothing more than casually lifting a hoof.

At the same time, her goat-like appearance and gentle female voice reminded him of a certain Hollow from Bleach, causing a vague guess to form in his mind.

“If it’s really her…

then she probably isn’t lying.” Without hesitating any longer, Lin Huang burst out from beneath the sand at full speed.

He seized the mask fragment in his mouth before immediately turning around and slithering away as fast as he possibly could.

The Antelope Hollow quietly watched his retreating figure.

The smile beneath her mask grew slightly wider as she softly murmured to herself, “What an interesting little fellow…”
