Chu Xunsheng woke up in complete darkness.
The room was pitch black and impossible to see through. He could only feel that he was lying on a soft, large bed, with both wrists secured to the headboard by handcuffs.
He struggled slightly. The handcuffs were fastened very securely, and the inner sides were carefully lined with soft fabric.
Karma really goes around. The day before yesterday he was binding someone else, and today he was the one tied up.
He didn’t know what he was wearing, but it was as slippery as if he were wearing nothing at all. When Chu Xunsheng shifted slightly, the garment slid down.
The sensation of silk gliding across his skin made him shudder, and he let out a low, restless cough.
Yuan Du had been standing outside the door waging an internal battle. Hearing those few soft coughs, he immediately opened the door and entered.
With a snap, the lights turned on, and a warm yellow glow illuminated the entire room. Chu Xunsheng lifted his head with some discomfort, narrowing his eyes to look at the newcomer.
The person he had yearned for day and night appeared right before his eyes like this. Yuan Du’s breathing grew somewhat shallow. He walked into the room, placed the bowl of porridge he was carrying onto the nightstand, and swept a trembling glance over Chu Xunsheng.
Teacher Chu’s thin lips were pressed tightly together, his eyes seemingly holding an expression of displeasure. In Yuan Du’s mind, a man as powerful as him was forced to have his hands cuffed apart to the headboard, wearing only a wisp of thin silk that barely covered his privacy.
Yuan Du stepped forward, pulling the garment back up onto Chu Xunsheng’s shoulder where it had slipped due to his tossing, and spoke softly: “Teacher Chu, don’t blame A-Du. If you hadn’t appeared there, we could still have been normal master and disciple.”
He rested his head against Chu Xunsheng’s arm, contentedly feeling the man’s shallow breathing and skin warmth, and said: “I could be satisfied with being just a little A-Du, but I couldn’t accept being a poor wretch who could never see Teacher Chu again.”
Chu Xunsheng shrank back a little, avoiding this seemingly unhinged madman.
Yuan Du’s head met empty air. Feeling Chu Xunsheng’s evasive movement and recalling how Teacher Chu used to protect him, days that would never return, Yuan Du lowered his brows, his heart aching into a tangled, sour knot.
He picked up the bowl from the bedside and managed a forced smile: “Teacher, drink some porridge.”
Chu Xunsheng rattled his cuffed wrists, signaling for him to let him do it himself.
The metal collision produced a crisp sound. Yuan Du stirred the porridge in the bowl, scooped up a spoonful, blew on it gently, and brought it to Chu Xunsheng’s lips, saying: “Let me feed Teacher Chu?”
Chu Xunsheng averted his face and said coldly, “I can’t eat looking at your face.”
That remark was actually said out of spite. As the protagonist of the novel, Yuan Du would later build a massive harem and was quite handsome to begin with. However, having been bullied year-round previously, his face had been swollen and dirty, with his hair hanging long over his eyes to obscure his features, making his original good looks invisible.
By now, having practiced dark arts and presumably made a fortune through various shady dealings, his clothes and accessories were conspicuously luxurious. With careful grooming, he looked even more striking, and the dark arts lent a wicked, mesmerizing allure to his brows and eyes.
Lowering his gaze without a word, Yuan Du set the bowl down and bent over, seemingly searching for something.
Looking for the handcuff keys? Chu Xunsheng craned his neck to watch, only to see him pull out a black cloth strip and say with a smile: “Then I suppose I’ll just have to leave Teacher Chu temporarily blind.”
Chu Xunsheng shook his head, but Yuan Du ignored him, blindly tying the black cloth strip over his eyes and neatly securing a knot.
Yuan Du stood up and looked at the man’s blindfolded appearance. The man’s habitually stern face gained an added layer of eroticism from the black cloth, making him look exceptionally sexy.
Chu Xunsheng’s eyelashes trembled lightly. Being unable to see gave him a somewhat passive feeling, and with his vision stripped away, his other senses became far more acute.
Something cool approached the corners of his lips, pouring liquid into his mouth with unquestionable firmness.
It was a spoon.
Feeling genuinely thirsty, Chu Xunsheng obediently drank a few mouthfuls.
By the sixth mouthful, however, it turned out to be warm lips. Before Chu Xunsheng could figure it out, he took a bite, instantly realizing it was Yuan Du’s mouth, and immediately turned his face away in protest.
Instead, Yuan Du climbed right onto the bed, straddled him, pinned Chu Xunsheng’s shoulders down, and smashed his lips fiercely against the ones he had yearned for, sucking and biting with force as if devouring him.
With Chu Xunsheng unable to see, the numb, stinging sensation on his lips became all the more pronounced. He bit down hard, only to be met with an even more torrential assault.
Once the kiss ended, both of them were panting heavily. Wrapping his arms around Chu Xunsheng’s softening waist, Yuan Du looked at the slightly parted lips of the person beneath him, still trembling faintly.
Yuan Du slammed down into another kiss, feeling his soul leave his body and getting so high his scalp went numb.
Releasing the repeatedly bruised and abused pitiful lip flesh, he moved downward amidst Teacher Chu’s labored gasps, savagely sucking at his neck, collarbone, chest, and waist, heading toward even more taboo areas.
As he sucked, he yanked off the blindfold covering Chu Xunsheng’s eyes. Panting softly, although both of his ankles were locked in chains, Chu Xunsheng used his knees to thrust upward with force, pushing Yuan Du away.
“Get lost!”
Yuan Du had never seen Teacher Chu look so furious. In his memory, Teacher Chu was always distant and aloof, like a deity within reach yet untouchable. An inexplicable itch bloomed in his heart, as if a feather had lightly brushed past.
“Teacher Chu… I want… to make you feel good.”
He took a few steps forward, kneeling by the bedside, and lowered his head. Chu Xunsheng gripped the sheets tightly, his fingertips turning somewhat pale, and let out a soft moan. Paying close attention to Chu Xunsheng’s expression, Yuan Du tried harder to please him, trembling as he pushed forward his already reddened throat.
The villain who prepared the chains was acting like a true prisoner at this moment, desperately offering up everything in the hope that his deity might show him the slightest trace of pity.
Yuan Du regulated his breathing and offered a flattering smile to Chu Xunsheng: “Teacher Chu, let’s go to the bathroom.”
Giving him a cold look, Chu Xunsheng remained silent.
In truth, the entire sexual encounter had been suffocatingly oppressive. Chu Xunsheng maintained an aloof, uncooperative demeanor throughout, yet the occasional rough gasp was enough to make Yuan Du feel intoxicated.
Yuan Du managed a strained smile, his heart aching as if pierced by knives. Just as he was about to speak, he heard Chu Xunsheng finally open his mouth.
“I’ll go by myself.”
An expression of troubled difficulty crossed Yuan Du’s face, but under Chu Xunsheng’s unblinking, unwavering gaze, he immediately folded. From start to finish, he must have looked like a laughable clown in Teacher Chu’s eyes.
Every sharp object in the bathroom had already been processed by Yuan Du. Thinking it over, he nodded in agreement.
Chu Xunsheng entered the bedroom, filled the tub with water, lay down in the bathtub, and summoned the system.
“The mission failed, Little Chu… All our points have been cleared to zero, wuwu.”
Weeping, the system hugged Chu Xunsheng. Taking a closer look, it cried even harder: “Little Chu, which bastard violated you, ahhh…”
Tugging at its ear, Chu Xunsheng offered comfort: “It’s fine. If the points are gone, we can earn them back next world. I didn’t get the short end of the stick anyway.”
He slowly closed his eyes and sank into the water.
“Do you wish to confirm leaving this world?”
“Yes.”
Yuan Du sat outside waiting for a long time. In a daze of consciousness, he seemed to have a bizarre, multicolored dream. In the dream, there was no aloof and powerful Teacher Chu, only an opportunist sycophant. He grew up lonely amidst the bullying and disgust of others, ultimately becoming a feared big shot, becoming the very kind of person he once hated the most.
No, no, he couldn’t live without Teacher Chu.
Struggling awake, Yuan Du realized it was already deep in the night. The chilling wind made him shiver slightly, and that was when he noticed the sound of water in the bathroom had stopped a long time ago.
Walking over, he knocked on the door: “Teacher Chu?”
No response, a death-like silence.
Yuan Du’s heart trembled. A mystical, metaphysical sensation gripped his heart tightly, making it difficult for him to breathe.
Lightly, he pushed the door open. Lying in the water-filled bathtub was the handsome man, his soft hair floating on the surface, eyes tightly shut, with a few ambiguous marks still lingering on his body, but he had already lost his breath forever.
Yuan Du collapsed to the floor, staring blankly.
Had Teacher Chu left him?
No one would ever hold an umbrella for him again, no one would ever softly call him A-Du again, no one would ever smile faintly with his head raised amidst a sea of icy-blue flowers to touch his heartstrings ever again.
Ultimate pleasure and ultimate pain had actually both occurred on this very day.
An incomparable grief gripped Yuan Du’s heart. The protagonist, made immensely powerful by dark arts, finally wailed on the floor like a little boy, as if he had lost the entire world.
The next second, the outer door was crashed open with a bang. Ever since Chu Xunsheng went missing, Ji Yan had mobilized all his connections to search for his whereabouts. Every single minute of waiting had been agony for him. Rushing violently inside, he halted abruptly right in front of the bathroom door.
Ignoring him completely, Yuan Du blankly embraced Chu Xunsheng’s already ice-cold corpse, a complete blankness in the depths of his eyes.
That day, the people outside the door heard the third prince’s heart-shattering, agonizing cry for the very first time, and it was also the last time they ever saw the prince lose his composure and disregard others like that.
Yet the person was already gone, never to return.
