During the day, the bar only had employees.

And the second-generation rich kids led by Gu Lingyun.

He gritted his teeth and grabbed a handful of his own hair, complaining to his friend: “My sister recently brought a woman home to live with us.”Full novel: Bully Me? Then I’ll Invite You to the Underworld. — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Duan Beiheng took a drag of his cigarette and blew the smoke into the face of the woman in his arms. He smiled and said, “What? Your sister’s into women too?”

Gu Lingyun exploded: “Your sister’s the one into women. Your whole family’s into women.”

Duan Beiheng glanced at Gu Lingyun with a dark look: “You curse at me like that, aren’t you afraid I’ll go after you?”

Gu Lingyun flipped him off: “Psycho.”

Duan Beiheng pushed the woman in his arms aside: “Seriously, about that thing I told you—have you thought it over?”

A while back, Duan Beiheng had invested in a business venture and ran short on funds, so he’d approached Gu Lingyun for investment.

Gu Lingyun did have some spare cash. Originally, he figured since it was his good friend, investing a bit wouldn’t hurt. But Shen Wangshu’s prediction that he’d lose money today had left a psychological scar on him.

He naturally didn’t believe Shen Wangshu, but if he really did lose everything down to his underwear, wouldn’t that just prove Shen Wangshu right?

Gu Lingyun waved his hand: “Let’s talk about it after today.”

Duan Beiheng lit another cigarette, smoke shrouding his face.

He glanced at the woman in his arms. Moli caught the look and quickly picked up the drinks from the table.

“Master Gu, let me toast you.”

Gu Lingyun frowned: “What did I do to deserve a toast from you?”

Moli choked for a moment, then spoke in a soft, delicate voice: “Master Gu saved my best friend last month. I’m thanking you.”

Gu Lingyun looked confused: “Your best friend? Who?”

Moli’s mouth twitched: “Xiaoying.”

An image surfaced in Gu Lingyun’s mind—a girl with earrings covering her ears, nose piercing, lip piercing, eyebrow piercing all in place, topped with a head of punk-style hair.

Moli continued: “Looks like Master Gu remembers now. If it weren’t for you giving her five hundred thousand, she would have been forced to marry someone old enough to be her grandfather.”

“Oh.” Gu Lingyun remembered now.

Last month, Xiaoying had knelt in front of him, crying that her family was forcing her into marriage for a bride price.

She’d also said she would definitely pay him back once she earned the money.

Moli handed the glass over: “Master Gu, let me toast you.”

Gu Lingyun took the glass and took a sip: “So how is she doing now?”

Moli smiled strangely: “Her? She’s probably run away by now.”

Gu Lingyun felt the liquor had an odd taste. He’d never had anything like it, so he took another sip.

While savoring it, he complained: “Run away where? Is she still going to pay me back?”

Gu Lingyun looked at Moli, only to find her splitting into two.

He lowered his head to glance at the remaining liquid in his glass, his head grew heavy, and he slammed onto the table, passing out.

Duan Beiheng patted Gu Lingyun’s cheek. He glanced at Moli: “You know what to do? I don’t need to teach you, do I?”

Moli nodded: “I know.”

After moving Gu Lingyun into the hotel suite, she began unbuttoning his clothes while speaking softly.

“Master Gu, you can’t blame me for this. Blame yourself for showing her your account balance when you transferred money to Xiaoying last time.”

There were so many zeros at the end—no wonder someone had set their sights on him.

All the clothes were tossed on the floor, and Moli lay down beside Gu Lingyun.

Half an hour later.

A basin of water was splashed onto Gu Lingyun’s face.

The sudden cold and suffocation jolted Gu Lingyun awake from the bed.

A woman’s scream reached his ears.

Following the sound, he saw Moli clutching the blanket, her shoulders bare.

There was also someone standing by the bed.

Duan Beiheng held a basin in his hand, water droplets still clinging to it.

His eyes blazed with fury as he demanded: “Well, well, Gu Lingyun. I treated you like a brother, and you go behind my back to mess with my woman? If you don’t give me an explanation for this, I’m not letting it go.”

Gu Lingyun still hadn’t shaken off his dazed state: “Wh—what’s going on?”

“You’re asking what’s going on?” Duan Beiheng yanked the blanket off.

Gu Lingyun felt a sudden chill and couldn’t help but shiver involuntarily.

Looking down, Gu Lingyun was horrified. He grabbed a pillow to cover himself and jumped off the bed: “Holy shit, you two—”

Moli crawled half-crawling, half-kneeling to Duan Beiheng’s feet. She grabbed his pant leg and sobbed pitifully: “Beiheng, this has nothing to do with me. It was Master Gu… he forced me.”

Gu Lingyun’s mouth fell open in disbelief: “Hey, you can say whatever you want about food, but don’t go around saying things like that! What do you mean I forced you? I don’t remember a damn thing.”

Duan Beiheng: “Fine, fine, just fine. Gu Lingyun, you dare to do it but not own up to it. Are you even a man?”

Gu Lingyun shot back: “Whether I’m a man or not is none of your damn business. What kind of sick game are you two playing? Truth or dare? A prank?”

Duan Beiheng sneered: “Truth or dare, huh? I heard your brother is a researcher. What do you think would happen to your brother’s reputation if word got out that you slept with someone else’s girlfriend?”

Only then did Gu Lingyun’s expression darken: “You set me up.”

It wasn’t some big adventure, nor was it some prank.

Duan Beiheng spoke up: “I won’t waste words with you. One million, and we’ll settle this privately.”

Gu Lingyun’s face darkened like ink: “You’re dreaming.”

Duan Beiheng took out his phone: “Dreaming, huh? I’ll start a livestream right now and tell everyone that Gu Qingyan’s little brother is a pervert who sleeps with other people’s girlfriends.”

“Your brother has been getting quite a bit of attention domestically and internationally lately. Once this comes out, it’ll make headlines across the country.”

Gu Lingyun absolutely could not bring shame to the Gu family.

Him being a player was one thing; tarnishing the family name was another.

Gu Lingyun gritted his teeth and pointed at Duan Beiheng: “Give me all the photos and videos.”

Duan Beiheng: “Money first.”

Gu Lingyun transferred a million over, then with a dark face deleted all the photos and videos. He glared viciously at Duan Beiheng: “You’d better pray you never end up in my hands.”

Duan Beiheng raised an eyebrow: “I’d also advise you to stop messing with other people’s girlfriends.”

Having achieved his goal, Duan Beiheng left with Moli.

Gu Lingyun searched the room but couldn’t find his clothes anywhere. He called someone to bring him some, and the longer he waited, the angrier he got.

It wasn’t that he was short on money—his mother’s career abroad had been going extremely well these years, and since his eldest brother and second sister both refused her money, she compensated by sending him a hefty allowance every year.

But not being short on money was one thing; being set up was another.

Suddenly, Shen Wangshu’s words flashed through his mind.

“I counted on my fingers—you’re going to lose money today.”

Finally dressed, Gu Lingyun went home, planning to wait for Shen Wangshu to come back.

After all, Shen Wangshu had been staying at his place these past few days.

But he waited and waited, all the way until nightfall. Even Gu Shaohua had come home, and Shen Wangshu still hadn’t returned.

“Where’s Shen Wangshu?” Gu Lingyun asked.

Gu Shaohua looked puzzled: “How would I know? Aren’t you pretty annoyed with her? Why are you looking for her?”

Gu Lingyun couldn’t explain it to Gu Shaohua. He held out his hand: “What’s her phone number? I need it.”

“You think you can just ask and get it?” Gu Shaohua didn’t give it to him. “Don’t forget how you treated her last time.”

Gu Lingyun took a deep breath: “Sis, that woman is a bit uncanny—she’s got serious potential as a jinx. You should stay away from her. I have strong Yang energy and righteous spirit, so I’m not afraid of her.”

Gu Shaohua flipped him off: “Psycho.”

Gu Lingyun cursed under his breath: Damn it!
