His tone was low and slow, seemingly languid, yet carrying an intense aggression that landed in her ears.

Through the thin veil of smoke, Zhao Jingwan’s heart slammed violently, fear spreading through her entire body…

She instinctively turned her head to look at the manager beside her, who was clearly just as startled and quickly spoke up, trying to turn the situation around.Full novel: Claimed by a Foreigner: Baby, I’ve Caught You Again — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“Sir, she… she’s new and has no experience. Perhaps you’d like to consider some of the other girls? These others have all participated in beauty pageants. If none of them catch your eye, there are more girls, and I can—”

Before he could finish, the man lifted his gaze toward him, his look casual yet carrying a cold indifference.

“Is that so…”

The manager gave an awkward smile, unsure whether he should continue.

“Then you choose for yourself—do you want to come with me or not?”

Luo Jin lowered his head to look at her again, noticing the girl was so tense she looked like a stiff slab of concrete. He added,

“Don’t be afraid. I’m a gentleman. I’ll respect your choice.”

When he said this, his tone softened, as if coaxing…

Zhao Jingwan’s nervous tension had just begun to ease

when something cold and hard pressed against her waist. Her body froze, not daring to move another inch.

The man held a gun, casually raising and placing it—the icy muzzle pressed against her lower abdomen.

“Hm? Made your choice?”

Still the same careless tone, a smile lingering at the corner of his lips.

But Zhao Jingwan knew this man had never given her a choice at all.

“If you don’t say anything, I’ll take that as consent to come with me.”

This time, she closed her eyes in despair.

The club had rooms for guests to rest in. She was tossed onto the bed by the man, but he didn’t immediately begin.

She breathed a slight sigh of relief, watching him walk over to sit on the sofa nearby, pouring himself a drink and sipping it leisurely.

His lazy gaze swept over her as he asked, “Chinese?”

She nodded. The man asked again, “Where in China?”

Zhao Jingwan, now on guard, didn’t answer his question.

Seeing no reaction from her, Luo Jin let out a cold laugh. “Are you mute?”

She hadn’t spoken a single word this whole time—what, had someone poisoned her voice?

He stood up and walked over to her.

His large hand gripped the side of her face, applying considerable force.

Seeing her wince slightly with furrowed brows from the pain yet still refusing to speak, he pressed down harder.

“It hurts…”

A faint, soft whisper escaped the girl’s throat.

Her jaw was about to be dislocated by this man’s grip—it hurt so much…

The pain brought tears to her eyes.

The soft Chinese word that slipped from the girl’s lips made Luo Jin’s heart itch once more.

This little thing sure knew how to seduce.

His large hand released its grip, instead reaching to pull away the veil tucked behind her ear.

This time, Zhao Jingwan’s attempt to dodge failed, and the thin headscarf was lifted from her face.

She instinctively turned her head away, and because of that movement, the man’s first impression was only half her face—quite different from what he’d imagined.

Luo Jin had expected a seductive, alluring face.

But when she turned around, what met his eyes was a pure, clean countenance.

A very standard Eastern beauty. Her rounded, elegant features softened the slightly upturned fox eyes, stripping away some of their allure

and adding instead a measure of dignity and cool detachment. The youthfulness between her brows suggested she couldn’t be very old.

It suddenly occurred to him that the person before him might not even qualify as a woman—perhaps she was still a minor?

His interest was instantly cut in half.

Little girl.

“Fuck, a virgin?”

At the thought, Luo Jin’s brows furrowed deeply, his irritation growing. Damn it, had he picked a sour fruit to bring back?

His crude question made her face flush red with embarrassment.

Zhao Jingwan wasn’t very old, but she was about to enter university—a soon-to-be college student who had already reached adulthood.

By nature gentle and proper, being asked such an intimate question to her face by a stranger left her both ashamed and indignant, completely at a loss for how to respond.

She could only glare at him in annoyance, her eyes holding both fear and grievance.

The girl’s timid demeanor was enough for Luo Jin to guess the answer. He planted his hands on his hips, tilted his head, and let out a laugh of exasperation.

Out of those seven or eight prostitutes earlier, he’d gone and picked a virgin with absolutely no experience. What incredible fucking “luck.”

“If you don’t like me, I can speak with Manager Kevin and have him arrange someone else for you…”

Seeing the man’s irritated expression, Zhao Jingwan vaguely guessed that he might not have taken a liking to her. That was wonderful—there was still a chance to escape.

“Actually, I… I’m not for sale either, and I never participated in any beauty pageant. I’m just a waitress working here. The manager asked me to fill in as a stand-in…”

At this point, she couldn’t afford to worry about whether this would betray the manager. Getting this man to lose interest in her and let her leave was what she needed most right now.

How could Luo Jin not see through her little scheme? He’d originally planned to toss her out—he didn’t care for these inexperienced, uptight little green shoots.

But catching the flash of cunning in her eyes made him quite annoyed.

He was a man used to running wild, always the one making others uncomfortable.

This was the first time a kid who hadn’t even grown all her feathers had managed to sour his mood.

How could he possibly let her leave so easily?

Even if he couldn’t bring himself to be rough with her tonight, he’d still play with her until she was begging for mercy on the bed.

With that thought, a malicious smile curled at the corner of Luo Jin’s lips.

That smile made Zhao Jingwan’s heart race with fear.

She’d seen him smile like that before—in the private room earlier, at the man whose finger he’d cut off.

She nervously pressed her lips together, her body on the bed inching backward slightly.

“Sir…”

“Shh…”

Luo Jin’s large hand covered her mouth, and in the next moment, he pressed her down onto the bed, looming over her. His tall, imposing frame pinned the young woman beneath him completely.

“I’ll lower myself a bit and teach you how to do it…”

He caught the fear in the girl’s eyes, curved his lips, and stopped teasing. Lowering his head, he bit down on her slightly parted lips, kissing her almost savagely, making the girl beneath him flinch and tremble.

Her mouth was both sore and numb, and the large hands roaming over her body made Zhao Jingwan feel utterly humiliated and flustered—terrified and at a loss…

The man’s movements were rough and domineering, and she was so scared she was about to cry.

The girl’s soft lips surprised Luo Jin—they were unexpectedly delicious. She was very inexperienced, but somehow, he couldn’t help wanting more.

By the time Zhao Jingwan’s clothes had been mostly stripped away, he finally released her lips.

The man then turned to bite at the side of her neck.

She couldn’t let this continue. Her mind raced, desperately trying to think of a way to escape, to steady her thoughts. She closed her eyes, trying to calm herself, but the sensations on her body only became more vivid…

“W-wait… wait a second…”

Luo Jin heard the girl’s faint voice. His dark eyes, clouded with lust, looked at her face. He propped his large hand beside her cheek, saying nothing.

His heavy breathing betrayed the restraint he was exercising.

It was the first time he’d been this patient, actually stopping mid-way because of a woman’s words. The girl beneath him was too young and inexperienced—perhaps it was this particular kind of partner that made him change the way he savored her.

“I’m scared…”

The girl’s voice trembled, and obvious tears glistened in her eyes. His Adam’s apple bobbed. Something had gotten into him—he stared at those captivating eyes beneath him for several long seconds.

Finally, breaking all precedent, he spoke in a good-natured tone, his voice low and suppressed.

“For someone who sells herself, aren’t you being a bit too delicate?”

“There’s blood…”

Zhao Jingwan pointed cautiously at the bloodstains on his body.

Biting her lip, her eyes misty with tears, she looked like she was genuinely afraid of him in his current state—her expression utterly pitiful.

The man’s throat tightened. He pinched her soft cheek and said harshly,

“When I come out, you’d better be more proactive.”

He knew she had no experience. He wasn’t oblivious to her trembling body. He bit her lip hard once more, then got up and headed to the bathroom.

It was the first time he’d indulged a woman like this. What the hell was wrong with him.
