Chi Yu casually lifted the suitcase from the floor and straightened up as if nothing had happened.

He still carried that cold, sharp aura—fierce brows and eyes with a wild edge, naturally intimidating.

Inwardly, he thought to himself: Since I’ve caught you here in the country now… you’re not getting away this time.Full novel: Brother, Stop Teasing Me, My Legs Are Weak — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Like nothing had happened at all, Chi Yu strode past Xia Shuran, who was nearly frozen in place, and left the cabin.

Xia Shuran hugged her backpack tightly. The boy’s faint, warm breath seemed to linger by her ear.

She was quite taken with this boy, but the words he’d said filled her with dread.

She’d never told him her name—how did he know it?

Even if Huo Xiaoyang had added her on WeChat, and even if he’d sent Chi Yu her chat history, it still didn’t add up.

There was nothing on Xia Shuran’s WeChat that could reveal her Italian name—no text, no photos.

In an instant, a flood of thoughts rushed through her mind, and her expression shifted from the shy flutter of attraction to a deathly pallor.

She even considered the possibility that she’d been photographed without her knowledge in Italy, and that her photo and name had been posted on some obscure website.

She couldn’t just sit back and wait. She needed to find Chi Yu and get answers.

Within a single minute, the warmth of her infatuation had cooled completely. Now she felt nothing but wariness toward him.

No matter how handsome he was, no matter how good his body was, no matter how much he fit her type—he absolutely could not be allowed to invade her privacy.

Just then, Huo Xiaoyang bounced over, all noise and energy.

“Sis, what did Brother Yu just say to you? I’ve never seen him take the initiative like that with anyone.”

Xia Shuran had things on her mind and no time to deal with him. She forced a smile in his direction and turned to walk off.

“Hey, sis!”

“Come on, don’t you get it? She’s into Yu, and Yu seems to have some interest in her too.”

Huo Xiaoyang’s heart skipped a beat. He couldn’t help thinking:

Just a moment ago, Brother Yu had messaged me asking me to send him the beautiful sister’s WeChat.

Could Brother Yu actually be into this type? No way!

Huo Xiaoyang’s mood plummeted instantly. He turned to look at Xu Yanxi, who was also still trying to process what had happened.

Huo Xiaoyang walked over.

“Yanxi, Brother Yu has never said that much to a stranger before—and he even leaned in close to say it. Do you think he likes that type? The beautiful sister?”

“Do you even need to ask? Yu’s a man too. That little white rabbit has a figure like that—who wouldn’t like it? And who told you she’s a ‘sister’ anyway?”

Huo Xiaoyang punched him lightly. “Figure like a sister, face like a younger girl.”

The two started roughhousing again.

Xu Yanxi suddenly dropped a cold remark—”Don’t think Chi Yu is anything like you two”—before running off the plane to chase after him.

“Hey, isn’t he exactly like us? We’re all men!”

“Hahaha, lay off her. She’s hurting too.”

“Why does Yanxi have to hang herself on that one tree? If Yu really liked the bright, striking type, they’d have gotten together ages ago. Why would he still be single to this day?”

Huo Xiaoyang’s eyes flickered, as if something had occurred to him.

“Remember that yacht trip around Europe we took? The Italy stop—the morning before we left, didn’t Brother Yu have a hickey on his neck?”

“Of course. We joked back then that Yu might be into foreign girls.”

Huo Xiaoyang’s mood suddenly lifted. “Good. Then I can chase after the beautiful sister with a clear conscience.”

“She’s a beautiful younger girl.”

Huo Xiaoyang slung an arm around Old Lu’s shoulders. “Whatever, whatever. After we go street racing in the western suburbs tonight, I’ll ask her out tomorrow. Man, I feel like I’ve found my first love.”

“Give me a break. First love? You were out messing around just last night, and now you’re playing the innocent.”

“What do you know? This time I’m serious. I’m putting my heart into it…”

As soon as Xia Shuran got off the plane, she spotted Chi Yu’s back. He hadn’t gone far.

She quickened her pace to catch up, then gradually slowed to a stop.

She took a breath, steadied herself, and thought it over. Now wasn’t the time for a confrontation.

Besides, she was genuinely a little intimidated by him. Asking over WeChat would be safer.

The baggage claim area was down this one path, so Xia Shuran had no choice but to follow behind Chi Yu.

She kept her steps measured, staying far back.

Then she saw Xu Yanxi catch up to him. The airport was crowded, and Xu Yanxi didn’t notice Xia Shuran.

Xia Shuran deliberately used the crowd to conceal herself, quietly observing Chi Yu and Xu Yanxi as they now walked side by side.

Even from this distance, it was clear that Chi Yu’s attitude toward Xu Yanxi was cold—he barely even responded to her.

Plenty of women along the way stole glances at Chi Yu, but not one dared approach him. No one had the nerve to make a move on him.

That confirmed what Xia Shuran had sensed about him—in people’s eyes, Chi Yu came across as extremely aloof.

She continued watching the two of them from behind.

Xu Yanxi was wearing a striking red dress.

A limited-edition Chanel, with a V-neckline, the hem falling a few centimeters above the knee.

It suited her bright, bold features well. Her figure was slim and graceful.

As for the brand of Chi Yu’s clothes, Xia Shuran had no idea—her fashion knowledge didn’t extend to menswear.

He was dressed simply: a short-sleeved shirt and loose trousers, all in black.

From behind, she could see the pale, slender nape of his neck, flowing into the taut line of his shoulders.

His shoulder blades arched slightly, and with the sway of his clothes, one could catch a glimpse of the young man’s powerful, taut waist.

The “broad shoulders, narrow waist, wolf-dog type” physique people talked about online—Xia Shuran had finally found a real-life example.

Sure enough, with a good body, anything looks stylish, carrying a hint of youthful, wild allure.

But as she kept looking, she suddenly felt this physique looked a bit familiar.

Xia Shuran felt like she had seen it somewhere before—even touched it, kissed it.
