“Am I…
inside Liotta Ekk’s Inner World?” Lin Huang looked around with curiosity.
A dark and desolate shoreline stretched endlessly before him.
Although it vaguely resembled Hueco Mundo’s Sea of Sand, it was clearly different.
After observing his surroundings for a while, he finally confirmed his suspicion.
He had entered Liotta Ekk’s Inner World.
Demonic Fetus Parasitism had succeeded.
He had completely seized everything that belonged to the Chameleon Hollow.
Liotta Ekk’s spiritual pressure.
His innate abilities.
His combat techniques.
And every memory accumulated throughout his life.
The instant the parasitism was completed, the remaining spiritual pressure contained within Liotta Ekk’s body merged with Lin Huang’s own, causing his spiritual pressure to increase nearly fivefold.
Although his true body was still only a Giant Hollow…
The intensity of his spiritual pressure had already surpassed that of an ordinary Gillian by a considerable margin and was steadily approaching the level possessed by an Adjuchas.
At the same time…
He inherited every technique Liotta Ekk had mastered.
Besides common Menos abilities such as Cero, Bala, Sonído, and Pesquisa…
He also completely inherited Liotta Ekk’s unique abilities.
Stealth.
And Self-Destruction.
As he continued browsing through Liotta Ekk’s memories, Lin Huang gradually learned everything about him.
He discovered that Liotta Ekk had been gravely wounded while fighting Fidorb and Baticaroa, two Adjuchas serving under Baraggan Louisenbairn.
Because of those injuries, Liotta Ekk had desperately attempted to devour Lin Huang and Nelliel in order to halt the continuous decline of his spiritual pressure.
…
A vast black forest stretched endlessly beneath the Sea of Sand.
Towering twisted trees several hundred meters tall blocked out everything around them.
The entire forest radiated an ancient and oppressive atmosphere.
“So the Sand Tide Storm carried me into the Forest of Menos…” The Chameleon Hollow, whose eyes had remained tightly shut until now, slowly opened them.
He carefully observed his surroundings before immediately recognizing the familiar landscape.
This was the Forest of Menos hidden beneath Hueco Mundo’s endless desert.
A bitter smile appeared on the Chameleon Hollow’s face.
“I wonder how Nelliel is doing…” The Liotta Ekk standing here was no longer the original owner.
It was Lin Huang.
After the successful parasitism, Lin Huang’s true body remained safely hidden inside Liotta Ekk’s Inner World, while his consciousness completely controlled the Chameleon Hollow’s body.
The experience felt almost identical to piloting a living body.
He slowly moved his dark green claws.
A trace of excitement appeared in his eyes.
After spending several months living as a gigantic serpent…
Having arms and legs once again felt surprisingly refreshing.
What pleased him even more was another unexpected discovery.
Liotta Ekk’s body had completely recovered.
The cracks covering his Hollow mask had disappeared.
His severed tail had also fully regenerated.
“I never expected Demonic Fetus Parasitism to restore the host’s injuries.” Lin Huang couldn’t help smiling.
This also meant…
Liotta Ekk’s body had escaped the fate of continuing to regress.
Although the spiritual pressure lost during his decline hadn’t completely returned…
The restored Hollow mask meant this body once again possessed the potential to stand at the Adjuchas level.
“As long as I continue hunting…” “This body should recover its original strength very quickly.” Inside the Inner World…
Lin Huang silently analyzed the situation.
More importantly…
Every increase in this body’s spiritual pressure would simultaneously nourish his true body.
“Liotta Ekk hasn’t even fully recovered yet.” “And my true body’s spiritual pressure has already increased tremendously.” “If I completely restore him to his peak…” “Then even while remaining a Giant Hollow…” “My true body could possess spiritual pressure equal to an Adjuchas.” Thinking this…
Lin Huang no longer hesitated.
Activating Sonído…
He instantly disappeared from where he stood.
It was time to test this body in actual combat.
Whoosh!
The sound of breaking air echoed softly.
Moments later…
A dark green Chameleon Hollow quietly stood upon the branch of an enormous twisted tree.
His cold gaze overlooked the forest below.
Hundreds of towering Gillians wandered aimlessly beneath the trees.
“I found them.” “As expected…” “The Forest of Menos never lacks Gillians.” Without wasting another moment…
Lin Huang activated Sonído once more.
His figure instantly vanished.
Appearing directly behind one Gillian…
His sharp claws suddenly pierced into the back of its neck.
“ROAR!” The Gillian released only a brief howl.
Its gigantic head was cleanly severed.
Lin Huang immediately tore away its Hollow mask before swallowing it whole.
The instant the mask entered his body…
It dissolved completely.
An enormous amount of reishi rapidly flowed throughout Liotta Ekk’s body.
His spiritual pressure immediately began increasing.
Strictly speaking…
This wasn’t growth.
It was recovery.
The experiment perfectly confirmed Lin Huang’s earlier speculation.
As long as this body continued devouring Hollows…
Its former Adjuchas-level strength would gradually return.
Every bit of recovered spiritual pressure would then be transferred directly to Lin Huang’s true body.
Without stopping…
Lin Huang immediately rushed toward a second Gillian.
By now…
The surrounding Gillians had already noticed the disturbance.
Hundreds of gigantic mouths slowly opened.
Black and crimson spiritual pressure rapidly gathered.
Hundreds of Cero were simultaneously aimed toward Lin Huang.
Faced with such an overwhelming sight…
He remained perfectly calm.
Slowly raising one claw…
Three Bala instantly shot forward.
The projectiles accurately blasted through the second Gillian’s neck.
Before the giant body even collapsed…
Lin Huang had already leaped onto its head and devoured its Hollow mask.
At almost the exact instant the second Gillian fell…
The remaining Gillians suddenly lost sight of him.
Because…
He had disappeared.
Stealth.
Liotta Ekk’s unique ability instantly erased both his presence and spiritual pressure.
Not a single Gillian could detect him.
At his current level…
Liotta Ekk’s body hadn’t yet fully recovered.
Facing several hundred Gillians simultaneously remained dangerous.
Fortunately…
Stealth was exceptionally effective against mindless opponents.
Far behind the main group…
Two slower Gillians lagged behind.
Whoosh!
Lin Huang suddenly reappeared.
The first strike after leaving Stealth carried three times its normal power.
His claw instantly crushed one Gillian’s head.
At almost the same time…
His regenerated tail whipped violently through the air.
A blade of spiritual pressure shot from its tip before slicing cleanly through the second Gillian’s neck.
It was Sword Scale Kill.
Even while controlling Liotta Ekk’s body…
Lin Huang could still use the abilities belonging to his true body.
Although Liotta Ekk naturally lacked the unique reverse Sword Scale possessed by Lin Huang’s original serpent body…
Greatly reducing the technique’s overall power…
His current spiritual pressure remained more than sufficient.
Against ordinary mindless Gillians…
Even a weakened Sword Scale Kill remained a fatal attack.
Immediately after succeeding…
Lin Huang activated Stealth once more.
His body silently disappeared into the Forest of Menos.
Within only a short period…
He had already devoured the Hollow masks of four Gillians.
His spiritual pressure continued rapidly approaching the Adjuchas level.
Maintaining a safe distance…
Lin Huang quietly followed the enormous Gillian herd through the forest.
He intended to hunt them one after another.
Until every last Gillian had been devoured.
Only then would this parasitic body completely recover its former strength as an Adjuchas.
