Su Wanqing let out a light laugh. She didn’t doubt Si Tu Jin’s financial strength. Forget a few crates of beer—if this young master wanted to book the entire hotpot street, it wouldn’t be impossible.

But Su Wanqing couldn’t let him do that.

“Alright, I know you’re impressive, Young Master Si Tu, but I don’t need it. Since I came out to work, I already prepared myself to be self-reliant. Besides, with your ability, asking you to cover just a few bottles of beer would be looking down on you.”Full novel: CEO, Enter My Game — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Su Wanqing raised her hand and pressed Si Tu Jin down into his seat, casually stuffing an opened bottle of beer into his hand. Only then did she turn to leave. Before going, she seriously added, “Wait for me. Just a few more crates. I’ll show you what I’m capable of.”

“Get lost. You’re several years younger than me. Stop calling yourself ‘big sister’ all the time!”

Even though Si Tu Jin said that, the corners of his lips had already curved upward. It was obvious he liked bickering and fooling around with Su Wanqing.

Su Wanqing bustled around the hotpot street like a hardworking little bee. By the time she finally finished, Si Tu Jin had almost finished his three bottles of beer.

“Here.”

Su Wanqing handed him a bottle of mineral water, smiling as she looked at him.

He rarely drank like this. Si Tu Jin was clearly a bit tipsy. A noticeable flush spread across his cheeks. He was already fair-skinned, and now he looked even more like a delicate young lady.

Si Tu Jin also noticed something was off. He rolled his eyes and pressed the cold water bottle against his cheek.

“Can we go?”

Su Wanqing calculated for a moment and nodded. “Let’s go. I’ll treat you to a meal.”

“Hehe, at least you’ve got some conscience. I came straight to see you the moment I arrived. I haven’t even eaten dinner yet.”

Su Wanqing curved her lips into a smile. “Let’s go. Since you rarely come, I’ll treat you to something good.”

Thinking of Si Tu Jin’s preferences, Su Wanqing chose one of Luo City’s top hotels. Their signature dish was, naturally, fish hotpot.

Although Luo City was a small city, it was still a riverside tourist destination. The high-end hotel’s decoration was grand and luxurious, not inferior to Shangjing at all.

When the dishes arrived, Young Master Si Tu liked them very much. Seeing that they were almost done eating, Su Wanqing found an excuse to step out, planning to settle the bill first.

Si Tu Jin had come from so far away to see her. Of course she had to play the role of a good host.

Even though the number on the bill used up her entire day’s earnings, thinking of Si Tu Jin’s satisfied smile made the corners of Su Wanqing’s lips lift slightly.

“Oh? Isn’t this Miss Su? What’s this? You actually have money to eat here?”

A familiar voice sounded from behind. Even if it turned to ashes, Su Wanqing would never forget it. It was Jian Shan Shan — the woman she hated to her bones.

Su Wanqing turned around and, sure enough, saw Jian Shan Shan’s face twisted in a sinister smile.

Seeing her, Su Wanqing’s eyes darkened slightly. She walked straight past her. She didn’t want any interaction with her. The best way was to ignore her completely.

“Why are you in such a hurry to leave?”

Jian Shan Shan stepped sideways and blocked her path. “What, rushing back to accompany a man? Makes sense. For someone like you to enter such a high-end place, you must have come with a man, right?”

Su Wanqing’s expression grew uglier. She glared angrily at Jian Shan Shan. “Move.”

“Pa—” Jian Shan Shan slapped Su Wanqing across the face. “Bitch, what are you—how dare you talk to me—”

“Ah—”

“Pa—” Before Jian Shan Shan could finish, Su Wanqing had already retaliated.

“Keep your mouth clean. Compared to the things you’ve done, I’m far more noble than you!”

Having been slapped, Jian Shan Shan grew even angrier. “Su Wanqing, what are you? How dare you hit me!”

“I hit you, so what? What’s there to dare or not?” Si Tu Jin appeared behind Su Wanqing at some point.

Although Si Tu Jin was younger, he was still the successor trained by the Si Tu family of Shangjing. Standing beside Su Wanqing, his presence easily suppressed Jian Shan Shan.

At this moment, Jian Shan Shan was furious but didn’t dare to speak. She glared fiercely at Su Wanqing.

Suddenly, her expression changed. One second she looked angry, the next she turned weak and pitiful, tears almost falling.

“Ge, she hit me.”

After saying that, Jian Shan Shan shot Su Wanqing a glance and threw herself toward Jian Ou beside her.

At some point, Jian Ou had appeared there with a dark expression.

He reached out and pulled Jian Shan Shan into his arms, his gaze cold as he looked at Su Wanqing.

“Apologize!”

Before Su Wanqing could react, Si Tu Jin stepped forward and shielded her behind him. “Why? She was the one who hit first.”

“Ge, I didn’t. The two of them teamed up to bully me.”

Jian Ou’s arm around Jian Shan Shan tightened slightly, and the coldness in his eyes toward Su Wanqing deepened.

“I said, apologize!”

From the moment Jian Ou appeared, Su Wanqing’s gaze had been fixed on him. Watching him gently protect Jian Shan Shan — that position used to be hers. But now someone else had taken it, and she had become the villain instead.

“I said apologize. Didn’t you hear me?”

Jian Ou suddenly strode forward and dragged Su Wanqing out from behind Si Tu Jin. His large hand clamped around her throat, as if with just a bit more force, he could choke her to death.
