Chapter 24 Absurd

Class Creator:I Can Create Infinite Classes

Doomfiend Chamber Dungeon

Floor 20

"Uraaa!"

BAM!!

The dungeon boss received a powerful hit from Otto, stunning it briefly. Then Lucien flew forward before unleashing a powerful sandstorm that covered the boss in thousands of wounds.

[Congratulations to Golden Wings for setting a new record in Doomfiend Chamber by 2 hours, 58 minutes, and 10 seconds.]

The boss collapsed and followed by an explosion of loot. All the members of Golden Wing jumped in excitement.

"Hahaha... this War Templar class is very good. Very good! Never did I expect myself to praise an Uncommon-rank class." Otto said as he rested his massive hammer on the floor. His entire body was covered in heavy armor from head to toe.

Out of the 15 Golden Wing members in this party, five of them were using the War Templar class. As soon as they discovered how powerful the class skills were, they quickly bought every War Templar Class Book that appeared on sale without even considering the price. And every time, they succeeded.

"This class’s passive skill, Tempered Body, is really absurd! For every 100 DEF, we get 1% physical damage reduction, up to a maximum of 30%!"

"And Otto is the only one who reached the maximum value. He’s the only one in the company who gets the best armor. I bet his DEF has already reached 4,000."

The hunters were all excited as they talked about the class. Of course, Otto was the one with the widest smile. Ever since he started using this class, replacing his previous Unique-rank class, he had become almost untouchable. Every raid they had done since then managed to set a new record time.

As for the other classes, the company wasn’t interested. This was because they already had two damage powerhouses in Lucien and Riana.

"That new class they’re using is really something, I have to admit. I can enter and exit the battle much more easily with them taking all the damage. Don’t you think so, Lucien?" Riana asked as she trimmed her nails while sitting on top of a fallen monster. She had short, curly black hair and long eyelashes.

"They’re just exaggerating it. There’s nothing particularly special about that class. It’s only sturdy against physical attacks," Lucien tried to downplay it.

For him, the class he possessed, the Growth-Type class, Desert Reaver, currently at Unique Rank, was the best of them all. He had been using it to climb toward the top ever since the class was still at Common Rank.

But he never knew that one day, he would be forced to eat his own words.

"Hey, Max, what took you so long? I’ve been waiting for you for 30 minutes already," Lars said as he waited on his scooter while Max approached him.

"Sorry, man. Stomach ache. Are you sure it’s only the two of us raiding the dungeon today? You don’t want to invite the others?" Max asked. He had actually called Lars last night to ask if he wanted to join the same party with Gina and Melissa.

But Lars suddenly had another idea and told Max that he wanted to learn more about dungeons, so he preferred to clear one with just the two of them.

"Yup. I’m very sure. Now let’s go. We’re already late."

"Late for what?" Max asked as both of them entered the dungeon portal. The dungeon they entered was Caucasus Field, a Rank 6 dungeon. This was the dungeon Max recommended since it could be cleared with minimal party members.

As they entered, a vast green field welcomed them.

"Wow. So vast," Lars said as he looked at the scenery in front of him.

"The reason I chose this dungeon is because I want to show you that there are several types of dungeons. The one we cleared before is called a Floor Dungeon, while this one is an Area Dungeon. This entire dungeon is basically one massive floor divided into many different areas."

Lars nodded.

"But that’s not all. While these two are the most common, there are also several rarer types. For example, there’s the Hybrid Dungeon, which is a combination of both. And the rarest one is the World Dungeon. They say that inside those dungeons, there’s an entirely new world, similar in size or even bigger than our own."

"Have you ever entered one?" Lars asked.

"No. They say World Dungeons are only accessible to a selected few, and most of them are under government protection. So commoners like us have no chance of entering one for sure."

"I see."

As they were talking, a large beetle suddenly appeared and lunged toward them from the sky. Max quickly drew his sword before swinging it and cutting the beetle in two.

After that, more and more beetles started flying through the sky and diving toward them. Max parried and countered with his sword, while Lars attacked using his bow and arrows. In no time, the Divine Ranger class reached 100% efficiency, increasing his maximum CP by 1.

But over time, it became harder for Lars to attack since he needed to nock an arrow before every shot.

"I think it’s time to test the new class."

Lars then switched his class to High Mage. A blue light appeared beneath his feet, while a blue symbol formed on his hand. Max immediately noticed the change in Lars.

Lars suddenly raised both hands. A ball of flame formed above his right hand, while a ball of ice formed above his left.

He then hurled both spells toward the group of beetles, slaughtering them all in a mixture of scorching flames and freezing chill.

"Nice!" Lars shouted. One of the passive skills of High Mage was Parallel Casting. Each hand could cast a different spell independently from the other.

But that wasn’t all. Lars’s hand suddenly formed another flame ball on its own. It was due to another passive skill, Double Casting, which gave a 50% chance for a spell to be cast again at zero cost.

With this new class, Lars rampaged across the dungeon, while Max could only watch in surprise.

"Lars! What class is that? Did you just change your class?"

"Yeah. Using that other class is really slow, so I changed to something more offensive and faster."

"But it’s a pity you lost that class. It was actually a good one," Max said. From common understanding, once someone equipped another class, their previous class would be gone forever and replaced by the new one.

"No. That class is still here." Lars said as he changed back to Divine Ranger as the 30-minute cooldown had already passed since he switched away from this class.

"What?! How is that possible?" Max was shocked.

"Hehehe. That’s the reason I brought you here." Lars smiled.
