Sheng Yuyue stubbornly suppressed all her emotions.

But the more she did so, the more she stirred Fu Yunting’s perverse amusement.

She started out taking the initiative, but in the end, she became the one being led.Full novel: Ceo’s Wife Disguised as Secretary, Flirts and Runs Away — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

When she faced the large floor-to-ceiling window, she caught a glimpse of her own dazed reflection in the glass, and her face flushed even deeper with embarrassment.

But she was never one to be coy or pretentious.

After a brief moment, she channeled that shyness into renewed vigor.

The two of them were like evenly matched opponents, silently vying against each other.

The setting sun had dyed the entire sky crimson, its light streaming into the office and complementing the blush on her face.

Fu Yunting finally had his fill, releasing the woman he had kept imprisoned in his embrace from the very beginning, and walked into the lounge by himself.

Sheng Yuyue watched his retreating figure and curled her lips.

Damn man. If she hadn’t been sturdy enough to take it, he would have sent her straight to meet her ancestors.

She straightened her disheveled clothes, tossed her hair, and walked out of the CEO’s office with an arrogant stride.

The moment she stepped out of the office, she let out a slight sigh of relief.

God, that was quite the workout.

She returned to her desk, gathered her things, slung her bag over her arm, and clocked out for the day.

When Fu Yunting emerged from the lounge, he had regained his cool, aloof demeanor, as if the man who had lost control time and again moments ago was someone else entirely.

The CEO’s office was empty, but on his office chair, he found the thin strip of fabric that had been on Sheng Yuyue’s body just moments before.

With a look of disdain, he tossed it into the trash can nearby.

Sitting back at his desk, he immersed himself in the work that had been interrupted.

When Sheng Yuyue got home, she immediately retreated into the bathroom.

She stripped off her professional suit, revealing a body covered in mottled marks.

She sank into the bath, letting the warm water envelop her entirely, finally easing the soreness from her body.

Closing her eyes, she thought about her plan over the past few months—step by step, it was finally coming to fruition.

She had been recruited into Huan Yu International on the strength of her impressive resume, taking on the role of the CEO’s secretary.

She had only been on the job for three months, but from her very first day, she had deliberately created opportunities to make her presence known in front of Fu Yunting, all without giving anyone a reason to fault her.

After all, as the CEO’s secretary, it was perfectly normal for her to come and go from his office frequently. Fu Yunting couldn’t possibly hold that against her.

Today, she had gone home at noon specifically to shower and change into fresh clothes.

When she returned to work in the afternoon, she used the excuse of delivering documents to enter the CEO’s office once again.

Just as Fu Yunting was signing the papers, she deliberately dropped the pen she was holding at his feet.

Using the pretense of picking up the pen, she was, in reality, steadily advancing her plan to seduce him.

She hadn’t actually expected to succeed on her first attempt.

She had thought she would face humiliation several times over, or perhaps even be kicked out of Huan Yu International altogether.

Who would have guessed that the famously cold and aloof CEO would take the bait at the very first tease?

Sure enough, men were all the same—they loved to chase after flowers and pluck at willows.

He ignored his beautiful young wife at home, yet couldn’t resist sneaking a bite elsewhere.

And she, Sheng Yuyue, was precisely that beautiful young wife—the one who had officially received the red marriage certificate with Fu Yunting. She had been lurking by his side for three months, and he still had no idea who she was.

It wasn’t entirely his fault for not recognizing her, though. Even Song Qi, who had met her before, hadn’t recognized her either.

Before the interview, she had specially arranged for someone to create a new ID for her, and with her superb makeup skills, she completely transformed herself into a different identity.

She was now Sheng Xia, the executive secretary of the CEO of Universe International.
