After dealing with the Pig-headed Hollow, Lin Huang immediately found Grimmjow, who was still dodging and weaving through the pursuing group of Gillians.

Although Grimmjow had already shaken off most of them, dozens of Mindless Gillians continued chasing after him relentlessly.

Lin Huang’s Sword Scales danced as purple Spiritual Pressure flowed across their edges, effortlessly slaughtering every Gillian pursuing Grimmjow.Full novel: Bleach: From the Weakest Hollow to the Spirit King — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“Boss, don’t kill them all.

Remember to leave one for me!” Just as Lin Huang was about to finish off the final Gillian, Grimmjow hurriedly shouted from nearby.

Hearing this, Lin Huang immediately halted the Sword Scales that were about to descend, twisted his serpentine body, and gracefully withdrew.

After being chased all this time, Grimmjow looked at the lone remaining Mindless Gillian and revealed a cruel yet excited grin.

“You’re the only one left, big guy!” Before his words had even finished, Grimmjow, who had been holding back his frustration for quite some time, leaped high into the air.

His lithe body transformed into streaks of blue afterimages as he shot toward the bewildered Gillian like an arrow released from its bow.

Although Grimmjow had not yet advanced into the Menos Grande class, he had followed Lin Huang for a long time, devouring numerous Gillian masks and even the flesh of several Adjuchas.

His Spiritual Pressure had already surpassed that of an ordinary Gillian.

His speed was astonishing.

Pale blue Spiritual Pressure wrapped around both foreclaws as he tore through the air with a piercing screech, viciously slashing toward the Gillian’s neck.

“Puchi!” The sharp claws swept across, carving ten deep blue slashes through the Gillian’s flesh as dark red blood gushed out instantly.

“Roar!!” The Gillian roared in pain and fury.

Seeing his attack succeed, Grimmjow’s eyes flashed with pride.

The wounded Gillian immediately opened its enormous mouth in rage as a blackish red Cero rapidly condensed inside, preparing to retaliate.

Grimmjow never paused.

He continuously darted back and forth, tracing unpredictable paths that made it impossible for the charging Gillian to lock onto him.

Taking advantage of the opening, Grimmjow closed the distance once more.

His leopard tail lashed through the air like a steel whip, carrying tremendous force as it smashed heavily into the Gillian’s thick leg.

Boom!

A dull impact echoed through the forest.

The Gillian instantly lost its balance and crashed heavily onto the ground.

By sheer coincidence, its back slammed directly against an incomparably sharp, pale giant tree branch.

“Puchi!” The enormous branch pierced straight through the Gillian’s massive body.

“Roar!” The intense pain from having its body impaled instantly disrupted the charging Cero, forcing the Gillian to let out an agonized shriek.

Naturally, Grimmjow wouldn’t let such an opportunity slip away.

He leaped high once again as the pale blue Spiritual Pressure surrounding his claws surged to its limit.

Like ten razor sharp blades, his claws slashed downward with overwhelming force.

The strike accurately split open the Gillian’s skull, bringing its painful howls to an abrupt end.

Just like that, Grimmjow cleanly completed the feat of a Giant Hollow killing a Menos Grande.

Without delay, he rushed forward and struggled to bite the Gillian’s Hollow mask free from the giant tree branch.

Dragging the millstone sized trophy behind him, he wagged his tail and proudly trotted over to Lin Huang.

“Boss, how was that?

A Giant Hollow successfully killing a Menos Grande!” Watching Grimmjow’s obvious desire for praise, Lin Huang chuckled lightly.

“Not bad.

Very well done.” Clearly, Grimmjow still believed Lin Huang to be an Adjuchas.

If he ever learned that Lin Huang was technically still the same class of Giant Hollow as himself, yet already possessed the strength to hunt Adjuchas, the expression on Grimmjow’s face would certainly be priceless.

Over the following days, Lin Huang and Grimmjow cooperated flawlessly, roaming throughout the surrounding territories while constantly challenging and hunting Adjuchas.

Their strategy rarely changed.

Grimmjow would lure away the Gillian forces under the target’s command, while Lin Huang relied on Stealth to launch a lightning fast surprise attack, eliminating the commanding Adjuchas before the battle could truly begin.

Several months passed in this manner.

By then, Lin Huang had already hunted nearly twenty Lower and Mid Adjuchas.

On this particular day, shortly after killing a Mid Adjuchas Crow Hollow and devouring its Hollow mask, the dark purple Spiritual Pressure surrounding Lin Huang suddenly erupted violently, shattering an invisible bottleneck.

His tyrannical Spiritual Pressure overflowed like an endless tide, startling every wandering Gillian nearby into terrified howls as they fled in panic.

“Boss…

got stronger again…” Standing nearby, Grimmjow silently marveled at the overwhelmingly oppressive Spiritual Pressure radiating from Lin Huang.

“This…

is High Adjuchas level Spiritual Pressure!” That was correct.

Lin Huang’s Spiritual Pressure had officially reached the level of a High Adjuchas.

Yet his true race remained that of a Giant Hollow that had not even advanced into the Menos Grande class.

At the same time, a powerful premonition quietly surfaced within him.

As long as he devoured just one more Adjuchas, he would undergo a complete transformation and officially advance into the Gillian stage.

“If I already possess Spiritual Pressure comparable to a High Adjuchas before even becoming a Gillian…” “Then after I finally advance…

will my Spiritual Pressure directly reach the level of an ordinary Vasto Lorde?” Lin Huang silently pondered.

His gaze then shifted toward Grimmjow, who had faithfully followed him all this time.

This fellow had also benefited tremendously.

Although Grimmjow was merely eating the leftovers from Lin Huang’s hunts, those leftovers alone represented an incredible opportunity.

Now, Grimmjow had likewise reached the absolute limit of the Giant Hollow stage and stood only one step away from evolving into a Gillian.

Once he successfully advanced, his Spiritual Pressure would undoubtedly far surpass that of an ordinary Gillian and might even rival some weaker Lower Adjuchas.

Clearly, after following Lin Huang, Grimmjow’s rate of growth had already greatly surpassed the pace shown in the original story.

In the original timeline, by the time Aizen transformed him into an Arrancar, Grimmjow had already reached the peak of the Adjuchas class and was only a single step away from becoming a true Vasto Lorde.

However, if things continued at this pace, Grimmjow would very likely evolve into a Vasto Lorde entirely through his own efforts before Aizen ever arrived in Hueco Mundo.

As for Lin Huang…

He even possessed the confidence that if this continued, then by the time Aizen descended upon Hueco Mundo, he would already possess the strength to contend against him.

Rumble!!

Suddenly, both Lin Huang and Grimmjow sensed an overwhelmingly terrifying clash of Spiritual Pressure accompanied by deafening roars erupting from deep within the Forest of Menos ahead.

“There’s actually a large scale battle between Adjuchas?” Feeling the violent and chaotic Spiritual Pressure fluctuations ahead, Lin Huang glanced toward Grimmjow before speaking in a serious tone.

“Stay here.” “You still aren’t qualified to participate in the battle ahead.” “I’ll go take a look.” Without waiting for Grimmjow’s response, Lin Huang immediately activated Stealth, concealing both his Spiritual Pressure and presence before rapidly making his way toward the center of the chaotic battlefield.
